Located one block from the sandy beach, this home offers a perfect blend of comfort and convenience, with easy access to stunning Carlsbad beaches. Step inside and discover an open layout, boasting a plush living area, a fully equipped kitchen offering modern appliances, and a spacious breakfast bar. With ample seating and warm decor, this is an ideal space to gather for a meal or entertainment.

The primary bedroom features a luxurious Queen-sized bed, and en suite bath. The second bedroom and third bedrooms are also furnished with Queen-sized beds, while the fourth room offers a twin-over-full bunk bed, making this an ideal retreat for families or groups. There is a guest bath offering a shower/tub combo as well. Each bedroom also features its own mini-split air conditioner/heater, ensuring everyone's comfort.

Step outside to the backyard retreat, where you can enjoy the fresh air and sunshine, and a private hot tub. The patio area is ideal for al fresco dining or just unwinding after a day of sun and sand.

Came with another family for spring break and we really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for us all, well stocked kitchen and living room was comfortable. Outdoor spaces were so nice and the hot tub was a nice amenity. Location was just one street up from the beach which was great.

Modern amenities

Perfect location to the beach and a nice mile walk into town. The house had comfortable beds, nice linens, and a fully stocked kitchen for cooking. The hot tub was a nice bonus too.

Stayed here with a group of friends and it was the perfect size and had everything we needed. Some initial confusion with the ACs and hot tub but they were super communicative and responsive. Super clean, comfortable, and such a short walk to the beach! Highly recommended spot

The pictures are certainly better than then the actual property…however the location is awesome and the beds were comfortable. Ran out of essentials and had zero response from property management. It’s on a busy street…so be prepared for a bit of noise.

Enjoyable stay

I was a little nervous because the past few reviews weren’t very good. We’ve stayed at a variety of short term rentals, and we were happy with this one. The home has been recently updated, linens were provided, and basic bathroom items were present too. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Location was great — a short walk distance to the beach. It WAS a bit noisy due to road noise, but we put our children in the 2 rooms furthest from the street and had no issues. No real closets (some small stand up cabinets in some bedrooms), but enough storage for us. We’d stay again, if we come back to the area. Thanks!

Great stay overall

Good: -Beach is a block away -Beach is gorgeous -Well stocked kitchen -Hot tub is great -Place was very clean -Master bed is very comfortable (not sure on other beds as I only slept in master). Bad: -Strong bleach smell when we arrived. Place was very clean but we had to air it out for a day. -Kitchen supplies could be better. A couple of new pans needed. -BBQ doesn’t get super hot. Had to finish steaks in the pan to get a good sear. -There is some road noise in all bedrooms. Didn’t bother me but if you’re a light sleeper it could be a problem. -Most bedrooms don’t have anywhere to hang clothing. -Kitchen bar stools not comfortable. Need to be replaced.

Great location but bare bones and broken items

Great location. There are enough issues that I do not think this rental was worth the significant cost per night. 1. The bathtub drain stop was broken. We had small children and could not bathe them. 2. The bathtub divert valve was broken so no way to use the bathtub, only a shower which is impossible for a 2 year old. 3. The bbq was broken and we could not cook dinner. 4. There was nowhere 6 people could sit to eat together inside or outside. Strange for a 4 bedroom house. 5. The bare bones nature of the house was disappointing. We could not clean counters as no cleaning supplies. There was no fitted sheet on one of the beds. We reached out to vacasa via vrbo app and via text and were ensured someone would contact us for repair but that never happened. Unless repairs are made I do not suggest this rental.

Great location, property did not meet expectations

The location of the home was great. 1 block from the beach. No table height seating. We had to sit on the floor to eat meals with our kids. Missing many of the basics. No broom to sweep up the floor to sweep sand. No extra garbage bags, no laundry detergent. Didn’t have enough towels for every person in the house. The outdoor furniture was filthy. Literally black towels after wiping them down. None of the bedrooms have closets or even hooks to hang your things. 1 room had an ikea style closet that could fit maybe a few items. The 4th bedroom is a throughway to the back patio. It’s the only way to get to the back door. We had a toddler sleeping there, so going out back at night, we had to go out the front door and walk around. Inconvenient. The 4th bedroom has 2 nail heads sticking up. I cut my foot on one of them. One of the window shades in the bedrooms was broken. The pergola was supposed to have a cover on it and it blew off at some point before we checked in, the property management missed that. So no shade over the jacuzzi. Overall, great location, disappointed in the upkeep of the home, and not really suitable for small children or toddlers.

Just a another corporate property, no personal touches

It looked clean upon entering. However upon getting settled we found leftover food in a bedroom drawer, and completely unorganized entertainment drawer. This seems like a little issue except the reclining couches did not work because they were all disconnected. We then had to search through this mess of a drawer, which included trash, to find the parts to connect them to the power. BEWARE if you’re looking for at least the standard of a generic hotel room to include things like coffee or more than 1-ply toilet paper, don’t book here or bring your own, as it has neither. The kitchen is well stocked with hardware for cooking but nothing else, no spices or basic pantry items, not a well stocked kitchen.The master bathroom had a major smell coming from it, the best way I can describe it was cat litter. There was no cat or anything we could find to clean or dispose of. When we contacted property management to get help first it was a round robin of questions via text. When we reached someone by phone they seemed to want to help, but then made the comment “I have not been to that property, and I am not sure how it is laid out”. This was regarding a broom to sweep under the couches as we were trying to set them up, because it was very dirty underneath them. When we asked about the bathroom being addressed they said they would send someone, and would let us know when they came. We never heard anything and as far as we can tell no one came. And just lived with the smell.

This is a beautiful home with a short walk down hill to the beach. You can see the ocean from the front of the house but you cannot really sit out front with all the traffic. It is a little further from the Village than I like but it’s not a bad walk on the boardwalk path or through the neighborhood to grab food or coffee. The home was very clean and had plenty of space for the 8 of us. They provided beach chairs, sand toys and an outdoor shower. The hot tub and back yard were nice. The only thing I would like to note is the back yard is not very private. There is a long term rental apartment in the back and the fence is not high enough so it feels like the tenant can look out their window and see into the back yard overlooking the outside eating space and hot tub. You should consider making the fence higher to have this as a truly a private rental home. It is also on a very busy corner but overall a good stay a block from the beach!
