LOCATION LOCATION!! This pet-free / smoke-free home is a 5 minute walk to many desirable Frankfort Avenue restaurants and bars. It is also 5-10 minute Uber ride away from all the hottest spots in the city, including Churchhill downs and the NuLu area.

This home is directly across from The Louisville Presbyterian Seminary & Boyce College, two beautiful campuses

with many walking paths. You will feel safe and comfortable in this cozy bungalow. The location really can’t be beat! At the same time, you are within walking distance to desirable Frankfort Ave restaurants. The owner provides a list of great spots to dine and visit while in Louisville.

There is a king bed in one downstairs bedroom, a queen bed in the other downstairs bedroom and there is a bathroom with a stand-up shower in between both of the bedrooms. Upstairs there is a queen size bed and a full bathroom with a bathtub (no shower head).

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to feel at home while preparing meals.

The garage is not intended for parking. Parking is allowed in the driveway only.

Amanda's home is charming, clean, and worked perfectly for my family's stay. Located right across the street from Southern Seminary/Boyce College and on a road that gets snow plowed, the location can't be beat. We were a short drive to all sorts of things to do and placed to eat. Will definitely be back when we are in Louisville!

Safe and Convenient Location

We stayed at the house during the Run 4 Roses Tournament, and it worked great for us. The house is located in a safe area and is convenient to the Expo Center, restaurants and shopping. If you have trouble with steps, there are a lot of steps at the house. If steps are not an issue, the house is a good place to stay.

I booked this house for the great location next to Boyce college. House was clean and close to places where we needed to go. Check in/out instructions could have been better. We didn't receive any instructions other than the door code on the day we got there. I booked many stays with vrbo and this was my first time I had no check in/out instructions prior to arrival/departure. Doors to bedroom and bathrooms are not smoothly latched/locked. Master bedroom door had no lock. The bathroom on the 2nd floor only had a tub, there's no shower. I must have missed the details when I booked. The day we arrived the screen for the front door wasn't working. Hinges broke and I wasn't able to open/close the screen door so I had to remove it. The master bed frame was damaged and it made noise and moved whenever we turned. I have to say out of all the rooms the kitchen was the only room that we had no issue. Paper/toilet papers and trash bags were supplied for the first couple days so that's a plus. Hopefully these things will be taken care of.

Stay for Louder than Life

This place was wonderful and Amanda, our contact, was awesome. We had a great time. Beds we comfy, living space was welcoming and since one day of the festival was cancelled due to weather we spent a lot of time actually at the house and felt very relaxed and at home. The he only issue is the very creaky stairs. We will definitely be staying there in the future when we come back to the festival

Great Weekend in Louisville with Friends

We meet every summer, a group of friends from high school. The house fit our needs perfectly, with a kitchen stocked with the necessities and plenty of space. We appreciated having the dining room and the living room spaces for us to spread out but close enough to all be together. The location was perfect - close to everything we wanted to see and do. The communication from the host was exemplary, in fact when we communicated that a kitchen tool should be replaced before the next guest stay, the host offered to bring one the next day. Although that was not necessary, it was a great example of service. The outside furniture was not something we could use and if anything, that was the only thing that was not as the listing photos represented but for a short weekend we ended up not needing it. If ever in Louisville again, we'd surely stay at the Crescent Hill location!

House and neighborhood is nice. However, I booked well in advance but when we arrived, after a nine hour drive, I never got a text or email for entry code. We stood in the yard for almost an hour trying to research a way to contact the owner. No responses on VRBO from owner. Called and texted owner multiple times before finally getting an answer. She blamed VRBO but they say the owner was suppose to contact us for arrival details. The property was infested with large black ants. There are bolts sticking out of the front porch that are a safety hazard. There is only one accessible outlet in each bedroom. So, limited device charging at night. Overall a fair stay.
