We're mid-way between the two Yosemite entrances (26 miles / 40 minutes to South Entrance via Rt 41; 45 miles / 1 hour to Arch Rock Entrance via Rt 140; 1 hour 20 minutes to Yosemite Valley). You're also close to several mountain towns, 16 minutes to Oakhurst and 21 minutes to Mariposa. After touring Yosemite, cool off at Bass Lake, 26 minutes away.

The cottage is on a gravel (unpaved) road and shares a driveway with another house on the lot that is about 150 feet away, separated by trees.

Although we are located on a quiet neighborhood road, we are close to the main road from Oakhurst to Mariposa (Rt 49). You will hear some road noise when you are outside.

The home itself is 1600 square feet and has an open floor plan. Inside, you'll find a kitchen that is fully stocked with french door refrigerator, 4 burner gas range, dishwasher, pots & pans, bakeware, a toaster, rice cooker, blender, toaster, microwave, air fryer, basic cooking supplies, silverware, plates/cups/bowls, coffee, tea, sugar, coffee creamer, and more.

From the kitchen, you can access a sunroom with a seating area. It's a great place to unwind in the evenings or enjoy your morning coffee listening to birdsongs.

The living room includes a large sectional sofa and a Smart Roku TV, so you can connect your own Netflix, HBO, Amazon, Hulu, etc. accounts. We have an assortment of board games for your days off between hiking.

Connected to the living room is an office nook outfitted with a 24" high definition monitor with a variety of connections (Thunderbolt, USB C, and Mini DisplayPort) to support just about any laptop. We also supply a laptop stand that fits 13-17" laptops and a wired keyboard + mouse (with USB and USB-C options). Want to escape the city and work remotely? You've found your spot!

From the living room, you can access a back deck. It features a propane grill (tank included) for your BBQ and a seating area, so you can sip your tea as you watch the sun set into the mountains.

Walk downstairs form the back deck and you'll find a cozy area with a hot tub. The hot tub features adjustable jets and temperatures with a view of beautiful evergreens.

Next to the living room is also a brand new full sized washer and dryer if you need to clean up after a hike.

There are two oversized bedrooms with plenty of closet space and seating areas. There are also two full bathrooms - one with a tub and the other with a walk-in shower.

Finally, the garage is your game room with a full sized ping pong table.

Cell phone coverage in the mountains can be spotty. We'll share our Wifi password in advance, so you can use your phone on the grounds.

Please note that this cabin shares a driveway with another house on the lot that is about 150 feet away, separated by trees. You'll have your privacy, but please be respectful to the occupants of the other house and surrounding neighbors.

Also note that there is an outdoor Ring security camera above the garage.
