Getting Around:

Getting around Joshua Tree is easy and convenient from Moonrise Ranch. The house is located just a mile from the center of town, where you can find various shops, bars, and restaurants to explore. It's also less than 10 minutes from the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park, where you can spend your days hiking, rock climbing, and taking in the stunning desert landscape.



If you prefer not to drive, there are several options for getting around town. You can rent a bike from one of the local shops or take a leisurely stroll through the neighborhood. There are also several tour companies in the area that offer guided hikes and other outdoor activities.



If you're flying in, the nearest major airport is Palm Springs International Airport, which is about an hour's drive from Moonrise Ranch. You can also fly into Los Angeles International Airport, which is about two and a half hours away by car.



We recommend renting a car to fully explore the area and get the most out of your stay. However, if you prefer not to drive, there are several shuttle services and ride-sharing options available.

Other Things to Note:

While the house has central A/C, please note that the desert can get quite hot during the summer months. We recommend bringing lightweight, breathable clothing and plenty of sunscreen and staying hydrated throughout your stay.



The house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, and we ask that you please be respectful of our neighbors and keep noise levels down, especially after 10 pm.



Moonrise Ranch is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the premises, including the outdoor areas.



While the cowboy tub is a unique and enjoyable feature of the house, please use caution when using it and do not leave children unattended. Please note that the cowboy pool may have debris during your stay. Although we do our best to ensure it is free of debris, the Mojave Desert is incredibly windy and can cause debris to enter the pool.



We take great pride in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for our guests. Please help us keep the house in good condition by cleaning up after yourself and respecting the property during your stay.
