Regarding the soap and shampoo, we’ve recently adjusted to California’s new ban on single-use plastics, so we no longer provide these items, but we appreciate the feedback. Regarding the nearby school, while it does appear on the mapped location of the listing, we understand how this could have been missed. We’ve since updated the written description to ensure this is clearer for future guests. Fortunately, as you noted, it was winter break and school was not in session during your stay. Many cabins in the North Lake Tahoe area are older, which can mean sound carries more than in newer construction. We understand this can be noticeable, especially for guests sensitive to noise. Had we been made aware of the issues with the pillows or glassware earlier in your stay rather than the night before departure, we would have been more than happy to replace them with new pillows and additional glassware right away. As for the internet, there was an area-wide outage caused by storm damage to a major fiber line. Unfortunately, much of the region was without service for several days while the internet provider completed repairs, which was outside of our control. We’re sorry your experience was disappointing and appreciate your feedback, which helps us continue improving for future guests.
