Das Bridgewater 528 ist ein großes und komfortables Endgerät in der obersten Etage mit zwei Schlafzimmern und WLAN, rauchfrei und wurde kürzlich aktualisiert. Das Bridgewater liegt am schönen Strand von Litchfield, direkt am Meer und bietet einen privaten Zugang zum Strand. Bridgewater verfügt über: Außenpool, Kinderbecken, Strömungskanal und Whirlpool. Von Bridgewater aus haben Sie Zugang zum Meer, zu Rad- und Joggingwegen, zu Tennisplätzen und zu mehreren Golfplätzen.

Labor Day Weekend Family Vacation

Our family enjoyed a great labor day family vacation at this property. The plusses were the master bedroom, the ocean view, the lazy river and pool, and, of course, the wonderful Litchfield Beach.

Great unit. Perfect views. Clean, quiet and updated. Pool and lazy river right beside the ocean. Litchfield by the Sea has been a family favorite for years. You won’t be disappointed.

Condo was clean. At times the bedrooms smelled musty. Has a.c. Units in the living room and two bedrooms. The beds were not very comfortable. Lots of towels were provided. Kitchen supplies were adequate. One complaint about the property the outdoor pool was to be open until 10 pm but the gates to it were looked at dusk. Also the hot tub didn’t have any working jets. Overall the property is nice and the beach was great.

A great place at a great place!

Overall, our stay was very good. We have been staying at LBTS for about 10 years now and all but one year have stayed at Bridgewater. Unit 528 is well maintained, well stocked, and provided ample room during our stay. Overall, very pleased with the unit. My complaint was with check-in. I booked this room through VRBO and communicated directly with the owner, which was great. However, check-in/out is handled by The Dieter Company. All the information I received from VRBO and the owner indicated a 3pm check-in so we planned our arrival for 3pm only to find out Dieter's check-in time is 4pm. Would have been nice to know that. After putting a rush on cleaning, we were given the keys around 330. While the unit was clean, there were some used towels on the back of the bathroom door that were missed and the yellow bag containing used linens and towels sat outside the front door the entire week we were there. A small gripe I know, but the prices that these rentals have risen to over the last few years ought to come with better service, but I digress.

The condo and dealing with with Dieter Company was very good. Litchfield Company needs to bring back pool attendant and lifeguards to monitor beach gear rentals. People are using the umbrellas/chairs who did not rent them. Children are misbehaving at pool/lazy river.

Paradise on the beach

Our rental was just as we hoped and more. It was super clean and comfy as well as well stocked with those extras that one needs. The beds were comfortable and we were supplied with an abundance of bathroom linens. The view from the balcony was wonderful. Looking out over the ocean every morning and evening delighted our senses. We enjoyed the lazy river every day!

Enjoyable stay

Comfortable condo. Convenient to beach, grocery, restaurants. Beach was not too crowded. Lots of shells. Glad we stayed here. Plan to bring your own supply of kitchen trash bags, dish detergent, napkins, extra toilet paper.

Great response by property owner

We stayed 1 week the end of July 2021. Upon arriving at check in on a Saturday the condo was not ready at 3pm as we were told they were still cleaning it. Got keys around 3:45 so wasn’t a huge deal. Once inside condo the air conditioner was not working in the tv room. We contacted rental company and they came out but did not fix it so I contacted the property owner. He was very helpful and responded to our problem as quickly as he could. The property owner had a brand new air conditioner put in on Monday so we were a little warm for the first 36 hrs of our trip but he graciously offered to refund some of our money for our troubles. Once the air was fixed we had a great week! There was rarely a wait for the elevators, pool area was nice and easy access to the beach! We had a great week!

Perfect Family Vacation

This was a great place to stay and it was the perfect size for us. It had everything we needed and wanted. The view of the ocean is beautiful and there was more than enough to entertain us for the week. Our son is almost three and he loved the lazy river and pools. The beach is nice and close, so we could easily go between all the water options. If you want to eat out or get take out, plan ahead!!! Dinners require reservations and take out is about 90+ Minute wait. Once you know this, it’s easy to work around and there’s great restaurants in Pawleys Island and Murrells Inlet. We hope to be back in the future, it really was perfect!

Enjoyed Our Stay

Very nice condo with everything you need to enjoy the beach! We did have an issue with the living area AC unit. Called the rental agency and they responded immediately with sending out someone to repair it. They worked on it, but unfortunately it did not help at all. The living area AC unit definitely needs to be addressed. These things are to be expected at the beach and I appreciate the quick response. Both bedroom AC units worked great!! We had a great time and this is a great place to stay!!

Nice location, but second bedroom not good condition when we rented

Possibly more like 3.5 stars. First with the positives…The location is great, and so is the pool. We didn’t even make it to the beach on the first day because the kids were so excited about the pool that they couldn’t go past without giving it a try. We loved being able to walk from the condo to the beach easily each day. There’s a great atmosphere at the building- everyone one is friendly. The master bedroom is lovely. Beds are very comfortable. The kitchen has most of the basic equipment for what we needed. We liked that it was a corner unit with extra windows in the kitchen and living room. Now for the negative…when we first arrived on Saturday evening, there were two laundry bags of smelly, dirty laundry by the front door. Thinking that housekeeping must have been busy and would return, I didn’t call in the beginning. I’m sure it was an innocent mistake, but it stayed until Tuesday when I finally called to have it moved. The second and most frustrating negative was the a/c in the guest bedroom. From the moment we walked in the door of the unit, we smelled a strong mildew/mold smell. We finally determined it was coming from the second bedroom but couldn’t pinpoint the exact cause. We did notice, however, that the back of the condo and the second bedroom were much hotter than the front. Our children slept in the room one night and woke the next day with stuffy noses and allergy symptoms. From then on, we did not use that room and our kids had to sleep on the pullout sofa in the living room for the rest of the week. To be fair, when I called the management company, they immediately took action and sent someone to look at the a/c unit. The contractor sent to look at the a/c said it was dirty, not functioning properly, and undoubtedly the source of the bad smell. They returned the next day to clean it, but the smell didn’t really go away until the last day of our stay. I appreciate the rental management company did their best to rectify the situation when I called, but I have to wonder how it got in such a bad situation in the first place. I am disappointed that we were rented a unit in that condition where we were unable to even use one of the bedrooms we paid for. The smell and poor function was bad enough that it should have been noticed by someone else (manager/housekeeping/etc) before we ever arrived. This unit has potential to be a great place to stay, but our visit was definitely disrupted by the state of the second bedroom.

This is our 3rd year staying at this property. It is always very clean. Beds are comfortable. Great ocean views and property has easy access to beach, pools, and lazy river.

Family Trip

The unit was as described in the listing. Clean property with everything we needed for our short family vacation. Location of the unit to the nice pool and short access to the beach was fantastic. Would highly recommend staying here as we may again ourselves.
