The host is great! The property really needs some TLC. The unit we stayed in slants significantly where when sleeping you feel like you are going to roll down hill. I am unsure how the unit sleeps any more than 6 people as the couch definitely isn’t a bed. The property location is phenomenal, close to the beach and the local activities. Inside was clean and fairly up to date. Wish the grounds crew would have cut the lawns as they were overgrown and made that area unusable.

Amazing Property

Absolutely loved our stay! The place was spotless, exactly as described, and packed with great amenities. Perfect location too—just a short walk to both the beach and tons of great restaurants. Would definitely book again!

Great Location.

The place and area was great for us. Great Beach for dogs and people. Entertainment and food all around. Nice little beach community. The manager also was so quick to answer when we asked a question.

We really appreciated the location for our dogs to go to the beach daily. We enjoyed the espresso machine and the toiletries. The home itself was clean inside. The listing photos had a L shaped sectional but in actuality it was just one part of it which limited our seating for our family of 7. It appeared that the old furniture was discarded in the side yard which remained for the duration of our stay. Thankfully 3 of the 7 are still little guys so we squeezed on the three beds. The house itself had a noticeable odor that seemed like a possible gas leak. We immediately discussed with the host who was responsive in confirming that the house had previously been evaluated and assured it was not a gas leak. However, the fact that the host was aware of the odor prior to our trip and made no effort to remediate it before or during our stay is poor representation of the quality of the property at the price we paid. A quick google search indicated that the likely cause could be a sewage leak/backup issue. The house structurally has seen better days. As a host myself I felt that the property was misrepresented and I would not be comfortable listing this for anywhere near what we paid for it.

Amazing location! Close to bars and the beach. There's also a 711 right outside the house. Thanks to past reviews, we made sure to take our coffee maker. I would also take some plastic utensils.

Simple Getaway

This is a very basic beach rental. It's perfect for dogs, yard and dog door were just perfect. Some issues: buy a cheap coffee maker from Walmart-10 bucks! Glue down loose tile by kitchen table, and the lamp by the front window was broken and we propped it up more than once. But property was quiet, convenient to beach, clean. And the host Rebecca was amazing at trying to help us get the college playoff game. She went above and beyond. Overall, I would stay here again as it's perfect for dogs.

We will never stay here again!!!

The floors are coming up and some pieces are missing! The inside furniture was so uncomfortable!!The pans for cooking are in terrible shape! The back yard is terrible, I was hoping to be able to sit outside and relax. The yard furniture is absolutely terrible it is moldy and the table does not have a top on it. The foundation is terrible the house is slanting. I payed way to much for this place and would not recommend I have stayed at lots of VRBO’s and this is the worse

There is no way to sleep 8. Furniture shown in living room was not in house. There was one very small love seat size couch only, not enough room for us all to sit. Back yard was fully over grown with weeds, my pet wouldn’t even try to walk in there to use the restroom. Broken tile in the rock area also didn’t leave much room for pet to walk around. All outside furniture was so dirty, you couldn’t even sit on it. Everything was just very very run down. One half of the house significantly slants down and can be felt when sleeping in the room with only one bed. House had a funny Oder. Pros: on sight parking, walking distance to many restaurants and coffee places plus the beach! Easy to find and get to and the area felt safe. That said, probably would not book house again without it having major improvements

Location was great! Walkable to so many great things. The fact that it had a parking spot was huge. Living room, kitchen and bedrooms were a nice size. Great TV. Lots of opportunity to make this place great. Nice size private backyard with great sting lights but the back yard was unusable due to rusted fabric/metal chairs, dirty plastic chairs and yard not maintained (not mowed nor weed-wacked) We would have used this backyard a lot and could really make the difference in wanting to rent again.There was a Nespresso machine with a few pods, but would be better if there was a Kuerig or real coffee pot--- however walking to the CafĂ© Bella around the corner was a treat every morningThere was an off and on natural Gas smell in kitchen and back porch which was concerning and reached out to host but never got a response. We needed extra supply of wash cloths and hand towels – but didn’t ask since there was no response from earlier serious gas question.We used the kitchen a couple times for breakfast but was difficult as there was no cookie sheet and just had two very small skillets. So, a few extra basic items would be great, but we made do. A general lack of response by the host before and during the stay was concerning and not to standard of the industry and 10 VRBO’s we stay in per year.With some communication and a little bit of change, we would definitely stay here again.
