The ultimate mountain cabin!

Rating Details: The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was a wonder of mountain decor! Completely filled with cool antiques, mountain knick-knacks and furniture, native-American items, animal skin accents, etc. Full of games and books. Also, the living arrangements are amazing as well as the amenities and kitchen pantry, dishes and gadgets supplied. We had a need for some help with the fireplace and a young women from the office came out on her way home and got it started for us. The view of Grand Lake from the deck was perfect as well as the privacy around the house. Distance from Grand Lake was just right, only about a mile, so going to town or the RMNP was easy. The condition of the property was immaculate; absolutely spotless and well cared for, you can tell. I have already recommended friends to stay there. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Rustic but Modern

The cabin was super nice and can’t beat the location! We had issues with the wifi, which was a little frustrating when trying to have a family movie night, but everything else went really well.

LOVED this place!

This cabin surpassed all of my expectations! The best part is the view of the lake. It is even better than the pictures portray! We spent a lot of time on the deck to enjoy the view. The cabin was extremely clean upon arrival and the owners have it decorated so nicely. Plenty of space for 6 of us. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of cooking supplies. Loved the location as well. The neighborhood felt somewhat secluded, but neighbors were close by as well. Loved that it was only a 5 minute drive into Grand Lake. Our kids walked one day! The only drawback was that the loft bedroom was pretty warm at night (about 80 degrees) but with the windows open, it was cool by morning. This was our first trip to Colorado and it couldn't have been better!

Hi Misty, We are absolutely thrilled that you loved your stay! Grandview Chalet is a true hidden gem, with priceless views, unique decor and atmosphere you just can't find anywhere else. We love that you and your family were able to take advantage of everything that this home and Grand Lake has to offer. It's good that the mountain air was able to help cool you down during the evenings in the loft room, if you book this property again in the future there are box/floor fans available to use as well. We hope your first trip to Colorado was everything you wanted, and we hope to host you again next time you're in Grand Lake! -Grand Mountain Rentals
