★ EARLY CHECK-INS ★ - Early check-ins are not guaranteed. Airbnb allows you to choose a preferred check in time, but it is up to the host to determine if any time before 4pm (depending on property) is feasible. Please send a message to us to request an early check in if you need to do so. The fee for early check-in is $25 per hour for every hour in advance of the check-in time.
★ LATE CHECK OUTS ★ - Check out is no later than 11am. Late Check outs must be approved by the host. Late check outs are $50 per hour for each hour beyond the regular 11am check out. If guests stay past the 11am check out time without the host’s approval and without completing payment, guests will be charged for the next night’s stay.
★ MAINTENANCE ★ - If a maintenance issue arises at the house, we will do our best to correct the issue as quickly as possible. We ask that our guests be patient and understanding with “fix it” requests. Emergency maintenance issues will be corrected before any minor issues. Examples of minor maintenance issues include the following: Failed blinds, curtains, light bulbs, a slow toilet flush, etc.
★ NO PETS ALLOWED ★ Sadly, our home is not suitable to accommodate pets. Anyone found to have brought a pet of any kind onto the property will be fined $500 and asked to remove it immediately.
★ EVENTS ★ There are no parties or events allowed at the listing. If the guests throws a party or event, trashes the space, damages the unit, disrespects the property, or has extra guests that are not disclosed/reported in the initial booking, the booking party will be charged a deep cleaning fee which maybe between $500-700. Additionally, a charge for carpet cleaning will also be charged which is dependent on the size of the home.
★ CLEANING ★ - The home’s cleaning fee is based on a courteous guest (someone that picks up after themselves, puts dishes in the dishwasher, towels in 1 pile, someone that leaves the place as they find it, etc.). This is not a hotel. If the housekeeping crew finds an unreasonable mess or anything is damaged, an additional cleaning fee of $50 per hour will be charged to the guest for each additional hour of cleaning or maintenance required. There is no smoking of any kind allowed at the property. This also includes any form of cannabis or vape both inside the residence and in the outdoor spaces. If any smoke debris or smell is identified during or after a guest’s stay, a $250 deep cleaning fee will apply.
Also please ensure that the number of guests matches your reservation as each person generates more to clean. There will be a $50 fine per guest at the property in excess of the reserved number.

The place was fantastic with one caveat - it is an older place and definitely was cold in the morning. However - the hosts were possibly the most responsive and accommodating hosts I've ever come across using VRBO. They same day shipped a space heater to make it more comfortable. Great location to the University of Washington too.

An absolutely adorable vintage cottage, ideally situated close to UW. I stayed here for a few days to help my UW junior move into her fall housing. It was ideal in that we could walk everywhere and Trader Joe’s was just down the street. The house is beautifully updated and tastefully decorated. I really enjoyed all the windows and the most fun was people watching on the street! The neighborhood is very mixed use with a lot of students and quite a few unhoused individuals who stay in the park down the street at night. But despite that, the house felt secure and safe. There was a bike available for my use which even though I didn’t end up using it, that was very thoughtful. The beds were very comfortable as were the rest of the furnishings. I’d love to stay here every time I’m in town visiting my DH!

Convenient Location
Rented for 9 nights for medical purposes. Primary appointments at UWMC, so this property was perfect! Neighborhood was pretty quiet. Only had one 2am awakening with neighbors just outside bedroom. No biggy. The house is old, but very nice, very well supplied and clean. I would give it a 10 on comfort except for the living room seating. But, it was probably more of how we used it as we had a significant amount of down time between appointments and the seating for the 3 of us was not comfortable to watch TV for long periods of time. We did rent a recliner and had it brought in only due to my brothers medical condition. That helped a bit. Otherwise, this is a very nice house and was a good price in a very convenient location. If you’re thinking of staying in the U District for any reason, I recommend this location. Just know you will want a smaller vehicle for parking. I have a short bed truck and it was a little too long to totally fit in the Unit A parking place (extended a bit into sidewalk area). Street parking was a mess as the streets are pretty narrow.
