THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The unit is located in a laid back neighborhood and bordered by The University District, Fremont, GreenLake and Phinney Ridge. Nearby parks include Christie Park, University Playground and Sadako Peace Park. Because of its proximity to the UW campus, there are always plenty of bars and restaurants bustling with locals! Well-known chefs have moved their restaurants here and trendy restaurants have been popping up all over which has really raised the bar for dining in the area. University Village is a great shopping area with well known shops and some boutiques, too. Just a 5 minute drive from the house you will find Woodland Park Zoo. Woodland Park Zoo now has 250 species, 900 animals and 92 acres! You can surely make a full day of this trip if you're up for it. You could also check out Gas Works Park on Wallingford's south edge. It’s the perfect place to set up your own picnic and relax by the water while enjoying the historical remnants of – no surprise given the park's name – an old gasification plant. Some of the plant has been recently renovated into a brand new children's play area.

Wallingford is the most walkable neighborhood of Seattle so getting around by foot is no problem. It is very bikeable too. We are situated in a convenient place for public transportation, with several bus stops nearby to downtown Seattle, Fremont, South Lake Union, or the University District for the University of Washington. It is just a 10 minute walk to the new UW light rail station. You can also drive into downtown Seattle in about 15 minutes, and Uber/Lyft are widely available.

If you decide to bring a car, there are often 4-5 street parking spaces open in front of the unit. $250 REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT AUTOMATICALLY INCLUDED IN RESERVATION. REFUNDABLE UPON CHECKOUT/RETURN OF PARKING PASS.

Would stay here again!

This home is in an excellent location. It is walkable to UW, restaurants, shops, grocery stores, anything you need. I was worried being so close to I-5, the traffic noise might be too loud. It was not. I could slightly hear it with the windows closed, but not enough to be bothersome. I never even noticed it while on the roof deck because the views are breathtaking. The house was clean, comfortable, and in a perfect, walkable and safe location. I would definitely stay here again!

Seattle visit

Selected this property bc of its location. My son’s a UW student that lives near the campus. Property is very tidy and views are incredible. Parking was a challenge but not unexpected given the location. Lots of stairs! Also very, minor item- there was no scissors or paper towels.

Perfect for a Weekend Trip

The place has beautiful views of the city and a nice cozy feel inside. The provided board games and coffee were nice touches. We spent most of the weekend out and about, but this was great as a home base for a busy trip.

Great stay near UW and lots of food options!

Visiting my UW child - great location for walking to bars and food. Good neighborhood to walk the dog. Yes, there are a lot of stairs - but it was perfect for us and the views from the top floor and roof are spectacular.

We thoroughly enjoyed our roof top deck. What a beautiful view of the city and Mt. Rainier. The house was very nice and clean. Lots of stairs, which was fine for us, but fyi. Communication was via text and they were responsive to our questions.

Awesome Place for family vacation

We had a very nice time in Seattle. The house was very clean, spacious and 100% as described in the advertisement. The evenings on the rooftop with skyline view are outstanding. Parking was a bit tricky due to roadworks. All rest has been been perfect. In easy reach to Seattle downtown, Bellevue and Redmond. Great experience for me and my family. Greetings from Germany.

Lots of stairs and freeway noise

The upper floor with the master bedroom gets a lot of noise from the nearby freeway. If you have mobility issues at all or have small children, there's way too many stairs. The downstairs bathroom ceiling fan was leaking brown water. Would not stay again.

Great Spot to Visit our UW Student

Just stayed here with our dog. What a great place! All pros - no cons. This was the most well stocked rental I have ever stayed at. Very clean & comfy. Pots/strainers/baking pans etc were all at the ready. Very well-stocked spices to boot! Mornings were great - coffee (pods!) creamer & sugar packets provided in cute canisters. cleaning spray and sponges, dishwasher & laundry soap shampoo/conditioner/soap hair dryer in showers all provided. It is very close to the freeway and the first night we used a white noise app on our phone- then realized the freeway WAS white noise and didn’t use it again. LOTS of beautiful windows and THE VIEW from the master and roof was amazing. Windows mean light -so if you’re sensitive a sleep mask might come in handy. Beds were comfy. The roof has a great couch with pillows & a table. The room at the bottom entry level has a Murphy bed. Also a small fenced backyard with a bbq and a table. We didn’t use it but it was a selling point when we were booking.There was no “garden” just overgrown greenery but that wasn’t a priority. This unit is 4 levels plus roof. LOTS of steep stairs. Just FYI if you have injuries, toddlers, or people with mobility issues. The main living area is on the second level. Street parking- we usually were about a block away. There’s a permit provided which is nice. Make sure to return it at checkout (we always take a pic of returned keys/permits when we leave) Great rental. Highly recommend!

Great time in a great location

Perfect spot to stay for a friends wedding in the area. Very walkable location. Accommodations were nice, only one or two small hiccups that the property manager addressed quickly. Certainly recommend. Great view from the rooftop, though a bit loud with adjacent traffic.

Clean and convenient

Location was convenient and home was very clean. The kitchen could use more tools (tongs, spices, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, etc.), but other than that communication was great and fast. Would stay again.

Great home away from home with a beautiful view of the city.

The home was clean and had everything we needed. The location was perfect as my son lived nearby. Many restaurants are just a short walk away and there is easy access to the highway around the corner for quick trips downtown. There are lots of stairs but we didn't mind getting in our extra steps. We had a great visit!

Seattle Long-Weekend

We enjoyed our stay at your City-scape townhome. The rooftop was incredible and we had great weather for it. We would definitely stay here again if we are back in Seattle. The beds and sheets were some of the best we've ever slept on. The kitchen and appliances were all top-of-the-line equipment. We always like a Nespresso machine. Be aware that this is a 3-story townhome and there is no elevator. There is an entry floor bedroom but bedrooms 2 and 3 are up respectively 2 and 3 sets of stairs.

Wicked Wallingford Wrental

Absolutely loved this place! We stayed during an epic heat wave so the air conditioning throughout the rental was sublime. Chilled on the rooftop patio everyday soaking in the gorgeous views while taking advantage of the big grill in the downstairs garden. Be ready to walk up and down lots of stairs, we all definitely got our steps in and then some everyday.

Modern Cityscape had a few initial issues, but most were addressed. The place was very clean and lovely. The views were fantastic and made the stay so fun for us from out of town. Really best set up for 4 people in terms of supplies, not more, but we made do. With the new coffeemaker (too bad that it was on the last day for my fam) we were happy. A great apartment that could be made a little more gourmet in the kitchen if the dishes matched and there were enough glasses. Very good service and response from management. We would definitely stay again!

Brand new townhouse

Found this place in a quick search on VRBO, and couldn't be more satisfied. Nice modern decor, extremely well equipped kitchen. There are five levels, with a great Seattle view from the third -floor bedroom, and a spectacular 360° view from the terrace on the roof—Space Needle, Puget Sound, and everything.
