Gated front yard so I could just let my doggo out while going to the car. Nice walkable neighborhood & stores & food nearby. Comfy beds and well stocked kitchen made this a great stay.

Great home away from home

Great location, quiet neighborhood, clean house. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and there was a slide in front yard & a few children’s toys in laundry area. Residence is close to a few restaurants and a grocery store. ,

Spring Break in LA

Great location, minutes to 6 flags and 45 minute drive to airport and 35 minutes to Universal Studios. Communication, cleanliness and overall stay top notch!!

Home for graduation

Great location. Quiet neighborhood. Easy to access from main streets. One small step at door, made it easy to enter for folks with arthritis. Rooms were nice size and beds were comfortable. Living area and kitchen also good size and appliances all worked. Nice size yard for our dog to run around and nice neighborhood for walking our dog. We will be checking availability next time we are in Santa Clarita.

Rental

The home was in a great location and close to the locations we were visiting. Although we didn’t spend a lot of time at the home I do have a few issues with the home, would say nothing major. We were planning on having a cook out but the propane tank was empty and well I was not going to spend 50$ to fill the tank . The house also had a weird smell to it as if it had not been used yet the property manager said it had renters prior to our arrival. The couches felt dirty and as if they haven’t been cleaned in a while . We had an issue with the ceiling fans in the master bedroom and the bedroom across. When we would try to turn on the light or fan it would turn off the light and or fan in the bedroom across. Aside from that I would say the home was ok if you plan to be out and about and not spend much time in it.

We didn't get to stay in the original house of our reservation

The day of our reservation the host (Blanca) called and told us that our original reservation had been double booked and that we were unable to stay at the original location of our reservation. We paid extra money per night, along with additional host fees (electricity, water, and cleaning fees) to stay at this location because it had a hot tub. The host did find us other accommodations after numerous attempts and traveling to 3 different locations. It was a mess! The host had promised us a partial refund for the difference in the price of the rental; however, after contacting her several times and VRBO - we never received a refund for the difference in the nightly rate and the additional host fees. We ended up paying approx. $360 extra to stay at a home that we did not originally reserve. Also, it did not have all the additional amenities that we paid for. The host ghosted us and will no longer communicate with me. I am very disappointed in VRBO and Blanca (host). I will not be using this service again and I would never use Blanca as a host. I feel ripped off!

Do Not Stay

This was the worst stay I've had with a rental. The host was responsive up until an hour prior to check in. We were ghosted, had no way in, had to speak with support for an hour who also could not get ahold of the host and didn't have much else they could do (which will make me stop using vrbo - first & last time). Just so happens, someone is staying in the guesthouse connected to our house (we were told it was single, no attachments). She happened to get ahold of the host's son who informed us the host is not in the country and a different time zone so was not available! After an hour and a half, (no help from vrbo support), he got the code to get us in the house. We get in the house and notice the following- 1.) There's a driveway, no way to get to it unless you want to hop the curb (which we were told to do). 2.) 3 very alive spiders chilling in the hallway 3.) Lights not working 4.) Urine on the seat (after being told it was cleaned). 5.) Someone's personal belongings in the house, including eye glasses, pillows, things in freezer, fork in the sink, etc. 6.) Tried to use the washer & dryer (both of which did not work) had to take hand rung clothes to the laundry mat. 7.) No sheets and blankets on the master bed (made the king size bed with the queen size pieces from the spare bedrooms. Mattresses horrible 8.) The masterbath door hits the toilet. (Get in close the door, move to the corner to get to the toilet)- super claustrophobic on both. 9.) HORRIBLE DO NOT STAY!
