Great location and seamless rental experience

My husband and I had a great time! The condo was clean, beautifully situated, and served as a great retreat between entertainment and much needed rest and relaxation. Hosts stayed in touch throughout our stay and were available to help with any needs.

Not only do we love this location and this resort, renting from this owner was so easy. The communication was perfect. We had all of the information we needed and knowing what was provided before arriving meant that we could be prepared and not spend precious vacation time running to the market after we arrived. Definitely plan to rent again!

I couldn't have been happier with Pelican 506. It is beautifully decorated and super clean. The kitchen was well stocked with a plentiful supply of pots, pans, dishes and utensils. The view is stunning as well! Enjoyed the condo for 7 weeks and truly felt it became my home away from home!

You'll never find a better place to stay

My first time at Destin West was two years ago and I've been back four times since then with Coastal Vibe. I cannot speak highly enough about the staff and the booking process. The resort itself is spectacular and I'm convinced there is no better place to stay. I don't even get mad when there are double red flags on the beach because the lazy river, views, pools and property are so enjoyable. If I could give 10 stars I would!

Great Vacation in Fort Walton - Destin West Beach & Bay Resort

We stayed at the Destin West Beach & Bay Resort. Our room was in the Pelican Building:Room 506. We really enjoyed it. The condo was clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. The condo is tastefully decoroated. The entire resort is great. The lazy river and the pools were perfect. Very clean and the entire property is beautiful. This was our 3rd year in a row to stay at Destin West. This is one of our favorite vacation spots. Coastal Vibes Management was very attentive. Our ice maker was not working and they promptly came and fixed the issue. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Condo needs some upgrades

Wish this condo was nicer. All of the beds were terrible. My son was too big for the bunk bed so he pulled out the couch bed and it was broken and the mattress was trash. It was like laying on metal bars. Shower in master needs to be redone and the sink did not drain. This was the first vacation that I couldn’t wait for it to be over.

Destin West / Heron

My family enjoyed our stay in this cozy little condo! Heron at Destin West was super clean! The condo was stocked with plenty of dishes, linens, extra blankets, beach items, and even had a floor fan. The furniture and decor was up to date, the kitchen table was big enough for all 6 of us. The pools and the lazy River were so fun and we had Amazing beach access. We did have a water leak in the ceiling but maintenance was in there within an hour of us calling to report the issue. We also had the water shut off for a couple of hours. However the property manager sent us a text message saying the water was off for routine maintenance and received a text message once it was back on. Other than that.. we had an amazing time. I recommend staying g at Destin West! We love it and enjoy each time we are there!
