Unser Ufergrundstück fällt zum See hinab und verfügt über ein eigenes Dock zum Angeln und Bootfahren. Es ist eingebettet zwischen drei Städten - Hinesburg, Bristol & Vergennes. Atemberaubende Sonnenuntergänge am See sind zu allen vier Jahreszeiten unsere Hauptattraktion. Natur- und Vogelbeobachtung sind nur einige der Highlights unserer Ferienwohnung.

Winter: Zu den Winteraktivitäten am Cedar Lake zählen Eisfischen, Skaten, Schneeschuhwandern, Langlaufen, Motorschlittenfahren und Wandern. Es ist ein Winterwunderland! Zu den Skigebieten in der Nähe zählen Mad River Glen, Sugarbush, Stowe und Bolton.

Herbst: Spektakuläre und atemberaubende Blätter mit erstaunlichen Rot-, Orange- und Gelbtönen ziehen Menschen aus allen anderen Staaten und der ganzen Welt an. Weitere Aktivitäten im Herbst umfassen Angeln, Bootfahren, Wandern und Apfelernten in der Nähe der Norris Farm.

Frühling / Sommer: Das Paradies am Cedar Lake wird im Frühling und Sommer zu einem Paradies für Naturliebhaber und bietet viele Vogelarten, Fische, Insekten und Tiere. Fantastic Long-Term Stay for Our Employees

We rented this property for our employees to stay for over a month, and it exceeded our expectations. The home was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. Nice Place, Upkeep Could Be Better

Beautiful view of the water. Loved the open kitchen-living room areas, spacious bedrooms, and plenty of bathrooms. Upkeep and maintenance were less than stellar: things were broken, unusable, outdoor features were unkempt and rodents ate our food :(

We had a great time at this lake house over the weekend! We enjoyed the paddle boats and kayak, as well as the floating dock. We loved the screened in porch, and all the spacious bedrooms. Thanks!

Great location. Peaceful setting

Kitchen updates were really nice. View of the lake is amazing with beautiful sunsets. All 3 bedrooms on entry floor. Main floor is a great area and downstairs from the bedrooms. Please be aware that there is a spiral staircase and only a spiral staircase to go between the floors inside. There is a alternate route outside but not ideal for people that may have mobility issues. Overall a great value per night and would stay again if needed. Thanks

Nice views

I would only recommend this for adults, not appropriate at all for kids. Maybe older kids scary steep to walk down to the water no air conditioning no screens in order to keep the windows or doors open inside. The house is very pretty. The view from the deck is very nice. The kitchen is beautiful. The living room downstairs is nice getting up and down the stairs though it’s a spiral staircase. There are four bedrooms

Awesome place and beautiful house

I stayed there on the 4th of july weekend from friday to monday. This places is beyond thinking. We have enjoyed every single minute. The house is an excellent location. It has magnificant bedroom facing the lake. All the amenities inside the house is enjoyable and very very handy. You can view the evening sunset right from house. Our family is planning on the winter to go the same place. Even my 4 years old son said daddy this is call a living. It is truly a living paradise.

Great time at Paradise!

Booked this house for a weekend with four couples and had a great time. This house is very spacious and has all the amenities you need. Fantastic common areas if you have lots of people. Even the "kids" room was big and okay for adults to use. The beds were really comfortable! Lots of wonderful outdoor space (two decks, a hammock in the yard and a dock) that really soothed NY nature deprived souls. The lake is beautiful as well and it was a pleasant surprise to have access to a paddle boat and row boat. Owners left a beautiful bouquet of flowers on kitchen island. Highly Recommended!

Not good

The house was very musty and moldy especially downstairs - needs dehumidifier and damp rid. Mouse poop all over counter. Ants in one of the bedrooms. The outside was not cared for. Needed mowing and weed eating in order to use fire pit or anything outoutsidethere.

Very nice, but very hot

We enjoyed the house. It looks like it’s had a lot of updates. The owner was very prompt and nice. I know it’s summer so it should be hot outside. But the upstairs where all the bedrooms are located was like an oven. One room has only a sliding door (no windows) but no screen. One has only one window with no screen. It would have helped a little if we could open windows at night. But honestly, installing some AC units would make it perfect. It was not a problem for us, but the stairs could pose a challenge for some. I would recommend staying here! Just bring fans 😊

A Great Place to Get Away

My husband and I stayed here the week of the 4th of July. We really enjoyed our stay and found the property to be clean, spacious and peaceful. The rooms are large and look as they are pictured. The kitcher was spacious with granite floors and granite counter tops. We especially enjoyed sitting in the screened porch watching the beautiful sunsets over the lake. While you can swim in the lake you cannot from this property. However, the neighbor, Lee, is very friendly and allowed us to swim from his dock. We also took the paddle boat out to a swim platform in the middle of the lake and enjoyed swimming and sunning out there. The owner is great to work with and very accomodating. All in all we had a great time. If you are looking for somewhere to get away from it all this is the place to go!

A very good house

We were a group of 10 and went to see the fall foliage at Vermont for a weekend. Enjoyed our stay a lot at this place. The house had adequate space for all of us to sleep comfortably. The kitchen, dining and living room downstairs are big and spacious. Absolutely loved the porch with views to the lake. The fire pit by the lake is another nice thing about the house and we took full advantage of it during the evening time. Everything (Burlington, Stowe, Ben&Jerry’s etc.) are all close by and within 30-40 mins. The house needs some updates inside that are mostly cosmetic and if that is done this it will become a perfect paradise. That is the only reason I am giving 4 stars to this property and leaving that 1 star for the owner as a room for improvement. I Apart from that everything was fine with the house. In all we loved our stay and will be back if we get a chance!!

Not sure where to start, so much wrong and so little right. Mattress was comfortable. Kitchen has been updated and looked nice but oven and stove top were filthy, refrigerator fairly clean. Carpets through out were disgusting. House has 2 1/2 baths, one, the shower didn't work, the other had been updated but both had moldy shower liners. Come on owner, those cost $5.00 apiece at Wal-Mart. The place needs serious fumigation, spider's everywhere through out the house inside and out. When I lifted the cover, the gas grill was totally rusted out through the bottom and was unusable. It is on a small lake, I would call a pond, and would boat on it but I would never swim in it.

Worn-out, unkempt place

Run down house--only kitchen and laundry rooms renovated. Deck and porch not swept/dusted, cobwebs everywhere, squishy beds. Mouse traps on floor, but STILL saw mouse in room. Two of four TVs not hooked up, no directions on how to use. Our daughter heard noises overhead one night and the next day the room smelled like a dead animal. She had to vacate the room. When we contacted the owner, she asked US to check the attic! No pest control showed up to rectify the situation.

Great location and beautiful house

Overall a pleasant experience .. beautiful view of the lake and great location. Had trouble getting the internet to work initially but once we figured it out, it was great. Thermostat in the The living room area doesn’t work so make sure you open the door to let some air in until it is fixed.

It’s ok to stay for few days. What we like the mist was the property by the lake.

It’s ok overall. There are few things need to be upgraded or replaced. The toilet downstairs was not working right. The faucet sink in the bathroom is broken. Mattresses need to replace. WiFi was not working .

Very relaxing mini vacation

The house itself is quite large so it worked well for the 8 of us (only 5 spent nights there). The lake is beautiful and the kayaking (we brought) was fun. We were however disappointed to find that swimming in this lake is not an option so if like us, that is something you want to do this is not the rental for you. We had also brought several lawn games only to find there really isn't a lawn. The property slopes fairly steeply from the road right down to the water. The owner of the property lives in NJ, not sure how often he visits the property. He was very responsive to emailed questions which was appreciated. But a few pieces of advice to make the property more enjoyable: The kitchen is large and updated but dishes were not very clean because the dishwashing detergent was cheap & not effective. Dishwasher is a good brand so just needed better soap. Sponge was so gross we didn't use it. Easy enough to replace frequently. The grill needs to have the burner covers replaced and a good cleaning, which can't be done with grill covers that will disintegrate as soon as they're touched. The outside of the property has a lot of empty planters & birdbaths. If no one is going to maintain them they could be put away in the shed. Planters with nothing but weeds look far worse than no planters. The most expensive thing is a complete remodel of the main bathroom on the main floor. Having said all that, this is overall a good place to stay. As stated the kitchen is large and updated, There is a beautiful , large screened in porch facing the lake, the living room & bedrooms comfortable enough, really nice laundry room and the surrounding country side is just beautiful!

Excellent Getaway-Small town feel

Great place on a small lake, our kids had a blast. Some recent remodels on the kitchen and one bathroom were very nice. This is not a luxury get away but it is still a great place and just what we were looking for. We had 2 families with 8 kids total and it was very comfortable and everything was as advertised.
