Located in Castleberry Hill which is adjacent to southern border of downtown Atlanta. Castleberry Hill is a unique, fun, creative, artistic urban community with a strong historic identity. Many of the early 20th-century warehouse buildings have been converted to lofts and are now the predominate housing type. The population is culturally diverse and the area is continuing to grow in both the number of residents as well as retail and other establishments. Today the area is thriving with retail shops, restaurants, apartments and condos. The proximity to all that Atlanta has to offer in a short walking distance and easy highway and public transportation options are, and will continue to be, major draws to the area.

The railway, which defines street and building patterns as it cuts through Castleberry, is as old as Atlanta itself, and Atlanta’s first horse-drawn trolley line served the neighborhood. The Castleberry Hill Neighborhood, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is Atlanta’s eighth Landmark District, represents the most complete warehouse district still surviving in the City of Atlanta. The area is in the midst of a renaissance, with these old commercial structures being turned into dramatic loft homes for the many people attracted by the prospect of living Downtown.

Self Check-in - Guests can access the building through the front entry or the rear garage doors. Each door is fitted with a smart keypad. You will be provided with a unique code that will work on all exterior entry doors, including the garage. Soft morning light spreads across the Atlanta skyline as you rise above the streets of Castleberry Hill. From the lofted mezzanine to the private rooftop patio, you can settle into a multi-level space shaped by brick accents, custom tile, and winter views of the city. After a day exploring historic blocks and nearby venues, you can return to the warmth of central heating and the soft glow of the indoor gas fireplace.

Sleeping arrangements
With room for up to 10 guests, the layout is designed for both togetherness and privacy. Two master bedrooms feature en-suite baths for added comfort. A semi-private bonus space functions as Bedroom 3, offering an attached half bath and an open layout without a door. Across the home’s multiple levels, you’ll find the flexibility to unwind, gather, or enjoy a quiet corner as needed.

Rooftop and indoor living
The private rooftop patio provides elevated views of downtown Atlanta, especially inviting on crisp winter days when the air is clear and the city feels close yet quiet. Indoors, the gas fireplace and central heating create a cozy atmosphere, while ceiling fans and central air conditioning keep the home balanced during shifting temperatures. A TV, wifi, and a dedicated workspace in a room with a door allow you to blend relaxation with focus.

Kitchen and dining
The kitchen features Jenn Air appliances, including a stainless steel gas stove and oven, along with a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and cooking basics. The open layout flows into the lounge, giving you an easy place to prepare meals or gather before heading out. Free in-unit washer and dryer add day-to-day convenience for longer stays.

Parking and access
Elevator access brs yingou directly into the unit, offering wide clearances and a smooth arrival from the secure garage. Guests have two fully enclosed private covered parking spaces, along with free street parking nearby.

The Otis is more than just another Atlanta building. Located in the neighborhoods main entertainment corridor, It’s a new living space that offers a mix of history and modern style, all thanks to the special touch of one of the community’s former residents — designer turned television star Ty Pennington. Pennington, an ATL native and graduate of Atlanta College of Art, is best known for his work on the original Trading Spaces and ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Almost every piece of artwork in The Otis – not only in the spaces but also inside the gallery (which is the common areas) – is custom work by Ty Pennington. The Otis is named for an elevator manufacturer that once operated on the site. The preserved façade still carries the company’s logo.

The property is very clean, beautiful, and well furnished with plenty of space. The host was responsive. Very convenient to have secure parking in a garage and secure entry. No issues with check-in or check-out. Easy walk to the GWCC or the Mercedes Benz Stadium. Easy to get an Uber pickup. Well appointed appliances, bedrooms, and bathrooms. Washer and dryer were a nice feature. We enjoyed the Mexican restaurant “No Mas” that was just steps away from the building. We would definitely stay here again!

The home is absolutely fantastic, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully designed with so many cozy nooks and spacious gathering areas for the whole family. Everyone had a spot to come together and also their own space to relax.The primary bathroom is nothing short of luxurious and phenomenal — a true retreat. Both of the large bedrooms feature en suite bathrooms with walk-in closets and elegant lighting, creating a high-end, boutique-hotel feel. The kitchen is phenomenal — truly a chef’s kitchen — and made cooking (and enjoying a private chef experience!) such a highlight of our stay.The building itself is stunning, and the location is unbeatable — walking distance to the Mercedes-Benz Center, and just minutes from Morehouse and Spelman. On top of it all, the hosts were absolutely wonderful to work with — gracious, helpful, and so accommodating in making sure our family was taken care of at every step.We would recommend this property again and again. It’s one of those rare finds that makes you feel both at home and completely spoiled at the same time!

When looking at the pictures on the Vrbo website, I was curious to see, if the penthouse, actually was represented well in the pictures. The pictures don’t do it justice. The penthouse was absolutely stunning, with detail to comfort, decor and artwork. It was more than my family and I had expected Walking down the entry hall, seeing the artwork, brought you a sense of exploration of past days, yet a heartwarming feeling.The loft is in the heart of Atlanta, in close proximity to restaurants, the airport, and the aquarium. We felt safe with the security measures needed to enter the building and loft. Ryan, the host was very accommodating and responded quickly when called and texted. I would definitely recommend this penthouse in this area of town to anyone looking to stay in a stunning area of town with restaurants right around the corner and access to places people, and parts of Georgia’s history. I will definitely visit again and again
