Verbringen Sie Ihren Wrightsstrandurlaub in diesem charmanten älter, aber aktualisiert Häuschen befindet sich weniger als einen Block zum Strand! Sie genießen in den bequemen Rocker auf der großen umlaufenden Veranda entspannen, oder ein Nickerchen in der Hängematte auf der privaten Veranda versteckt nehmen!

Gemütlich eingerichtet, hat das Haus einen offenen Wohn- / Essbereich und eine separate Küche. Vier Schlafzimmer und 2 Bäder sind auf der obersten Ebene als auch. Ein weiteres Gästezimmer mit Bad ist im Erdgeschoss mit separatem Eingang.

Fayetteville Street ist ein sehr beliebter Ort, in der Nähe Johnnie Mercer Pier und der Innenstadt von Wrights Beach mit seinen Geschäften, Restaurants und Lebensmittelgeschäft. Die Lee Hütte ist nicht nur in einer großartigen Lage, bietet aber einen Eindruck von der Art und Weise Wrights Strand verwendet werden!

Home is very dated and is in need of updates. Living room furniture is very dirty we did not want to sit on it, is outdoor furniture and can easily purchase new cushions.All bathrooms need updating.... tubs peeling and mold on walls and around tubs

Furniture

Comfortable sitting in the common area was not adequate, there was a loveseat and two lounge chairs for a house that sleeps 10 people. The furniture was dated, dirty and uncomfortable. The 5th bedroom under the home was scary.

Disappointing

The rustic charm and great location are overshadowed by a severe lack of maintenance. Both shows required maintenance before we could use them. The bed mattresses were lumpy and uncomfortable. The back door didn't have a working lock. If you have a family with you be sure to bring extra toilet paper as the owner only provides one roll per toilet.

Needs a little TLC

This home is a charming, old home. I love to rent places with character, but this one needs a little TLC to meet rental standards. One bedroom is a separate garage apartment with major mold issues. The family assigned that room could not use it due to the mold infestation. We contacted the rental company for help and were told that maintenance would be by. We never received any further support.

I do see that you did speak to someone about your mold concerns, and I see that we had a maintenance technician come to the property, but it looks like you were not at the home at the moment. The technician inspected the property, and while they did find some water damage, there was no evidence of any active mold growth. After your departure, we did offer you financial compensation for the inconvenience this water damage caused. Additionally, we have since done some renovations to the downstairs bedroom. We hope you choose us in the future, and we wish you all the best!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental experience was great with Bryant. The house really only has 2.5 baths. The lower level has a bathroom with a stained tub. No shower. None of us would use it. I did use the outdoor shower after it was repaired which worked great for me, but I'm a guy. The furniture is in pretty rough shaped. Lots of stains. Definitely needs more seating in the living room. Only seats 4 people in comfortable seating. Others had to sit on hard kitchen chairs. An added sofa would easily fit in the space. If the furniture was updated and the lower level bath had a shower, I would give a much higher review. Otherwise, it was great. Location is perfect.

Did the job for our Memorial Day weekend, we enjoyed it

Reviewer Comments: Overall this house did the job with great location, convenience of linens ready to go and picked up at check-out, it was pretty clean, no smells or bugs, and was spacious for our group. Also even though the A/C died in the first few hours, someone came out very quickly and fixed it very quickly (thanks!) so no real complaints there.Drawbacks: -Really tired living room furniture (cushions worn and uncomfortable)-The deck was very dirty and the rocking chairs were practically black and got our clothes dirty so we had to wash the entire deck and all furniture off ourselves with a hose upon arrival. Once clean though the spacious porch and rocking chairs were great to have.-Front storm door does not close at all, so that should be fixed or all the A/C gets lost as people go in and out so much.-Master bedroom mattress very sagged in the middle and uncomfortable - needs replacing.-Bathrooms: The main hall bath has a window inside the shower which did have a shower curtain over the window however it was 2or3 inches too short! so that poor window is gonna rot to heck very soon (already is) because the water is going alll over it during every single shower. Also having no fans doesn't help anything. The separate unit downstairs has absolutely no way to take a shower: no curtain, no showerhead, just a single tub faucet, so not very convenient. Also terrible lighting in that bathroom, and no convenient plug in the bedroom.

When we arrived we realized coffee maker did not work but the office brought us a new one whenever we called. We had already been to Walmart and purchased one to use. We wanted to watch a DVD movie but the DVD player would not work. It was not plugged into the TV and we had problems with the wires. I left a pair of slacks in the closet by accident and I called the office but I never heard back. They were in the bedroom with a connecting bath. New brown slacks with the tags still on them hanging in the closet. The following week was the hurricane so I know things were busy. Please let me know if you found them.

Old beach cottage

We loved the location being so close to the beach! However the house was very dirty! I had to go buy cleaning products and a mop and scrub the floors, kitchen and bathrooms before we could unpack... the bathrooms smelled like urine and the whole house had a dead fish smell. After we cleaned it was much better! The house has a lot of charm and very rustic beach vibe. It says it has a grill but it’s charcoal and very rusty and dirty so we didn’t even try to use it. The front porch was also dirty... like ground in dirt and cigarette ashes all over it so I moved it as well.. our feet were black and sandy from walking on the floors.. there was dust balls and Rene ants of food crumbs in the carpets so we vacuumed them several times. The dishes were all dirty and had grainy sweet uff in them so we had to run them all through the dishwasher before using them... they came out of the dishwasher al little better but I’m guessing the dishwasher doesn’t work very well either so we hand washed most of them again. The trash can had scummy grease and food all inside of it and all over the top so we had to was that down as well. I think with improved cleaning people and la little TLC this place could be amazing! The house had a lot of space and the neighbors are SUPER nice!

Hi there, Callie! You're right that the location is awesome at this house - the beach is a quick walk up the street, and being in a more residential area, it's very quiet. I am so sorry to hear you had so many cleanliness issues on your arrival. I don't have record that you called in to report this - but had you, we would have sent a cleaner out right away to make it right. We have very high standards for the housekeepers to follow, so I am shocked to hear it was in this condition. Nonetheless, this would have been an easy fix and I would have loved the opportunity to correct the issue. The dishwasher has been replaced recently with a new one as of January 2021, and the owners have spent a lot of time sprucing up the unit this off season. Comfy older house in awesome location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a great stay at Lee. Amazing location, quiet and with easy access to the surf and the sound. As the pics show it is an older home, great for those nostalgic for when Wrightsville was all cottages. Fantastic back porch with hammock, front porch with rocking chairs. The downstairs is quite humble and small - world's smallest bathtub - but private. The main level rooms are spacious and the common areas are nice. Our only complaints have to do with the kitchen - we eat in every meal, and the kitchen is not quite well-enough appointed for a big family that cooks. For $20 at a thrift store you could get twice as many utensils so people wouldn't have to wash dishes between lunch and dinner. One or two heavy-duty pots and pans would make a huge difference - the electric burners are quite uneven and we had problems with food getting burned. Most of the pots and pans are super thin and many of them had food burned onto the bottoms so we know it is a recurring problem. Some other things like a BIG soup pot and salad spinner would also be cheap acquisitions. The dishwasher was sort of a disaster - unbalanced and really ineffective, not sure if it needs repair or replacement but who wants to have to hand-wash things that have already been through the dishwasher on vacation? So while we did have a great stay and would consider coming back - partly because there are few properties in this price range of this size - some small kitchen upgrades would really have increased our satisfaction.

Great family house

Back porch has hammock that older grandchildren love. Kitchen size adequate. A newer stove would be nice as electric stove top burners are tricky to use-a little unstable. All in all, my family loves this house.

Location is good and easy access to the beach. Sit on the porch watch the water, so relaxing.. Walking distance to ice cream parlor and best hot dogs anywhere at the Trolly Stop. Good place to take family and kids.

Carpet really old, but beds comfortable and kitchen nicely stocked.
