The cottage was very clean and cute. We really enjoyed the single level living space due to the fact that we have an adult with special needs and my wife is disabled. On that note I was slightly disappointed with the walk in shower in the master bedroom. In the pictures it shows an ADA compliant shower. When we checked in the shower wand was replaced with a standard shower head. The private boardwalk to the beach was great. We loved the tile work throughout the cottage and the outdoor shower area. Overall it was a great place to stay.

Thank you for staying at Good Times and for the kind review. We're glad the single-level layout, private boardwalk, tile work and outdoor shower were helpful and enjoyable. We’re sorry the master walk-in shower had a standard shower head instead of the ADA-style wand shown in the photos—thank you for flagging that. We will investigate with our maintenance team and review the listing to ensure it accurately reflects the accessibility features. We appreciate your feedback and will use it when assessing updates.

We had a great week at this beach house! The location is wonderful, right on the ocean with easy access to the beach, which made coming and going throughout the day so convenient. The enclosed outdoor shower was especially nice for rinsing off and cleaning up after a day in the sand! The house is older, but it is still very nice, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals at the house, and the beds were very comfortable! As other reviews have mentioned, we did see quite a few palmetto bugs, but that is pretty normal when staying at the coast. If you’re someone who doesn’t do bugs , I definitely recommend keeping some spray handy!Commutation with the realty company was good! All in all, this is a great oceanfront location for a relaxing week at the beach, and we really enjoyed our stay!

Thank you for your review of Good Times. We're glad you enjoyed the oceanfront location, easy beach access, enclosed outdoor shower, well-stocked kitchen, and comfortable beds. We appreciate the note about palmetto bugs — that can be common in coastal areas. This property is on a pest control program and has been treated. Thanks for the helpful feedback and for staying with us.

It served our purpose but, not enough outlets to charge devices. The master bathroom floor was covered with long black hair (definitely not mine). Tv remote didn’t work, we had to improvise to watch tv.

Thank you for your review. We’re glad Good Times served your needs, and we apologize for the issues you reported. The hair on the master bathroom floor is unacceptable — we’ve notified housekeeping and reinforced the cleaning checklist and inspections. We have noted the suggestion on the outlet and addressed the remote. Thank you for bringing these items to our attention; your feedback helps us improve.

This is a nice little house with private beach access. My parents are not super agile due to health problems, and they needed support on the walkway to the beach and on the stairs to the rooftop. I would have liked to have the umbrella on the rooftop (we found it under the bed) but it was very heavy to carry up there and we were unsure if it would be safe in the wind. This house is probably best for younger people with no walking difficulties. The large dining room was nice for playing games and doing group activities, as well as eating meals. The kitchen is small- so only 1 or 2 people should work in there at a time. There were not cabinets in which to put the food we brought, but we found places to stash items. Also we had an extra bedroom so we put a lot of stuff in there when it was not in use. Bryant Realty was wonderful and very responsive to our communication.

Thank you for taking the time to review Good Times. We're glad the private beach access and large dining room worked well for your group. We're sorry your parents had difficulty with the walkway and rooftop stairs — we'll review accessibility options, add clearer guidance in the listing and welcome materials, and explore adding safer handrails or assistance where feasible. We appreciate the feedback and are glad we could be responsive during your stay.

The house was all we were hoping for! Much larger inside than we thought. The kitchen was well stocked, the bathrooms were clean and roomy, the bed was comfy, and the living room was cozy. Loved spending time on the beach! The view from the upper deck was fantastic, but we didn't spend any time up there (we went to the beach instead). Our only complaint was the neighbor to the south... they were up late and very loud! We could hear their entire conversations even with our windows closed. That's not a reflection on this rental, just a reflection on them. We'd definitely stay here again!

Great place with one large caveat

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, nice home, painless check in/check out, booking, etc. Unfortunately we found upwards of 10 roaches during our stay (at least most were dead or dying). That basically ruined it for us.
Antwort von VrboOwner am 23. Mai 2022
Hi Jonathan- thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear about the roaches! The good news is that they were dead or dying, which means that, in essence, the pest control was mostly effective. However, we can certainly understand why that would be a huge turn-off. No one enjoys bugs where they aren't supposed to be. This is a wonderful home, though, which does undergo routine pest control. Thanks again for your comments- we hope to see you back at the beach again soon!

Great house & location!

Overall, we really loved this house! The location to the beach was awesome, and the rooftop deck was a favorite. Unfortunately there was construction on the huge house next door, and we woke up to hammering every morning. Obviously this won’t always be the case, and this house is such a gem & a little hideout. The size was perfect for us. We had some hiccups checking in as the property was still being cleaned and we weren’t able to get in until almost two hours past check in time. It was remedied with an extended check out time. We missed having a grill to cook, and the kitchen was a bit small but we made it work. We would definitely consider this house again :)

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was great. Owners were easy to work with. Check in/out was simple. Check out time was fairly early considering check in time is 3pm. The home could be updated a bit. Home was dirty. Found lots of dead roaches throughout the home. Also found a condom wrapper in one bedroom and used condom in another.

We hope that you enjoyed your vacation and look forward to seeing you next year.
