We visited this unique property during our visit to Sewanee and had a fantastic experience! With 4 families, we had plenty of privacy as well as lots of spaces to gather together. The kitchen was spacious and well appointed, making the process of cooking large meals together so enjoyable. The shipping containers were surprisingly spacious and quite nice, fully stocked with all the essentials and thoughtful extras. The cafe lights in the evening made for cozy, magical evenings on the screened porch. We can’t wait to return year after year!

This is really a unique experience. Our family, ages 9-79, had the best time. Out trip was brief but we hope we can return for an extended trip at a later time. The shipping containers are so cool, each uniquely and amazingly decorated. Kudos to the hosts for bringing this unique idea to life. There are also many outdoor activities very near by the location.

This was a beautiful and very clean house for several generations to stay during Sewanee graduation. It is in a beautiful wooded location very close to Sewanee. The kitchen is well stocked and there are lots of spots to relax on porches. The property is divided up into several separate suite areas, so everyone had their privacy.

This place was excellent and very beautiful. The host were on top of everything and very quick to respond for anything we needed. The place has lots to do for family and friends but can also wind down and relax. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a get away in this area. Thank you for an awesome stay!

Amazing Time Unique Property!

This was the perfect location and size for our trip to the Caverns! 20ish min to the music venue and situated in a quiet and peaceful area. The home accommodated our large party and was super clean and thoughtfully laid out. Would def return and highly recommend!

We really enjoyed the container cabin! The amenities were very relaxing and well taken care of with easy and clear directions to use them. We loved all the thoughtful details the cabin had that made it feel luxurious and peaceful. The hosts were very responsive! Wish we could've stayed longer to enjoy more views from the cozy beds. Super awesome that each part of the cabin has it's own kitchenette, I loved having coffee on the porch each morning. We had a lot of fun doing hot tub/cold plunge/sauna rounds and getting our relaxation on!We also went to see a concert the Caverns, which was a very easy and short drive from the property, and ate a fancy meal at Judith Tavern- don't miss out on these nearby gems!

Comfortable, Unique, and Well-Hosted

We stayed at this container home in Tennessee for a men’s retreat, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The property is comfortable, well-designed, and had everything we needed. We made full use of the hot tub and sauna, and both were in great condition and easy to use. The hosts were consistently communicative and checked in just enough to make sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. It’s clear they care about maintaining and improving the space, and that made a big difference in our stay. If you’re looking for a unique place with all the comforts and thoughtful touches, I’d highly recommend this home. We’d gladly stay here again.

Sewanee Family Weekend

I was not sure what to expect staying in a shipping container.... but it was fabulous!!! So cute inside! It was a great place to stay with several couple since you have some privacy in the containers. They have everything you could ever need in the bathrooms and kitchen. Great communication with the owners. I would 100% stay here again in the future!

Keep Trails

Perfect for 4 couples, perfect for hitting the trails at 2 parks! Teenagers kids plenty of room We parked a 40 foot trailer hauling 2 of our 6 jeeps in the driveway.!best part are the 2 outside common areas in the main meeting room. We watched football games in style! Owners extremely friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere! Thank you for building something so cool!

Adorable!

This property is so awesome! Not only is it beautiful and aesthetically pleasing, it was equipped with everything we could possibly need. Rachel and Steph really thought of everything, and were so helpful and communicative. Spent the weekend here with friends, cooked tasty meals, enjoyed the beautiful view of trees from our bedroom, relaxed in the sauna, hot tub and pool. The only complaint I have is that we didn’t book a longer stay. 🙂 Definitely will be rebooking this home in the future.

Enchanting forest dream

I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect. The online description is accurate but it does not describe how staying there makes you feel. Yes it is spacious, has a well equipped kitchen, a sauna, hot tub, plunge pool and is clean; but the thoughtful details given to create each space impart multiple surprise moments of joy and comfort. I will never forget the awe of waking up in the mornings, surrounded by lush green trees. A luxurious treehouse!

Magical Stay for the Caverns

From start to finish our stay couldn’t have gone smoother to be honest! Easy to find and relatively close to the highway so when first navigating in at night I was a little worried but found it no problem! When first arriving it was exactly what we were hoping for! The couples were able to go off to their suites and get set up while a few friends claimed the main stay! After getting settled we hopped in the sauna and lounged in the hot tub before playing some cards and crashing. Beds were very comfortable and rooms were easy to control heat/music and media devices. Kitchen was perfect for making big meals and the location is unreal! Got in some great hiking and The Caverns music venue was a short drive and parking was easy! Great spot to stay with your crew if you’re into any of those things! Checkout was easy and smooth as could be just like arriving. Could not have asked for a better experience and plan on booking again!
