This place is great! It’s private and nestled perfectly in the woods. There’s endless hiking right out the back door with walking sticks provided. There is plenty of room and a great open concept kitchen/living room. Big comfy couch to relax on in front of a huge fireplace and floor to ceiling windows! Enough beds to comfortably fit the whole gang. We had a blast! The owners were also extremely accommodating! Thanks so much jacelyn and dean!

Perfect Fall getaway

We stayed here a few weekday nights in the October and it was the perfect, cozy spot to cuddle up on the couch and relax in the hot tub. House was clean, communication was great, check in process was easy. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back!!

Three generations were able to comfortably spread out and enjoy ourselves. The location made us feel like we were staying in the woods yet we were conveniently located to Ellicottville, Holiday Valley, and Allegany State Park, all of which we spent time at. Some nice amenties at the house, like wood for fires too and appreciated the marshmallow sticks! Wonderful family time together!

Beautiful Home

The house was beautiful, the owner Jaclyn was very easy to get ahold of and very friendly. The house came with everything we needed for our stay which was great since we forgot to bring a few items. The house has beautiful views and secluded, we will be trying to come back in the summer!

Perfect Eville stay for peace, and convenience

Our group of 5 friends stayed in late Spring and were so pleased with the property, the house and amenities. The house is stocked with everything you need, with some delights and surprises as well. Communication with the host was great, especially when my final payment declined because I was issued a new card by my bank. The house is very conveniently located to provide seclusion but also the ability to get back and forth to the village in just a few minutes.

Quiet & Peaceful Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. We LOVED the master en suite!! If you're looking for a quiet no-noise place, then this is the place!! We barely left the house in the week that we rented it. We didn't use the hot tub even though it's a great feature to this house. We comfortably fit 8 of us in this house. We were able to have our dog there too which was great. Jaclyn is a great host! Very quick to respond to any questions!

Perfect little getaway

I can’t wait to come back. What an absolute gem. Wonderfully nestled into the woods for privacy but enough of a clearing to see the stars from the hot tub at night. I slept better than I have in months. Getting into town was super easy and very quick. Had two wonderful dinners at two different spots in town and even used oven and grill to make a steak in the cast iron. Would highly recommend a quiet hike through the forest as well. Easy log in on smart TVs and a long steam in the shower made my day.

This property has it all! You can't beat the location. Once out the driveway down the mountain, turn right within minutes you'll find yourself on main street of Ellicottville for a bit of wandering. And if skiing is your thing, just hang a right at bottom of the mountain and within a short drive you'll find the majestic Holiday Valley Ski Resort!! The hideaway was built strategically on its acreage offering visitors serenity of the woods no matter where you arewhether you're soaking in the primary suite's deep tub, sitting outside in the hot tub or merely relaxing on the expansive deck and/or inside on the couch mesmerized by such an outstanding view of nature. If relaxation means sitting by a roaring fire well two options (summer and/or winter) the chalet has for you: a great stone fireplace (which I used number of times) and if you're adventuresome just find your way down to the firepit!! As a 75 woman using a cane to get around, the property is accessible with little or no challenges. First and more importantly of all, I want you to know the host responded very quickly to all my needs. Since this was my first visit to this area, I would not hesitate to return. Next time, I'd return during late Spring or early Summer to get a true feel of the forest that surrounds and a number of attractions that would be open. Our stay at this charming cabin in Ellicottville, NY, was nothing short of perfection! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene surroundings and the cozy yet spacious design of the cabin. Nestled among towering trees and with the peaceful sounds of nature all around, this cabin provided the ideal backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The interior of the cabin was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, blending rustic charm with modern amenities. The fully-equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, and the comfortable living area, complete with a fireplace, was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the nearby trails. One of the highlights was the expansive deck, where we enjoyed our morning coffee while taking in the breathtaking views of the forest. In the evenings, the hot tub was a luxurious touch, offering a soothing way to end the day under the stars. Location-wise, this cabin couldn't be better situated. Just a short drive to downtown Ellicottville, we had easy access to quaint shops, delicious dining options, and plenty of outdoor activities. Whether we were hiking, skiing, or simply enjoying the tranquility of the woods, there was always something to do. The host was incredibly responsive and provided clear instructions, making our stay seamless and worry-free. It's evident that they have put a lot of thought into every detail to ensure guests have a memorable experience. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat - this is it!

Our family of seven (plus our dog!) had such a wonderful stay at this cabin. It was the perfect peaceful getaway—private and secluded, yet just a five-minute drive from the charming downtown of Ellicottville, which we absolutely loved exploring.The cabin was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, making it feel like a home away from home. We especially appreciated how responsive and helpful the hosts were throughout our stay. Communication was quick and easy, and they made sure we had everything we needed.Although we didn't get a chance to enjoy the hot tub, it was a great amenity to have available and we'd definitely make time for it on our next visit.We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the weekend and would happily stay here again. Highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in the Ellicottville area!
