While the property looked nice and had good amenities, there were many other issues. Upon arrival, the driveway/stairs were not cleaned and were covered in snow/ice, which was unsafe. Getting the cars in/out of the driveway was a struggle and two people slipped on the ice and fell. After calling the property manager about the snow, we were told to shovel and salt the ground ourselves even though it had snowed a day or so before our arrival. We tried to reason with them, but no help or partial refund was offered for this unsafe inconvenience. There was only one shovel in the garage and about one cup of salt left over for us to use on the long driveway and walkway. If I didn’t have my friends with me during my stay, I would have been stranded with no help from the property manager to get in or out of the property. There was also only a single roll of toilet paper in the entire house and no large trash bags, only a roll of small deli bags. We had to leave and buy our own toilet paper and trash bags, which should have been provided for our stay. Finally, the hot tub needed it’s filter changed, but there was no new filter to swap it with. This made us worried that the hot tub was not properly cleaned. Although I enjoyed my stay because my friends were with me, I wanted to make these issues know for anyone looking into staying here during the winter. If I was alone, elderly, or had kids, this place would not have been safe. The owner should have been more helpful and attentive.
