This home is one block away from the water in a 3 lot property that offers plenty of free parking, from street parking in front of the house to about 6 vehicles in the driveway.

Great weekend trip

Catalina, the host, was always helpful and so considerate and made sure we had everything we needed. The house was clean and the neighborhood was very safe. My friends and I enjoyed our stay, I would totally stay here again!

This location is perfect for a weekend getaway or even longer. Catalina was very gracious and accommodating for my stay and was a pleasure to deal with. Check in and out was easy and the house was just as described. Would definitely recommend!

Awesome place

This property was just what we were looking for! The fire pit out back was perfect and easy being gas. It was in a nice area close to where we needed to be. Catalina was super easy to communicate with and got us anything we needed for our stay. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Amazing home & owner!

This was a beautiful property that was so welcoming. Catalina went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. She was flexible, attentive, and checked in often to make sure everything was running smoothly. I really appreciated the attention to detail in the house. It had everything we needed readily available.

Luxury stay with all amenities imaginable!

We rented the home for our family reunion. Catalina was very easy to communicate with from first booking and throughout the trip, and couldn’t have been more accommodating during our time there. The apartment itself is stylish and modern, and was extremely clean and well stocked with everything we could imagine. The game and bar area downstairs was a big hit with the youngsters. Overall we found it BETTER than shown in the photos and the location is great for those seeking a getaway to the lake or mountains. There are parks, playgrounds, hiking trails, lake access points, and some nice restaurants all within minutes of the property. We will definitely be back again in the summer to enjoy the dreamy outdoor space!

Sadly, we were ignored and unable to gain entry to the house.

After no contact from the hosts, we drove to the house to discover a steep driveway covered in snow. Steps had not been cleared of snow. I hope that they are okay and not absent due to an emergency- but there were seven of us visiting from out of state - stranded by the hosts who provided no means of entry.

Your stay at our home was NOT approved Due to your inquiries breaking several rules of this platform and your actions not following the policies of EXPEDIA and VRBO websites. We must protect ourselves, others and the website quality and image that allows us to provide the best experience our quality guests. Our original communication with you seemed to go well until then. Understandably, then we had to stop responding to your booking inquiry as well as not approving it for a reservation following with a cancellation. You questioned the fees and charges from the EXPEDIA/VRBO website, then you offered us cash off the platform, as well as paying us directly for the damage protection fees that the website requires from you and for us to ignore it thru the platform following with your offer to give us a check directly to us of $1,500 or over to ignore the site charges on your inquired reservation. We spoke with the site host support regarding this and Somehow you managed to continue contacting us and leaving a retaliatory, non factual public review trying to damage our image and excellent management. This is a platform error since you did not have an approved booking with us or have experienced our beautiful lake rental home. We will address situations like this to protect other hosts and we hope no other guests follow your steps.

Amazingly beautiful

Catalina was such a pleasure to work with. She went above and beyond for our stay! I wish I had unlimited space to describe everything that she did. We had one tiny issue and not only did she get it corrected she was available late in the evening to help!! I really wish every single person that I rented from was as kind and wonderful and welcoming as Catalina!!! I would definitely stay here again!!! Catalina, I truly cannot describe how thankful I am for all the memories that you have allowed me to have and make with my family. Thank you is not enough!

Disaster

We got to the location at midnight and it was filthy. The owner showed up at 1215 in the morning stating she is sorry but the house needs to be cleaned. Not only did it need to be cleaned but the toilet seat was broken, towel rack was ripped off the wall she had a door off the hinges. The sink and counter top were full off filthy dished. The floors were disgustingly dirty and the beds had no sheets. The owner was high as a kite and just kept saying sorry. I requested an immediate refund as I would even let my worst enemy stay there. I can go on and on.

One night stay

My overall stay at the house was okay . The host had good communication and the house looked like the pictures . The only issue I had was the cleanliness at the house and check in time . I kept getting my check in time pushed back because of the guest before they left a big mess and left really late . I was very understanding because it wasn’t the host fault but it still was a little annoying because I did wanted to check in earlier . The host made sure to make up for the inconvenience and offer a boat ride because she wanted to clean the house and made sure we had a good time . So we took the offer up and let her stay and clean the house while we were gone because the cleaners didn’t finish . The boat ride was lovely but when we got back the house still was not clean . Floors were still not swept , bathrooms were not clean , and bed sheets were still not on the bed . The host insisted that she will not leave til the house was clean. I appreciated her help and her trying to clean everything before we left but when we came back the house was still the same since before we left . She said that she will refund me the cleaning fee and the boat ride was on her because of the inconvenience. I let her stay until she cleaned everything. By this time half my guest arrived and I was setting up for a event and she still was not done . Check in was at 3pm and the host did not leave til 9:30pm . The beds were still not made and before she left she said she will not be giving my refund

Wonderful Get away

My friends and I rented this home for 1 night to have a dinner party.. I wish it were a little warmer because it was a bit too cold to sit and really enjoy the outdoor space with the firepit. The house was very clean and it did have most items as mentioned, a few things to mention are. the 4th bedroom is not set up as a bedroom. It is in the basement by itself with some mixed furniture and a blow up bed if you needed it. The pump was stolen when we got there but we didn't need the 4th room in the end, Had we been counting on it, the owner was going to bring back a pump. In your 50's none of us want to sleep on a mattress other than on a frame. LOL. There is no foil or storage bags so bring your own if you plan on cooking. There is a Keurig and we didnt know that. I believe the description stated ground coffee pot. The Kcups on site were too strong. I did find a 4 cup brewer, so we made a bunch of small pots with the coffee we brought. I mentioned some things to the owner just to be aware of otherwise, The house was perfect for what we needed it for and Catalina was very pleasant. My comments above are just for notes to other guests. We would definitely stay again.
