This 2-bedroom apartment oozes appeal and is a 5-minute walk to the beaches, restaurants and bars. There is a fabulous beauty therapist on-site. The apartment has two bedrooms and one bathroom. A private area out the front where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine or beer. Inside there is a welcoming entrance and a lounge/ kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need, and the lounge area has a comfortable lounge suite with a heat pump and sky. Situated between the kitchen and bathroom there is a laundry. Car parking for one plus on-street parking.
We welcome you to our apartment and know you will enjoy your stay.
Price $250 first couple $50 for each person after that.

Older but nice roomy downstairs wing of a 2 story large house. Good parking and responsive host. 2 brms, comfy beds but missed bedside lamps for reading. Otherwise all good.

Easy checkin, good location (7-8 minute walk from lake and most restaurants). Low ceilings (and low clearance in shower) so not a great choice if you are on the tall side. We are light sleepers so the noise upstairs in the morning was a bit challenging.

Great stay in Wānaka!

This location is excellent and walkable to downtown. The lake is only a few blocks away. Everything was very comfortable and clean and we loved staying there. The host was very accommodating and easy to work with. Would stay again.

Spacious unit in great location

We stayed at Gill's place for 4 nights. It was in a great location with easy and quick access to shops. The bed was super comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Milk in the refrigerator on arrival was much appreciated!

Great location

The apartment is very convenient to everything and has easy parking. Gill was great and let us check in early. The only downsides were the low ceiling and some noise from upstairs.

Amazing stay!

Friends and I had the best stay in Wanaka, for starters the location was perfect! Perfect set up with 2 bedrooms, big open planned living and kitchen area. So clean and Gill is an amazing host. Would recommend to anyone ☺️

A Perfect Place

I loved my stay in this beautiful apartment. It was so comfortable and clean and had all the required amenities. The location was excellent with an easy 5 minute walk to the centre and the lake. I felt so welcomed and the host was responsive, friendly and very helpful. I thought it was absolutely perfect in every way.

Spacious ground floor apartment

We enjoyed the spacious apartment in easy walking distance to the lake, shops and restaurants. Easy parking on the drive with own entrance and outdoor sesting area. The friendly host family lived upstairs and were very helpful. An extra bedside table would have been useful.

Our home away from home

We stayed at Gill’s place in Wanaka for 12 days and had an amazing time — we honestly didn’t want to leave. The location is absolutely PERFECT: walking distance to everything — cafés, shops, the lake — and with a beautiful view of the mountains right from the property.The house itself is spotless, cozy, and truly feels like a home away from home. It has everything you could possibly need: a washing machine, dishwasher, plenty of towels, super comfortable beds, and a fully equipped kitchen for cooking meals. After long days of hiking, we loved coming back to relax on the clean, comfy sofa and watch our favorite shows on the smart TV. Both the AC and heater work great, so the house was always at the perfect temperature.Gill is a wonderful host — warm, understanding, and always helpful. You can really see the care she puts into the place, keeping it clean and tidy down to the smallest detail.Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Wanaka — we’d absolutely come back!
