WARNING: this review was left by a disgruntled tenant who caused over $7K of damage and cleanup. he left my property in probably the worst state i have seen in over 10 years of renting. he also brought and lost a case against me to VRBO where i had to provide all receipts and over 60 photographs. i strive to maintain a premier listing as my reviews clearly show and if this tenant had any issue at all i was available for him to reach out during his stay - he did not. i am available for any prospective tenant to discuss these issues in detail if in any doubt.

Hi, Thank you for your note. For future guests' clarification.....the listing, the lease agreement, as well as the home checklist which is available prior to booking, outline that the home is fully self catering except for bathroom hand soap. All Kitchen condiments as noted are also not provided for hygienic reasons and guests as noted should bring their own items. On the other side of it, the home provides a substantial array of kitchen items which many rentals do not provide. Regarding the air conditioning, we have never had an issue with it, but did note that upon arriving after your checkout we found windows and one slider door open which is why some of the rooms were more humid than others,.....which is also why there may have been a few bugs which came into the home. Running the air conditioner with the windows and doors open does make it harder for the air system to cool the home.....obviously. Thank you for the alert about the iron; it has been checked and it seems to functioning, so maybe just a misunderstanding on how to operate it. It's a disappointing review given these items are clearly noted upfront and especially after I did go out of my way to make sure the pool heater was set up for them even though you notified me thru your son and a completely different email chain just two days before your stay that you wanted it set up for you. Normally, again as noted in the listing, the request requires a week's notice so it can be set it up. Regardless, I did go out of my way to make sure you had it available to you. I would suggest that potential renters read all materials prior to booking so you are not left 'scrambling' for items you could have planned for ahead of time, and obviously if there are any questions, I would be glad to answer them so that your stay is a great experience as noted by many other travelers here.
