We stayed at the house for a few weeks in Jan-Feb. The house was clean and comfortable. We only slept in the master bedroom, and the mattress there was very comfortable. The layout of the home provides plenty of space, and I could see it being a great space for multiple couples or a large family. The house is 5 minutes from the pet friendly causeway beach, where you can rent kayaks, SUPs, and even jet skis. It is only a ten minute drive to multiple nature preserves or to the beaches on Anna Maria Island. It is also very conveniently located near multiple restaurants and grocery stores. The house does back to a commercial property on Manatee Ave, so there is some road and city noise, but that did not bother us as this is a heavily populated area and you won't be able to avoid the city noises unless you pay the extra to be on the beach. I walked the neighborhood every morning and felt is was safe and the people I met were friendly. The fenced in yard is fantastic if you are staying with a dog, and there are lots of kid friendly activities in the area. The management company is easy to work with and was very responsive. We would stay here again.

Great home and neighborhood

House was just like quoted on Vrbo. Had a little problem with the pool but once I contacted the host it was taken care of immediately. Kids loved the pool. House could have used a little more kitchen stuff and one suggestion would be to pressure wash patio around the pool our feet were filthy immediately and was hard to not track in the house. But we loved it and had a great time. Went for a walk in neighborhood every night it was a very quiet and safe neighborhood.

The property is stunning. Huge with so many gathering places. The pool deck is great. We didn't use the mother-in-law cabin. we thought ther should be drapes for the master bedroom. If the pool guy came and weren't up or ...... The kitchen was nice but could use some more cooking tools. No can opener, could use some better knives, no steak knives. Over all we would return.

Lots of little issues but biggest one was website said 4 bathrooms and there are only 2. Extra bedroom outside house is useless without a bathroom. Carpets and rugs and windows were filthy!! They had no cleaning supplies so if you're staying longer than a week you need to buy all your own.No window covering on door wall off master bedroom. Was told it was one way glass but I could see clearly in the bedroom at night. Had to purchase temporary shades. bedroom

Hello Pat, You did have a few issues during your 6 week stay that we were happy to address immediately. The listing is correct and the 4th bedroom says detached. A 6 week stay is more than a regular stay and we do supply a starter set of cleaning as it says but for a 6 week stay you would need to supply some of your own cleaning products. We do appreciate your reservation and thank you for the feedback.as far as windows and carpets had that been reported on arrival we could have addressed with the cleaner asap. You told us 3 weeks into your stay.

We booked this property about three months in advance to accommodate a last-minute spring break trip for two families. The home appears to be a recent remodel, and while it has some appealing features, there were several significant issues that impacted our stay.The pool and hot tub were enjoyable and definitely a highlight. However, the surrounding neighboring properties were in poor condition, which affected the overall atmosphere.Unfortunately, the biggest issue was a rat infestation. We experienced two nights of very poor sleep due to a rat in the home. Although it was eventually caught, it remained alive in the trap for some time, making loud noises throughout the night. Property management later confirmed that pest issues are frequent at this property, which was very concerning and not disclosed ahead of time.In addition, there were major electrical limitations. The home could not handle running the dishwasher, dryer, and pool equipment at the same time. This caused repeated inconveniences, including the house becoming uncomfortably warm. Again, this was not communicated prior to our stay.Overall, while the property has good potential and some nice features, it is overpriced for the experience provided. The pest issue alone is a serious concern that needs a permanent solution before we could recommend this property to others.

Oh wow. This is not true and can be documented in messages. This is not a remodel by any means. You notified management that you felt there was a critter in the garage. That same day we had pest control out and set a trap, which caught it that night. When you told me in the morning, we had him back there immediately to remove it. We don’t know how it got in the garage but it was immediately addressed. There was no kind of infestation nor were you told it was an issue. As far as the electrical, the breaker blew one day and you had to reset it. This happens once a year. There is no limitation at this property about power usage. This review is wildly inaccurate and insulting. I would suggest not renting to this person as she is not truthful in reviews.

Not what I expected

Since it was 4th of July weekend, we did not bother the owners, it is managed by a management company, not very happy with this property, good amenities, nice pool, but we were not allowed to lower the A/C, it had a small sign by the A/C control panel letting you know not to touch to lower the A/C, very hot inside the house, also the Jacuzzi, that we went in once only, it damaged all of our 8 family members bathing suits with so much chlorine. Besides I addressed it to the person of the management company the day of my check out and all he or she said, you should of notified us. Very rude by text, and no reimbursement for our bathing suits. I have been going to Anna Maria, Bradenton, Sarasota, Long Boat Key for years and never had an issue like this.

At anytime you experience a less than perfect stay you should reach out to the management asap. As I told you I was happy to reimburse for any ruined items and you said you couldn’t send a photo. Without you letting us know as soon and this happened and no proof of 8 ruined bathingsuits it’s hard to manage this. You did state you would leave a bad review without the $550 refund and here it is. The only thing the ac note says is not to lower less than 72 because it can freeze up if it’s extremely hot out. If that was not acceptable we could have adjusted at any time. We have had no prior issues with the heat/cool of the house although everyone has preferences. I’m sorry that your holiday was ruined but all of this could have been rectified with a phone call or text.
