Stay here and enjoy a laid back vacation. Come, unplug, and get in tune with nature again. Out the backyard you may be able to watch the local sheep with lambs in the springtime, the miniature cattle, or the neighbors goats. Sit inside the kitchen window enjoying your coffee, and watch the local Amish buggies, bikes, and scooters go by. Or swing on the front porch if the weather suits you. Or you may like to have an evening campfire to enjoy out behind the private hedge. Maybe just stroll on over to some of the local stores, Jakes Amish Furniture is next door, and The Herb Barn is just a walk over the hill. Only 3 miles from world-famous Lehman's Hardware! If you want to sit down with the locals for breakfast, make it over to the Restaurant, on the north entrance of the Town and Country Store building. Thursday is 'the day' for Kidron activity. This a perfect location to stay while touring Amish country.
Now the house boasts a productive kitchen, gas range with oven and broiling option great for steaks. Full size fridge so you can shop once. The microwave is for those who like the less time consuming way to prepare food. The kitchen is stocked with a crock pot, pots and pans, waffle iron, blender, mixer, pie plates, cookie sheets, bread pan, mixing bowl, plates, bowls, glasses, coffee mugs, & serving utensils. You also have access to use the washer and dryer for laundry (bring your detergent). There are 4 bedrooms, the Master room has a local Amish made queen bed, with nightstand, and dresser. It also has a closet. The large bedroom upstairs has another queen bed, with space on the floor if you brought a sleeping bag for another person (or you may take the pack and play up there), it also has a closet and dresser. Another bedroom has King size bed. And the 4th bedroom has a full size bed, you must go through the King bed, bedroom to access this room. The bathroom has a bathtub/shower, and hairdryer.
There is a pack'n'play in the living room bring your baby blankets, and baby bedding.
