Long weekend.

Wife and I booked last minute trip. The condo is as advertised very spacious and well maintained. Everything is in walking distance, grocery stores restaurants and local bars. Would recommend.

Amazing amazing amazing! A Hidden gem

I have been coming here for a while and never noticed this place. Everything is steps away as far as water sports and activities, this stretch of the beach is beautiful and clean. We did a party boat, bought souvenirs and parasailing right back there. There’s also a restaurant on the beach but you are 5 minutes away from other restaurants and a grocery store. We walked it easily. The property is nice and clean. The pool is nice also and the view of the ocean was my favorite part. I will definitely stay here again

Nice condo

Condo was nice and clean. Pictures online are a very accurate representation. Convenient walking to local restaurants. Plenty of beach chairs. Communication with the rental company was very prompt and helpful. Some things in the kitchen could be updated, but overall very good. Security was always present and cheerful. Extra wash cloths would be helpful.

Great location

Everything was great, can’t beat the location. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very nice. The kitchen and dining room could do with a bit of an update- Dining room chairs need a bit of padding . TV is very small but we did not come here to watch tv. There was a bit of a flood on the balcony which we alerted our contact and it was fixed right away. Communication was excellent

Amazing beach

We went as two adult couples and stayed for a week in November 2024. Let’s start with the positive. The communication of the management company before, during and after our stay was single-handedly the best we have ever experienced on VRBO (and we have been around the block). Well done. The pool and beach were exactly as advertised, really nice. The beach especially, not only were always two guards on duty, but the beach itself seems to be the nicest stretch of all Punta Cana beaches (we walked at lot, so that is a fair assessment). The apartment was very clean and the whole complex felt very safe, there was always security around. The inside of the apartment, although modern looking, is not 5 stars. And there were a few things that need mentioning, there is no table on the balcony (as is in the pictures), so if you want to work, eat or play games on the balcony, you have to use the lower coffee table furniture, which is not the best solution. The bed in the master bedroom is described as a queen mattress, hm, we are not so sure about that. If you are staying short-term, this is a great place and we got such a good deal on it, that it was worth every minute of our stay. The restaurants in the area are good, for longer trips simply use Uber, that works very well. On the first night, simply go next door to “The View” restaurant, you won’t be disappointed.

Good location

The location of Costa Atlantica is perfect, right on the beach, it was one of our main selection criterias and as a bonus, we discovered the beach of the facility is secured 24/7 and it is a nice feature, so you can go walk the beach leaving your stuff around. Pool and beach have chairs and umbrellas for our use. They are cleaned every day, particularly appreciated for the beach during sargassum period. The personnel of Costa Atlantica are very friendly and helpful, they have made a difference for our 3 weeks stay. Communication with GoPuntacana, managing some of the properties (ours was BH202), were prompt and excellent. They were able to quickly address some of our concerns, the unit was built in 2015. The apartment is vast, the beds comfortable, the kitchen relatively well equipped. Some of the amenities, even if more recent, had to be taken care of which they did to some capacity. Unfortunately, there were some issues that couldn’t be addressed like the balcony not draining with daily showers, leaving us with large amounts of water. « Building people » never responded to their request… so we were left with a pool of water on the balcony to enjoy the view! All in all, our party of 3 appreciated the experience and I even went as recommending it to a friend that will go next spring to Costa Atlantica.

I'm so sorry you were sick, unable to travel and for notifying us less than 24 hours prior to your arrival that you had to cancel your booking. We did contact you and informed you that a credit was not possible and explained the reasons why it was not possible. Vrbo offers travel insurance but it seems you declined to purchase travel insurance. Because of the pandemic, now more than ever we recommend investing in travelers insurance. It is offered for situations just like this. It is impossible for hosts to make refund assurances or rebook for later dates for every possible scenario. We encourage our guests to purchase Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) travel insurance as a hedge against unseen circumstances that may affect travel plans. I hate for both of us to be in this position but please understand that you were aware of the terms when you signed our rental agreement which includes the cancellation policy as well as the recommendation to purchase travel insurance. Our Cancellation policy is already classified as the MOST flexible, and it is recommended that guests consider purchasing a travelers insurance benefit in order to protect plans in the event of extenuating circumstances. If you have been diagnosed with gastro-intestinal disease, medical record confirmation would have allowed you to file a claim for travel related losses with your travel insurance provider. Life happens and that is why travel insurance is available. Almost all hosts were devastated economically when they refunded months of reservations and we are all still seeing a weak travel forecast. As such, it is not fair at this time to expect hosts to further bear the costs of cancellations/rescheduling when risks are well known. Purchasing insurance to cover your trip would’ve been a worthwhile investment.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was great, especially considering that it was at the beginning of the second COVID lockdown for the country. The Pool was perfect!! The view from the balcony is magazine worthy. Only downside was the beach, way too much seaweed, and there were no chairs available even if we wanted to enjoy the view. Go Punta Cana Vacations were great to work with and responded very quickly any time I messaged them. I am looking forward to booking with them again on my next trip.

WOW! Thank you so much for this great review. Thank you for understanding the current situation due to lockdown. Seaweed does come and go and we all know that Mother Nature is in charge of that department. Under normal circumstances, beaches are cleaned daily to remove seaweed... now with lock down, that is more of a challenge. Hey, but on the bright side... the beaches are open and we get to enjoy the fresh air and open spaces. Normally there are chairs available, due to Covid-19, these are temporarily unavailable. Awesome condo on the beach!

Our condo was beautiful & spacious & had all the necessities we needed. The location is amazing & walking distance to wonderful restaurants.

Très joli et bon emplacement

Le condo en soit était très joli et directement sur la plage. Nous avons eu quelques petites ennuies et malheureusement, sans être informé, le complexe était dans un rush de rénovations, ce qui a occasionné beaucoup de bruits pendants plusieurs jours dès tôt le matin et souvent tard le soir. Les électroménagers et accessoires de cuisine était de piètre qualité. L’intérieur de notre condo était d’une propreté remarquable mais pas à l’extérieur étant donné les rénovations.

Best Vacation Ever

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was even better than pictured, location was excellent (walk onto the beach) Restaurant/bar and 2 small shops next door and wonderful, warm friendly people to help with anything. Valeria from go punta cana realty was wonderful. plenty of space and the deck was beautiful with a view to pool, beach and ocean. within walking distance to many restaurants and shops including a grocery. Although the beach was public, we felt we had our own private beach. Less crowded maybe because these are private residences. Security 24/7 making us feel quite safe and secure. Cant say enough good things. *****

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall good experience. The condo could use a fresh coat of paint, a new couch, and outside couch. Also, I was missing wash rags in the bathroom. Washer lid had to be shut hard to get it to start. May need some maintenance in the future. But, great place overall. I’d stay again and recommend to friends in the future.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was beautiful and exactly as pictured. The staff was very friendly (as are all the Dominican people we met) and eager to help. Don't be scared by the electricity, our bill was very low as there was no need for air conditioning, the ocean breeze was amazing. Bring bug spray as there are no screens. Truly amazing how fluent the Dominicans in Punta Cana were with so many languages, I was super impressed. The beach was a little disappointing with everyone always bugging you to buy stuff but over all it was nice. Thank you for a great time.
