Sorgfältig gepflegt, makellos sauber c1800 Bauernhaus 2500 sq. Ft. Viel Platz für alle ... Halbe Meile zu Fuß in die malerische Stadt Franken. Großes 24x16 Familienzimmer mit REAL Kamin, Schrankwand A / C, Schlafcouch und Kinderfußballtisch. Voll bestückt, großes Essen in der Küche mit schönen Gläsern und Geschirr, Gasherd, Spülmaschine, neuer Samsung-Kühlschrank. Es gibt ein zusätzliches Wohnzimmer, die für einen ruhigen Raum Lesen oder Arbeiten perfekt. Angrenzend ist eine formale Essbereich mit Tisch für bis zu 10 Sitzplätze ermöglicht. Sie werden auf die altmodische sehen durch Geschirrschrank lieben! Das Haus verfügt über luftdichte Pella Fenster und Öl Fußleiste Hitze. Schönes Holz und breite Kiefernböden im ganzen Haus. Es gibt vier Schlafzimmer schlafen 8 komfortabel, obwohl wir einfach mehr aufnehmen können. Master mit Kingsize-Bett im 1. Stock mit eigenem Bad, drei Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss eines mit zwei Einzelbetten, ein zweites Schlafzimmer ist mit einem Doppelbett und ein drittes Schlafzimmer Queen-Size-Bett. Es gibt eine weitere in voller Größe großes Bad im Obergeschoss mit zwei Waschbecken. Alle Bettwäsche, Decken, Handtücher zur Verfügung gestellt. Große Waschküche, Schlamm Raum für Mäntel / Schuhe. Draußen gibt es eine Front Porch Ihre Sorgen weg zu entspannen und zu schaukeln. Der Hof ist geräumig genug Platz für Fußballspiele! Gehen Sie aus Achterdeck mit Grill, Esstisch und Adirondack Stühlen. Nur einen kurzen Spaziergang in die kleine Stadt Franken komplett mit Supermarkt, Kaffee, Mittagessen, kleine Geschäfte. Neu in der Stadt ist die "IRON FURNANCE BRAUEREI !!" Wir freuen uns sehr auf diesen erstaunlichen Neuzugang in Franken! Essen Sie gutes Essen und trinken Sie Craft Beer ... und gehen Sie nach Hause !!

Sommer / Herbst: 15 Autominuten vom Franconia Notch State Park entfernt (eine landschaftlich reizvolle Gegend mit dem Echo Lake zum Schwimmen und Bootfahren, einer Luftseilbahn auf den 4000 m hohen Cannon Mt, Wander- und Radwegen, dem Appalachian Trail und einem anderen AMC-Netzwerk Wanderwege und Campinghütten). In der Nähe befinden sich außerdem zwei Golfplätze, Tennisplätze, Seen und Flüsse zum Angeln und Bootfahren sowie Reitställe.
Winter: 10 Minuten zum Skigebiet Cannon Mountain; 40-60 Minuten nach Loon Mtn, Attitash, Waterville Valley, Bretton Woods, Wildcat und anderen Skigebieten. Viele gepflegte Langlaufgebiete in der Nähe.
Jederzeit: Verschiedene lokale kulturelle Aktivitäten umfassen Theater, Konzerte, Kunsthandwerk und Antiquitätengeschäfte. In der Umgebung von Franken, Sugar Hill, Littleton und Bethlehem gibt es zahlreiche Restaurants.

Charming & Cozy

We enjoyed all of the little sweet nick nacks and artwork scattered throughout the home. You get a real sense of a family home where lots of memories were made. Very cozy. There were clear notes left too that helped us find our way around the thermostats, doors, windows, etc. It was a sweet spot to dwell in for our ski getaway.

Great stay in White Mountains

Two families stayed here while skiing at Bretton Woods. Home was very spacious and we loved the fireplace room for apre ski! Appreciated that it was dog friendly too. Host was very communicative and accommodating.

Comfortable and cozy

There was plenty of room--to be together or to spread out. Places to walk to nearby with a stroller for the nonskiers. Well equipped, homey, clean, easy to get to even in bad weather. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect property & location!

My family of 10 plus our dogs stayed in this old, but well kept, house in Franconia! The house had plenty of room for our large group and the location was near everything you would want to do in the White Mountains. Karen (host) responded very promptly to my many questions. I highly recommend this property!

Last minute getaway

My husband & I along with our son & daughter in law and 7 week old baby daughter felt right at home in this farmhouse. Plenty of space for everyone including our golden retriever who loved the back yard. Just loved the sound of the river flowing directly across the street. Would definitely stay there again!

Cozy, relaxing stay!

We had a wonderful time at this incredibly comfortable and cozy home. The internet and air play were great. The den is super comfy with a great fireplace and the master bedroom was great. Another perk is you can walk directly into town and to the River Walk. Karen the host is so kind and helpful. We can’t wait to come back.

Plenty of room and great location

Farmhouse that has charm for days. Plenty of space for a large group with multiple living areas. Most of our time was spent with the wood burning fireplace going after long days at Cannon which is only about a 10 minute drive. Walkable to Iron Furnace Brewery and to shops and restaurants. The location is also only a 15 minute drive from Littleton which is a must visit in the area.

Great Franconia stay!

Roomy but cozy, excellent room to spread out. Fireplace worked great and plenty of firewood. Ample parking. House well stocked and "older house" charming. Beds comfortable. Great location - walking distance to restaurants and full service grocery store, and to the Fox Hill hiking trail system. Good base for cannon, Loon. Looking forward to staying again next winter!

Who needs Disney world!

Great location to all family fun activities and natural beauty abounds! Santa’s village,flume gorge, story land and breweries! We loved staying in this beautiful farmhouse together with our family. This is an absolutely beautiful and charming farmhouse with plenty of room for a large family !

We decided on a lat minute ski getaway and happened upon this beautifully decorated farmhouse. We fell in love the moment we entered. Spotless with every amenity one could ask for. Convenient to Canon Mountain with plenty of nearby food establishments . Karen the owner was so very accommodating with a quick response time to any inquiries we had. We would def I felt rent this property again and are looking forward to spending a longer period of time !

This is a charming farmhouse, just down the road from all you need. The place is very large and extremely clean. It is everything it is advertised to be and more. Great location

Karen's house is in a great location, within walking distance of a small grocery store, a cute coffee shop and a couple of restaurants, and only about 15 minutes away from numerous hiking trails. The house has the charm of an 1800's farm house, with sloping floors and doors that are a little difficult to close as a result. However, the kitchen is well-equipped and there is lots of space. We loved hanging out in the large family room. The beds were comfortable, and while there is only air conditioning in the family room, it cooled off so nicely at night that the box fans that were in each room were all that we needed to keep cool. The front porch with its rocking chairs was a wonderful place to read. The house is nicely equipped for a large group, with plenty of places to sit and a large dining room table. The yard is big and flat - a great place for young kids to play. The house was very clean, something we appreciated in this time of COVID-19.

Very disappointing

The location was accurately described and we liked the quaint, friendly town. However, we felt the “meticulous” and “spotless” descriptions in the property listing were misleading . Outdoor lanterns were leaning over, front porch rocking chairs were broken and there was a dead Christmas planter outside the back door (it was mid-March). There was a septic-like smell when we entered, peeling paint/wallpaper and Christmas decorations (some dead) throughout (again, it was mid-March). The handrail on the stairs leading to the second floor was unsafely loose and attached to the wall with a dowel and a screw. In the upstairs bathroom, there were several dead flies on the counter upon arrival, the bathroom light consisted of a bare lightbulb, the grout in the shower was completely black, the toilet was stabilized with shingles shoved under it, the bathroom floor was unstable and buckled up and down when walked on and a wall covering behind the mirror was frayed, faded and hanging off the wall.

Fantastic Vacation Home

My stay at this house was absolutely fantastic. This is a very special & beautiful home, one that is extremely charming and comfortable. The bedrooms and bathrooms were 100% spotless, as was the kitchen. The family room is really nice, with a fireplace, large comfortable sofas, cable TV, and picture windows with views of the mountains. The family room also has painted wall murals of Cannon Mt and skiing themes which are really quite impressive. There is also a very large backyard where we threw the football and baseball around, and with plenty of room for children to run and play. It was lots of fun sitting around the fire pit at night too, with plenty of precut and stacked firewood. And if you like star gazing, the night sky is breathtaking. The house could not be better situated, with Franconia's restaurants, shops and markets just down the road, and very close to all of the sites and attractions of the area. The Flume Gorge, Mt Washington, The Basin, Lost River, Clarks Trading Post, and other scenic places are all a short drive from the house. Cannon Mt is a very close, which offers great skiing for all levels. The hosts were absolutely fantastic.; super nice people who were instantly responsive whenever I had a question. In sum, I have to say that this is truly one of the nicest and most comfortable homes that I have ever stayed at, and one that I am looking forward very much to returning to again. Thank you very much to my wonderful hosts!

holiday stay

House has lots of character as an older home, but also plenty of room. It was very nice having the two living room spaces so that there was space for some people to quietly read while others played games in the other space. Location on Main Street, but also a very short drive to Cannon, Artists Bluff/Bald Mountain (who could have predicted that we would be hiking there in late December), and Littleton is great. Mattresses upstairs are not new and upstairs shower takes some acrobatics to get low enough to wash your hair, but that was part of the charm of the place.
