This 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath luxury home is the perfect place to host family and friends in a beautiful tranquil setting. Modern updates and professionally decorated, this 3200* sq ft rambler enjoys a fully fenced backyard with southern exposure, a gated, sunny, private front courtyard with water fountain and a long driveway with lots of parking. Lemon, lime, apple and tangerine trees are around the property. Low voltage lighting throughout the landscaping creates a magical nightscape, while old fashioned lamp lights offer additional lighting at night. Several outdoor venues for relaxing, sunbathing and entertaining with multiple sets of iron tables and chairs, lounge chairs, gathering areas and 8 umbrellas around the solar heated (from late March through October) pebble tech pool with a gentle stone sloped walk-in. A large grassy (real grass not AstroTurf) play area to set up your game of croquet, a rock labyrinth/meditation garden with a bench and large side yard with picnic tables offers all kinds of fun and enjoyment for you and your guests.

The interior features a formal living room with a pearlized white stacked stone surround gas fireplace, airy, white slip covered oversized sofa, oversized chair and ottoman with a huge picture window framing the backyard. The adjacent formal dining room for 8 features a large rustic French antique table, camel back chairs, buffet table, standing iron candelabra and French doors out to a covered patio and the backyard. Twin beaded farmhouse style chandeliers grace these rooms. Off the formal rooms is the Turret wine room, additional entertaining space for an informal wine tasting or card game.

Informal dining is enjoyed off the kitchen which features a Dutch door that can open top half only (with a pull down screen) to allow a breeze and sounds of the courtyard waterfall. A walk-in pantry is located here for your dry goods. The kitchen is equipped with spices, oils, salt and pepper, ketchup, mustard and mayo. A Keurig coffee maker and a few pods to get you started are on the counter. The peninsula with bar seating for 3 and new pendant lighting allow additional kitchen seating.

The spacious informal gathering area is off the kitchen and features a large sectional sofa with down pillows and throws. The brick surround gas fireplace adds ambiance on chilly nights while the fan overhead cools things off. The entertainment center has streaming entertainment with a new 86-inch smart TV while the games and playing cards are in the coffee table drawers. There is a door that leads to the outdoor kitchen and backyard off this room. The home is wired for surround sound throughout the house and backyard to use with Bluetooth from your phone or link to your Spotify account. There’s a bar area off the kitchen and family room where you can mix your libations as needed. The half bath is located across from the dining room off this informal area.

Sleeping Quarters: On the other side of the home are the 3 bedrooms and office/4th bedroom and 3 bathrooms. The home is ideal for 3 couples; the spacious primary suite features a California King Sleigh bed with a new luxurious Hybrid mattress, high end sheets and European linen duvet cover, a ceiling fan and spectacular views. There is a door off the bedroom that leads to the backyard. The primary bathroom features a claw foot free standing soaking tub, Carrara marble vanities, Carrara marble shower and a barn door leading to the walk-in closet with plenty of room to unpack and hang or fold your belongings. Another king guest suite at the end of the hallway features a linen duvet and an en-suite bathroom equipped with a quartz vanity and tiled shower. The 3rd bedroom has a king bed with European toile duvet cover and a smart TV. All bedroom closets have hangers and all bedrooms have ceiling fans. The office at the end of the hallway is the perfect place to get some quiet work done, Zoom meeting and is equipped with a queen bed with linen duvet. The hall bathroom features quartz vanities with 3 sinks, tub/shower and a door leading to the side yard. The laundry room off this hall is accessed by a barn door; the new washer and dryer are at your disposal, a starter set of laundry pods (in the white dish) are provided.

Your safety is our utmost priority, the yard is fully fenced with outdoor lighting at night. There are CO/smoke detectors, interior fire suppression sprinkler system and 3 fire extinguishers (in the pantry, on the workbench in garage and in the shed out by the pool equipment). The house has an alarm which will be deactivated upon your arrival and reset upon departure. A first aid kit is available if needed in the kitchen. The home has central forced air heat and central air conditioning on 2 zones. NOTE: There are security cameras on the exterior of the home.

The Area: Nearby hiking trails, Live Oaks park, local wineries including Monserate Vineyards is only a 6 minute drive. Grand Traditions Wedding Venue, Restaurant and Gardens is less than 10 minutes, Palm Mesa resort, restaurant and golf course and the The Golf Club of California is less than a 10 minute drive and downtown San Diego is about a 45 minute drive.
