Great house for our friends group.

This house was great. 4 nice bedrooms, each with a full bath. Plenty of privacy if wanted and great common area to visit and play games. I would highly recommend this property.

We have a yearly plan to go to a cabin as a family. This home was large enough for us. The kitchen allowed for multiple people in the area at one time. We used the island for snacks and drinks with room for some to sit and eat.was too small

Family Christmas

Took our children, their spouses and granddaughter to Galena for the Illuminaria weekend. We loved this cabin. It was perfect for us. Enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and spacious kitchen/ family room. Jeff was very accommodating! We will definitely keep this gem in mind for future family weekends.

Wedding weekend in Galena

My family was out in Galena for my oldest son’s wedding at Eagle Ridge Resort and Spa. Since we were a group of 8 we wanted to stay in home. We could not have been more pleased with the home. It is just as beautiful as the pictures show. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Big house for groups

House was very nice and big. Nice open concept home, great for gathering and hanging out. Decks are amazing, except 3rd floor deck was closed. Hot tub was amazing! While the space was nice, there an opportunity to make the home feel more welcoming. Decor could use some updating.

Eagle Ridge at its best

My family and I (husband, two adult kids) had a great time in this beautiful property. Jeff, the owner, set a great tone as he reached out to us with details about the house on the day before our trip. The house is filled with light through giant windows and skylights, comfortable furniture, and access to great hiking. We were greeted by a gaggle of wild turkeys our first morning. And my husband got to see a pileated woodpecker while hiking on Stony Point. Loved our stay.

Great property with lots of activities near by

I stayed there with my kids and friends with kids ranging from 11-18. Lots to do at the house with the hot tub, pool table, foosball and darts. Everything was clean including the hot tub. It’s a nice property and Eagle Ridge is fantastic. There are a couple great places to eat at the resort and a convenient store nearby. I would highly recommend this property and I would stay there again. The owner makes it easy to check in and was helpful with tips of the area.

Wonderful Weekend

We stayed at this rental for the weekend of the Galena Luminaria. My siblings and I do it every year. We decided we needed more space than what we have had in the past. This place was perfect! The great room was spectacular! So many windows you feel like you are part of nature. Snow would have been fantastic. Kitchen is well stocked. Beds and bath were clean. We had to drop off our garbage at the end of our stay, but it was no big inconvenience. We did have a problem with the internet. However, we contacted Jeff and the problem was resolved quickly. We would definitely recommend this place for a family gathering!

Somewhat Disapointing

This is a beautiful house, but we would not rent it again. The main room is big and bright with a small old tube TV above the fireplace. A big screen could easily go there. The huge, beautiful decks have only 8 very basic chairs and nothing else. The hot tub is big and works fine. The basement has a very nice pool table and a big screen tv that we couldn’t get any picture on. There were not instructions for it. The nice bathrooms do not have any hooks on the walls to hang anything. The final insult is that the instructions are to take our garbage to a dump that is about two miles from the house. For a premium cost we shouldn’t have to haul our trash. We declined.

House was perfect for our group of 9 ladies. The screened in porch allowed us to enjoy the lovely weather without worrying about insects. High school friends yearly getaway

Awesome home!!!! Everywhere you are in this home you have a great view out of doors, making it a “zen” moment in time… kitchen was well stocked, beds most comfortable! Each of bedrooms has sliding door to deck for early morning w/coffee/book & nature.loved that we three couples had private spaces ( 3 level home) if we needed some alone time.. fun pontoon rental to picnic & glide around on galena river, great places in town of galena to eat… don’t miss Otto’s for breakfast/brunch & fried green tomatoes for fabulous dinner This was just a perfect holiday for all of us!! Jeff was most accommodating… would most definitely recommend this home!!!!!!
