Waterfront home newly renovated! Quiet & peaceful, + a 100 ft dock 2 fish from!

This amazing property is located on East Tawakoni & is newly remodeled with new HVAC, furniture and appliances. You can fish off the dock or have a picnic with friends or family. A quiet and peaceful place to relax! In the morning, you will see the sun rise from the East. There may be a bit of a fog on the lake adding more to your calm experience. At dusk, the moon will set and the deer start to migrate from one area of the lake to the other. The ducks and geese come in for their evening feast at the neighbors. If you see fisherman from the dock, all are friendly and bragging about their latest catch! It's so much fun to hear their stories! Inside our home...it's a family atmosphere. It's also the perfect place for two families. One room is divided into a master suite with a kingsize bed and a spa soaking tub bathroom. The other half of the house has the "Moon Room" which has a full bed and the other room is a Family Bedroom. It's an open room with a king bed in one room and a "bunk" (full on the bottom, twin on the top) for the kids. Perfect for bedtime stories, sharing the day's event or just plain family time! Once the kids are asleep, you can gaze over the lake and see the night life of the lake!
We have short term plans (install a BBQ area and Hot Tub area) and we have long term plans. (Kubota mule, complete the boat slip). Any ideas you could bring to the table, would be appreciated!

We have a TV in the dining room with a fully stocked kitchen, so you can watch your favorite cooking show while you're cooking We have an TV in the living room with a high fidelity soundbar. You can actually pretend you are at a concert it's that good and so much fun!
This is a family dream that we want to share. We have an amazing story of a marriage restoration and know this is the place to get away from it all and relax. Such a clean, beautiful place. The host is very sweet and accommodating. Arrived late, she had lights turned on for us inside and out. Left us fresh fruit on the counter and pies and bottled water in the frig. A very beautiful view of the lake. Already booked another stay.

Eclipse 2024

This place is wonderful! It was easy to find with navigation, clean, plenty of space, cozy, HUGE back lawn, right next to the lake, and a dock where we did a little fishing. It's also really close to Lake Tawakoni State Park. It was the perfect location to catch up with some old friends from our hometown, and we even got to see the eclipse! Despite the weather predictions, the sun peeked through the clouds just in time, making an already wonderful stay even better! Before we left, we even got an amazing thunderstorm! If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the spot for you!

Beautiful residence!

This was a well kept property. Well planned. It was stocked with everything you would need. They even left us cookies from a bakery. It's a quiet area. The dock is shaded and we enjoyed our time there. The host was so very nice, thoughtful and attentive. The only issue with the property is the location. Mind you it is by a beautiful lake but the roads(which is not the owner's fault) are really rough. You would do well to have a 4-wheel drive vehicle, preferably a truck. But you would not be disappointed if you book this home.

Lovely home and property!

First off the VRBO messaging was acting weird and when I got to the property I couldn’t load the door access code and panicked a bit because we just drove 6 hours. But I called the owners and they answered immediately giving me the code and texting it to me. The home is so lovely and they had ice, water, fresh fruit, and snacks waiting for us. The lot is huge and we enjoyed the large fire pit, playing catch in the yard, and fishing off the dock. I would highly recommend this home and we’ll be back again! Thank you!

Hi, our names are Mark and Taryn! We have been married over 25 years enjoying family and serving our community. We have 3 wonderful children and 3 beautiful grandchildren. We live within 30 minutes from the property and are happy to help you in anyway we can throughout your stay. We bought our home in 2020 and have been remodeling it for you to be able to enjoy a "home away from home". Growing up, my dad would take me fishing on this lake, so I have many sweet memories of East Lake Tawakoni. We spent many nights on the barge reeling in bass, sand bass and catfish. Those were the best kind of days and we hope that those days would return for your experience at this home. It's a quiet peaceful lake and our home provides a place for you to restore from the chaos of daily stress. We love to cook and our place has a big kitchen to cook and share meals with friends and family. We even have a few cookbooks so the family can find the perfect meal to cook and share.

The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We have over a dozen pecan trees on our property casting a shaded umbrella over the front of our home. We enjoy seeing the deer pass through early morning or at dusk. The sunrises and sunsets are warm reminder that this home can be a happy place in a busy world. We have a grill outside to grill your favorites while enjoying the beautiful view of the lake. We also have a metal table and chairs on the lakeside of the home to enjoy a meal or a great place for early morning coffee watching the sun rise. If you're up early and enjoying a cup of coffee on the dock, you're sure to encounter a fellow fisherman or two bragging about their catches! There are places to eat in Wills Point and Quinlan. From fast food to dine-in. 6.4 miles away is Duck Cove Marina and Quack Shack Burgers.

We have a 100 foot steel dock with a picnic table and benches to enjoy fishing or an outdoor picnic. We have a fish cleaning table available to clean your catches of the days! We have a separate freezer to store your fish in as well. Our home is newly remodeled with new furniture, appliances, HVAC, linens hopefully everything you need for a relaxing stay. We have a beautiful spa bathtub in the master bath where you can enjoy a soak while viewing part of the lake. You can enjoy lake views from each of the bedrooms to watch the sun rise, sun set or enjoy the colorful light decorations around the lake. We have family board games and jigsaw puzzles to keep friends and family close. Our internet speed is 400 MBPS to support multiple devices. TV's are in the living room (with a high quality soundbar) master bedroom and dining room to keep you close to movies or sport games you don't want to miss. Our living room displays a large leather sectional to relax with a throw and enjoy the view of the lake. Decorations are minimal to keep the focus on each other and the view of the lake. There are extra towels and hairdryers in each bath. We are an hour drive from Dallas and 1.1 miles from Lake Tawakoni State Park. The park provides more than 5 miles of lakeshore, activities like swimming, boating, hiking, mountain biking, bird watching (watch for the bald eagle sightings) and many other outdoor activities. Lake Tawakoni is a 37,879 acre reservoir and you don't need a fishing license to fish from the shore in the state park. Our place is 14 miles from First Monday Trades Day Worlds largest flea market.
