Great location! Just around the corner from SUNY Fredonia on a quiet, residential street, you will have the entire three-bedroom, 1 1/2 bathroom house to yourself. Built in 1902 with original hardwood floors & updated kitchen and baths, relax and enjoy the beautiful upstate NY summer from our sunroom or back deck overlooking the spacious backyard. A perfect home base for an afternoon at one of the many renowned local wineries or a day trip to Chautauqua Institution, Lily Dale, or Niagara Falls.

This house was clean and comfortable. Extremely close to campus. We stayed for a weekend with 5 adults and had plenty of room to stretch out. While it was chilly during our visit, the backyard was a nice bonus. Everything we needed for a quiet weekend was provided. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect and had everything we needed. It was the perfect location. My favorite part was sitting on the beautiful, enclosed, front porch in the morning drinking my coffee and reading.

Clean. Cozy. Convenient. Courtney was very communicative. This little house is as adorable and tidy as pictured and described. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and the bedrooms and livingroom had plenty of fluffy throw blankets to spare. The proximity to the village and to SUNY Fredonia are just a few minutes walk but the neighborhood is peacefully quiet.Six adults (3 couples) were very cozy and comfortable during our two-night stay. We appreciated the large upstairs bathroom, the additional seating at the kitchen counter, and the enclosed porch during inclement weather. The bedrooms are tiny and the ceiling in the stairwell is a tad low which is typical for a home established in the 1900's. I only mention it because three men in our group are quite tall (6'2", 6'3", 6'4") so watch your noggin! Our allergy-sufferer appreciated the clean dust-free rooms. We plan to return to this tiny gem in the future. "Thank you, Courtney!"
The enclosed porch is a lifesaver for unloading groceries or bags from your car during inclement weather. A great space for shedding damp coats and shoes before entering the house.
The kitchen is spacious with plenty of counter space to prep, cook, serve, and gather.
The main floor washer and dryer is convenient.
The 1/2 bath is off the kitchen. Clean and adorable.

Excellent House in Fredonia

My cousin stayed here back in October and recommended it to us. We had an amazing stay here!! The house was clean and modern with tons of charm, the beds were comfortable, and it had everything our family of four needed! Communication was easy and the replies were attentive when we had questions. We highly recommend this house to anyone!

Impromptu Getaway

This was an absolutely perfect house for our impromptu getaway to join family who was staying in Hanford Bay. The house is absolutely adorable, pristinely clean, and in a fabulous location! Air conditioners kept everything cool and the beds were all so comfortable. The area is very walkable and we enjoyed strolling to a coffee shop each morning. The hosts made everything so welcoming and we hope to visit again!

Great Fredonia Stay

The house was clean, updated and had everything we needed in a great location at the heart of Fredonia. The owners thought of almost everything you need to make your stay easy. This house was perfect for our family and was miles above a hotel. The location was perfect to get to anything in the area including a couple minutes to Lake Erie. Will stay again.

Amazing Alumni Weekend

This home was the perfect place for a few of us 1994 SUNY Fredonia grads to reconnect for our 30th reunion. Located in between campus and downtown, we could walk to where we needed to be (just like old times!). The home was so cute, very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay absolutely perfect.

Great Place for a Girls Getaway

My two friends and I stayed in this perfect home for three women who love to spend time together and also have room for ourselves. We enjoyed the house and our host was perfectly attentive. The host supplys everything you need for the kitchen, laundry and bathroom. We would stay there again.

Fredonia Getaway

We stayed at Courtney’s place for four days, while our son moved into SUNY Fredonia. The house is absolutely perfect and communication with Courtney was easy and pleasant. We really felt like we were in our home away from home. Without a doubt we will book again.

We moved our son into Fredonia College . The house was a wonderful hub for our group . It was walking distance to campus and allowed us to safely store his musical instruments before check in . We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood and visiting the fair . One night we cooked at homeAnd one night went out for dinner . The backyard was relaxing and easy to hang out . Let me start with the host. She was always available when we had questions no matter the time and always got back to us in a timely manner. This cozy place was very clean. I felt like I was in a 5 star hotel. What ever you needed was available. The shops are only 5 mins away. We booked it for the Caribbean carnival not knowing it was 6hrs from the carnival but it was definitely worth the 6 hr drive. Thank you so much Courtney. Hope to stay here again on our Canada trip as we found out it’s only 2 hrs away from Toronto

Gerat stay in spite of hiccups

We had a great stay, in spite of the power going out from a storm and a boil water alert in Fredonia.Our host let us know when the issues came up- we were out visiting family when both occurred. We were very grateful to be alerting to the boil water order as we were not plugged into local news.Many thanks for the hospitality and looking out for our family!

Nice place to stay- very responsive host.

The house is very cute and clean. Courtney was very responsive to questions and concerns. She stocked the house with necessities as well as desirables (coffee)! We had a small snafu with the keyless lock on our last day- as the batteries died. However, Courtney was responsive and sent a family member to assist us and we were able to gain access in less than 60 minutes. The back deck was nice to use in the great weather, but It was in need of a power wash and stain. We still enjoyed our morning coffee out there as well as our dinners. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable. We would absolutely stay at the property again.

Fredonia House Was Ideal

We stayed here for a Fredonia State alumni hockey weekend, and the house was great. We had no issues, and the owner was very easy to work with. The pictures of the house are accurate. There was snow on the ground, so we did not utilize the backyard or deck. •Kitchen was fully equipped, and it was easy to prepare meals. •The three bedrooms were spacious and quiet. •The one upstairs bathroom was large and modern.•We used the washer/dryer and had no issues.Note, there is no cable for the TV, but it was easy to navigate for movies and sports - especially if you have your own cable info (Spectrum, Comcast, etc.). We would definitely stay here again!

Very relaxing neighborhood and lovely home

Great stay for three nights. Comfortable beds with lots of pillows. Air conditioning units in the windows. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms would be awesome but that is a personal preference. Stairs are steep so be prepared for that. It is an old house so lots of creaks if you have to get up at night. Kitchen is fabulous! We didnt cook but did make coffee every am. I brought the wrong size filter but they had the right ones in the cabinet for use. Back deck, perfect for a glass of wine and a book or just watch the chipmunks and squirrels play. Easy to find, convenient walking around the area, very close to downtown. Would recommend!

This makes me very sad. You damaged an expensive item during your stay, and I filed my first and only ever damage claim with VRBO for the replacement cost, which was honored due to the documentation I provided. We communicated several times during your stay, and you expressed no complaints, so I can only assume that this negative review is a retaliatory response to my request that you to take accountability for the damage caused during your stay, particularly since you left no written comments.
