My husband and I enjoyed the getaway. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. There are some extremely bright lights along the shore, but I guess that goes with the peninsula. The management of the unit was very response to our initial queries, getting back to us immediately. There is no recycling bc the owner lives far away. The interior was cool, spacious, and light. The weather was pleasant and we wanted a cross current of air, but the cross windows were an issue, as one didn't have a screen and the other window didn't fit the frame so was threatening to fall out. We stuck a crate in the window to hold it open. The deck door is almost impossible to open.We did find the bathrooms a bit sparse. There was no soap for the shower, just sink hand soap, bought a bar.Dirty bathmat. Black makeup towel cute idea.Queen bed, which was wonderful, is too small for both of us so needed another bed: they were terrible - one slanted with loose boards and the other very unsupportive, like a waterbed. No S&P, which is kind of basic. One more potholder would be great. Had to use towels. The most surprising visual was the outside of the building, but I think they are working on it.I would ask the management to please put a bulb in the front door light outside. Additionally, sorting out the bed issue would be great. Blackout curtains would be a wonderful addition, as the rooms are extremely bright. And fix the deck door. I give this apartment a B.
