Great host, very responsive. We stay at a lot of rentals....this one had awesome foresight to have "the extras" , paper towels, garbage bags, dishwasher pods, dish soap, dish sponge, it was awesome...thanks for thinking of it all.

From the moment we walked in the house was amazing. This is a perfect place to stay while in KC. Everything we wanted was within a 20 minute drive.

It is in a great location, central to getting to the Waldo district, UMKC area, and Country Club Plaza. Lots of bedrooms, with comfortable furnishings. Hot tub, master bath soaking tub; relaxing space.

Expansive Home with Modern Updates

We had a girls weekend trip and cooked most of our meals at the home. They had plenty of basic cooking utensils and a very nice kitchen. The rooms were nice and big with plenty of space for each member. The living room TV conveniently had access to all sorts of streaming services for staying in. This was a very family friendly home. Absolutely would stay again.

As a family (5 adults & 3 children), we stayed in KC for a Chiefs game. The check in process was extremely simple. The property was just as described, very large and spacious and the grandkids had a great time in the arcade room! There is an open space across the street where we were able to throw the football. The bedrooms are large and very nicely decorated. The location was perfect for all the things we wanted to do. Close to Union Station and Country Club Plaza and very easy to get to. A few things we didn’t like: there was a very strong marijuana smell in the home when we arrived, a half smocked joint on the front porch and a lot of litter in the front yard. The house was clean and not cluttered, but the floors were very dirty. We were walking around in our bare feet or socks and they turned black. There was also quite a bit of hair in the bathroom sinks. Granted, this is not the owners, but rather the cleaning company. Overall, the check in was awesome, the location was great and the kids had a blast!

Fantastic Home

This house was great! Plenty of space for all 8 of us with awesome amenities. The home is beautiful and was very clean when we arrived. Our host was very easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Short drive to downtown KC and within walking distance to a few local bars/restaurants. I would highly recommend this home.

BEWARE: there were several issues during our stay.1. Parking- I reached out prior to booking and was assured that it would be off-street. When we arrived, there was only a garage with a shared driveway (no parking) and the garage was locked with no access. After reaching out, the host said that someone would be by the next day to empty the garage of trash so we could park there. The next day and for the remainder of our stay- the garage was still locked. 2. Roaches- we discovered roaches within the first 24hrs. I reached out to the host, and they said pest control would be out at 1pm to spray and this would fully resolve the issue.That evening, more roaches were found, I sent pictures to the host, who responded that they “dying off and would disappear in a couple of days”. 3. Door Locks- Upon leaving the house on our second day, the front door would not lock from the outside. After attempting everything, I called the host (forwarded directly to VRBO), and they advised me to not leave the property until I heard from the host. When I eventually received a message from the host, no solution was provided and we had to leave out the back door in order to secure the home. 4. Games- the air hockey table is barely functional and there were no pucks. The Connect4 game is unplayable due to a missing support board. The theater room has no fire stick, or entertainment box. Just a projector and sound system. We can all manage an issue or two, but this was excessive.

The issues described do not reflect the standard of hosting we strive to provide and were never the result of disregard or lack of care. We would like to emphasize that we remained in continuous communication throughout the stay and were responsive and attentive to every concern raised. At no point were the guests ignored. Upon being notified of the pest issue, a licensed professional exterminator was immediately dispatched, who provided treatment as well as clear guidance regarding the extermination process and follow-up expectations. In parallel, our maintenance and cleaners team was scheduled to address the additional matters mentioned, including parking access, door locks, and amenities. We take all feedback seriously and have acted and will continue to act to ensure that these issues are fully resolved. Providing a safe, comfortable, and high-quality stay is our top priority, and we remain committed to continuously improving the guest experience and delivering the level of hospitality our guests deserve.

House was fine. Some of the updates done on the house are a little janky. Lighting choices not the best if that’s important to you. Couldn’t locate remote anywhere for main living area to use ceiling fan. Curtains by the back door didn’t even cover the window if you wanted privacy. Bottom step needs to be distinguished from others as it blends into the floor and could be a major fall hazard.
