Terrible

This property is plan gross. Stains on the furniture, dirt every where, cracks on the counters and microwave. Table on patio appears never been cleaned. I have taken pictures and complained to VRBO. Hosts will not respond to me. We did not stay. They will not return messages or phone calls. I want my money back. Pictures on site are not what the house really looks like. Do not schedule this home.

We cleaned

Our stay was terrible. We stayed up the first night cleaning the house and all the sheets and blankets.The house is not only outdated but it is filthy. One bedroom had no light so we had to bring a lamp from downstairs so the room had light. The communication with Ann and Gary is unprofessional and they completely disregarded our concerns as did Vrbo. DO NOT STAY HERE! My daughter and myself came back with our allergies being terrible and she has an eczema flair up. Between lack of communication and the mold, dust, unknown scratches on the door frames, the random mattress in the garage or “game room” the filthy pool furniture, door handles that are smashed in I would suggest anyone to stay anywhere else!!!!!

The house was really clean, it was an overall great experience. However I would if I was the owner purchase new sheets for all the bedding, especially upstairs, some of the bedding was a bit worn out. Other than that, everything was great.

Very Basic Services

Let's start with the good things; it is a great location, close to Disney and some pretty good fast casual restaurants. Security is good and it feels safe in the community. The host only supplies "essentials". 2 additional rolls of toilet paper, two rolls of paper towels and 2 dishwasher pods. In the check-in instructions The hosts tell you if you need more it's up to you to buy what you need. If you're going to be eating in the house, you will need to bring or buy condiments, salt and pepper, sugar if you need it, there is a Mr. Coffee, but no filters, napkins and dishwashing liquid. There are no soaps, shampoos or similar items so bring your own or buy them when you get there. Now the not so good. The property manager, with whom the check-instructions tell you to contact if is a problem was totally unresponsive,. Multiple voice mails and emails were unanswered. There was no Free BBQ grill as described in the amenities. The house was dirty with inches of dust. Furniture was broken, the seat cushions on the dinning room chairs were not attached to the frame. Not enough towels for a place that sleeps 9. A large hole in the wall was repaired but was unfinished and the drywall compound was wet for most of the stay. In the front bathroom there are sharp edges on a door knob that looked like it was chewed by a dog, and slippery leaves and tree droppings in the front yard. This place cold be really nice with just a little extra care.

Nice, family-oriented, and clean vacation home!

My family and I , found this property in Orlando to stay for a couple of days during our vacation. The house itself couldn't be more suited for us: we were able to comfortably accommodate everyone (mind you, we were 12 including 1 senior), the rooms had plenty of space. Also there were entertainment options such as a pool table, cable TV, pool, barbecue, and a videogame included. In short, couldn't be happier with our choice to stay here!

Loved the location. Three month stay. House is definitely just a rental as chairs and furniture were dirty/stained but overall the home was great. Missing blender and mixer, notified mgt service and a couple days later they were delivered. Definitely want to rent i. Emerald Isle again next year.

My family Disney trip

Thank you so much for sharing your home with me and my family. It was the easiest check in process I’ve had in a while, the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful , close to a new Walmart and many places to eat. The house was clean with plenty of room foe my family of 9. It was close to the parks , did a i mention a great neighborhood . I would definitely stay here again as we come to Disney once a year . Bring your own cleaning supplies

The house could use a little maintaining. The furniture was very used, and it was not clean. We found dirty towels in one of the bathrooms and dirty underware under a bed from a previous renter. The location was wonderful.

Renters have not been kind to property. Lots of ding marks.

Property was clean, comfortable, close to attractions. Management people responded immediately to requests. Patio and pool faced 6/8 other properties (not shown on website). Some seemed to be used as short time rentals (one or two days) and some folks were noisy. Overall most respected others. Club house was a plus. Area is pretty with well maintained landscape.

Upsetting but nice area

Alot of money spent and not what we thought would be. The home is beautiful, not upkept, what a shame. Old, very old, dirty furniture. Had to wash all the sheets, buy towels to use, because the ones at the home were old and stained. The game room was never used, there is a gasoline and mold smell so strong i didnt let anyone in there and was dirty, i had to send images to the owner, The dirt overwhelming. Noone came to clean that.No Grill, which was a disappointment. water leaks from the ceiling in the master bedroom. And the bathtub was clogged in the 2nd floor. Maintenance was very nice and fixed asap. The bathrooms were clean, but that was it. kitchen was good to cook, shame no grill. We mopped and cleaned the home, which maintenance should do better. The pool was great though, so beautiful and huge,very clean. A shame, such a gem of a house and not well kept.

The house was in a gated community. The check in process was easy for us but on Friday night getting back in to the property was a night mare. I guess everyone was checking in for a long weekend. Had to wait in line for over an hour to get in. The house is in need of some TLC. Just minor issues that need to be adddressed and fixed. Don't bother calling the Maintenance Service people because they will not call you back. By Sunday they still had not called me. Now the positives: It accommodated our family well. Close to all the attractions. A Wal-mart with 2 miles to pick up essentials needed. Grand babies loved the pool. We would book again.

Great location

This villa has great potential. Cannot fault the location or the resort which is outstanding. Unfortunately the villa does not live up to this standard. The villa is advertised as sleeping up to 12 people, however the seating provided both indoor and outdoor is not sufficient for this number, outside the maximum number that can be seated is 6. The furniture provided is very old, dirty and rusty. The cleanliness of the pool area was very poor and looked as if it had not been cleaned properly in a long time. Unfortunately things were not a lot better inside as furniture was again very old dirty and stained and again not enough seating to accommodate the number the villa was advertised as accommodating. The cleanliness issues around the pool were reported on arrival as the pool itself had obviously not been cleaned. This issue was reported along with a leak in the master bedroom from the upstairs shower which meant we had to place a bucket to catch the water, which was obviously a recurring problem due to the already stained ceiling. After several attempts to report these issues to the Management Company someone eventually came. I could write a lot more about several other small issues but suffice to say this villa would benefit greatly from a deep clean, some general maintenance and some new furniture.

Don’t Waste Your Money

I am going to start with the prices, they gave us a price and they charge a lot of fees that are garbage because the house wasn’t worth it, the price they have us went up like $700 more, the entrance of the house was dirty, the rooms carpet stained, the mattresses are even worse is better to sleep in the floor. The sofas were dirty and stained. The tv’s they have in the rooms are like 15 inches. The shower heads are in very bad conditions, the people that clean the pool didn’t clean the pool at all. The grill, they charge a fee if you use the grill and don’t clean it, when i used it it caught on fire i have to use the fire extinguisher cause it has so much grease stuck. I try to give it a chance even when i read all the bad reviews I thought the people were exaggerating but, if you are reading this. Don’t make the mistake i made. I took my family and friends and we are very disappointed with all the money we waste. I have pictures of everything. They don’t care about the house the only thing they care is to charge the money and thats it.

Shabby furniture and bugs in the pool

Very disappointing stay at this property. We have stayed at previous properties before on Emerald Island Resort and they have all been really good. This property however was a let down. Carpets were shabby, the coffee table in the living area was badly stained and the outside furniture chairs were that disgusting that we couldn't bring ourselves to sit on them. We had dead bugs floating in the pool everyday and when we contacted the property manager about this we were told "this is Florida, there are storms this time of year so there are always bugs"!! We've never had this problem before and we eventually realised that the bottom of the cage around the pool had not been sealed properly and you could see the bugs crawling under it. Really unpleasant when you have booked a villa with a pool, you don't expect to be sharing it with the wildlife. Would not stay here again, would not recommend. The people owning this property really need to give it some much needed attention. We also had problems when it came to check out. We had requested a late checkout and was granted this by the owner. We then had cleaners turning up at 10am when we were told we could leave at 5pm. After contacting the owners they said we had to leave as other people were coming into the property, even though we had it in writing from them that we could check out at 5pm. We then had to rush our packing whilst cleaners were cleaning around us. Not a great end to our holiday.
