Welcome to The Fitz House - a 2 bedroom / 1 bath 1950's cottage located along a peaceful, quiet road in the Hudson Valley - Red Hook, NY. Built alongside a stream and perched upon a ridge, the cottage sits on 6 acres of private land. The Fitz House recently underwent a major renovation in late 2022 and offers all of the comforts of home. We look forward to having you and sharing our little slice of the Hudson Valley!

The space
The cottage has approximately 700 square feet of living space including two bedrooms and 1 bathroom located on the ground floor.

KITCHEN / LIVING ROOM / DINING ROOM / MUDROOM:
Upon entry, the heart of the home is the cozy living room, kitchen, dining and mudroom that has a mix of modern high-end and vintage furnishings that were sourced from the area. Within the main room is a retro style kitchen including a new retro Galanz refrigerator and small vintage gas stove for cooking. Kitchen amenities include plates, glassware, cutlery, knife set, coffee machine, toaster oven/air fryer. Dining room seating is also available and includes a table with 4 chairs. The living room is surrounded by gorgeous new windows allowing for lots of natural light to flood the room while you're reading your book. We also have a new, remote controlled gas fireplace to put on during those chilly & romantic nights. A small mudroom is to the left of the entry door to put your shoes and jackets.

BEDROOMS:
Comprised of 2 bedrooms - the cottage has 1 Queen and 1 Full bedroom, both with top of the line mattresses, linens, modern & vintage furnishings and areas to put your things. Both bedrooms have extra large new windows for views that overlook the forest and stream. The Queen room has a large closet and direct access the the bathroom.

Other things to note
A few things to note about The Fitz House | Creekside Cottage:
- entry to home has 2 small steps
- Ring alarm video system is installed, with camera on outside of entry door only
- doors to bedrooms do not lock
- Queen bedroom has en-suite bathroom.
- multiple games are located in the living room trunk
- first aid kid / fire extinguisher are located under the kitchen sink
- PETS: Small, well-behaved dogs are allowed for $100 per dog, per stay. All dogs including service and assistant dogs must pay the $100 fee. We cannot accept cats. Dog fee is NOT a damage deposit, it's a fee for the dog to stay
