Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway, surrounded by spacious green views. Only 10 minutes from the airport, 5 minutes from Circuit of the Americas, and 20 minutes from Downtown Austin. Situated on 40, you get to relax in the country, while remaining close to everything.
We have two bedrooms, both with king size beds. Relax in luxury with 100% cotton sheets and towels. Even the bathroom is beautiful. It’s spacious and has an extra large jetted bath tub.
This space is super cozy and comfortable. The couch in the living room is nice and supportive for your back but also nice and comfy. It doubles as a third bed with a hideaway couch. And we opted for the upgraded mattress so it doesn't poke you with springs all night. Please notify us if you are having guests that would like to utilize the hideaway bed so that we can provide bedding for you.
We have a full chef's kitchen. I am a chef and I know what implements to stock so that you can cook up what ever your heart desires while you are there. If there are special kitchen items you need, let me know in advance and I can help you out.
We only use natural cleaning supplies.
We have our home here on site. The front yard of our home is an off limits area. So please do not use the backdoor unless you require the use of the ramp if you are disabled.
We also have RV rentals on site. Those are our long term residents. Please do not use or walk around in that area. We also have a full time performance and service garage on site. Please do not walk around or go inside of the shop.
There is a lovely pergola with a grill in the lawn next to the guest house. You are more than welcome to utilize that space. We are on 40 acres and have lots of trails to wander around in and a beautiful 1/2 acre pond. If you would like to visit the pond, its a 2 minute walk. You will start walking along the dirt road towards the back of the property, past the main house. Once you pass the main house the dirt road has a fence on either side of it. The road curves to the left. Once you come out of the tree cover turn to your right, and you'll see the pond! We often have ducks, blue herons, cranes, etc. Plenty of wild life. :) If you choose to hike around, know it's at your own risk. We do have rattle snakes, coyotes, cactus, etc. as any ranch has in this area.
There are a few dogs that live here. They may greet you when you arrive. They are all very friendly and have never hurt anyone. Although it is possible that they may bark. Please know you are quite safe with our friendly beasts. :) No outside dogs are allowed onsite. No parties allowed.
