The location is great - close enough to walk to Old Town but far enough to be quiet. Parking is easy and the property is beautiful. The host communication was frequent and straightforward. The welcome book and information plus discounts to local places was a nice touch. One point of caution is that the upstairs can be very cold with the AC while the downstairs remains temperate. We were there on mostly cooler days so be aware that during the heat of high summer, there may be a swing in temperatures between 1st and 2nd floor. There are fans to circulate the air and you can make it comfortable. I just wanted to highlight in case your party has specific sensitivity or needs for temperatures.Overall, great trip - wish we could have taken more advantage of the lovely back yard and hot tub but we were there for a wedding and seeing family so we were out and about most of the trip. We’ll be back though!

We celebrated our Grandpa's Birthday in Ft Collins and this was our base of operations. The house was close enough to downtown to walk and very peaceful. It also had plenty of space for a few generations. The kitchen was stocked well and overall we had a great time.

Girls' Trip

This was a wonderful place to stay for our girls trip. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us with comfy bedrooms and places to hang out inside and out. We appreciated the nice quiet location within walking distance to Old Town.

Great home and very friendly host. We found the address to be very centrally located for visiting family in Fort Collins as well as for grabbing meals downtown and groceries from the markets. The home was comfortable in the winter and we were able to get the temperature adjusted for both upstairs and downstairs. As far as accessibility, there are several steps and a gate to navigate from the driveway to the front door. The kitchen was very clean and fairly well outfitted, although it could use some more silverware and pots/pans. The fridge was spotless and the washer/dryer worked perfectly. We would recommend this home for other families visiting the area.

Winter vacation

The house was beautiful and even bigger than we anticipated. Our family of 8 was very comfortable. The house had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend for big families or groups. Space for everyone.

Fun House for a Friends Getaway

We stayed at the Magnolia house for the first weekend of May 2025. The house was a perfect retreat for our group and we had a wonderful extended weekend. The house is clean and well appointed. It’s part of a neighborhood with tons of character close to downtown Ft. Collins, and the colorful and lively theme provided a great atmosphere for our gathering. There were 9 in our group, but the house would comfortably host 10. We would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Lovely clean home, very communicative and helpful host. Beds and showers are very comfortable and we celebrated a wonderful Christmas here. The outdoor area was really nice. We would definitely stay here again!Be aware that provided dishwashing pods and trash bags may be enough only for a couple of days -- we had to conserve heavily and wash dishes by hand during our four day stay. So you may want to bring some of your own if you're staying longer than a couple days.Our stay did not have anything to do with a winery so I'm not sure why there are required review questions about this. I gave the winery question four stars but only because I couldn't say N/A.

The house is as all other reviewers have provided...great location, great layout, spacious, nice yard, furnishings were ok. Things that did not go well: the listing says AC but there is a note at the very bottom that says central air is only on the second floor but there were AC units for the first floor. OK so not ideal but workable. We got there on a Thurs night to find that there were not AC units anywhere in the house for the first floor AND there were not screens in the little green bedroom nor 2 of the 3 living room windows so we couldnt even open the windows to cool the bedrooms. The 2nd main floor bedroom (blue) has a door out to the hot tub but does not have a window covering on the door so we had to hang a beach towel that we had brought with us to try to darken the room and provide privacy. The mgmt company finally brought over 1 portable AC unit Saturday afternoon after repeated inquiries about the missing units. It wasnt until I asked for a refund of 1 night that suddenly a unit was found and brought over. The kitchen is very sparsely equipped for a house that sleeps 10 and the kitchen rug is filthy. There was a definite lack of attention to detail that was apparent (no kleenex anywhere, 3 of 4 bathrooms did not have bath mats, kitchen cabinets need a deep clean, front deck furniture sparse and umcomfortable, etc). Again, house is great, beds comfy but given how expensive it was we expected more.

Beautiful home in a great area of old town. We stayed at Magnolia House for our daughter's wedding and it was conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants. the home was well equipped. For the accuracy of the listing I gave four out of five stars because the home was better than the listed described. The bathrooms were luxurious in the downstairs and upstairs masters. There is no AC in the downstairs but even in the summer this was ok because the house says cool. The hot tub is off the downstairs master and there is no privacy (shades or blinds) from the bedroom. So, if others want to use the hot tub in the evening, they would be in full view of the room occupants. The kitchen has a coffee maker with a basket filter. The kitchen utensils could use an upgrade (to match the nice-ness of the home). Overall, a wonderful stay and we were all very comfortable. I hope to be back again.
