About this space
This Condo is fully remodeled and has a wonderful ocean view from the balcony. The beach is located directly in front of the resort with a short walk to the beach, 61st street fishing pier, and restaurants. Located in the Casa Del Mar resort that offers 2 awesome pools, barbecue area, and laundry facilities on site. Close to Pleasure Pier, Moody Gardens, and Schlitterbahn. The space
Voted "Best Condominium Rental 2024" Casa Del Mar has won the award from the Best of Galveston and Clean Galveston, our condo comfortably sleeps, 4 adults and 2 child. With queen size bed in the bedroom with Stern and Foster Mattress and 540 thread count sheets, queen size Sofa bed in the living area and 2 small junior bunk in the hall for kid under 12. Total Sq Ft 462 plus a balcony. Our condo has a private balcony with a beautiful ocean view to enjoy.
It is centrally located right on the Seawall and short walk to the beach. A free Shuttle just outside the Condo takes you to Downtown Galveston and near by resturants. Only a short drive to Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, Pleasure Pier and The Strand historic district.

This condo has been completely remodeled and is extremely clean and well cared for. It is the perfect spot for an island getaway.

We have very fast AT&T Gigabit Fiber Internet for use.

PS: For Cruise Ships guests my place is only 4.5 miles from the port, around 8 miles and $12~$14 to Uber.

Entire Condo and facilities within the complex- we have two tropical pools (one seasonally heated), a trellised Bar-B-Que area, laundry facilities, and Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in all suites and throughout the property.

NOTE: This is a No Pet facility.

From November 1st, 2022 a Resort Fees of $40 for your entire stay (Credit/Debit Card) payable at the front desk is required at Casa Del Mar. (Paid upon check-in and valid for your entire stay) This will include your Parking Passes, pool access, Complimentary Wi-Fi and unassigned parking for two cars in the communal parking garage.

Additional street parking is permitted but can be very costly at Pay Per Hour.

Easy Peasy

Booking and check in was very easy. The property was nice, the view was great and the condo was clean. Overall a very nice little place to get away to.

Matt is a wonderful guest. His group treated my place as there own and left it well-taken care. Very easy to communicate and they followed all the reservation requirements. He is always welcome back to my place. I would recommend him to any Host.

Phenomenal

Me and a friend stayed a few days/nights. Everything about the condo exceeded our expectations. Communication, check in/out, cleanliness, etc. 10/10 recommend!! We'll definitely be staying here again!

Fun family quick trip

Enjoyed the condo! Very cute and clean. Perfect for a family of six. Pull out mattress is not the comfiest and the towel/blanket closet was chaotic, but had everything needed. Had a great time.

Small but adequate

Unit was fine. Very small. Kitchen had what we needed. The pools are nice. It's right across from the beach at a cross walk, which was super convenient. Walking distance to restaurants and shops.

Girls Trip

We arrived at three but unable to check in until four. Once we checked in the room had not been cleaned. Tried calling and texting host took over thirty minutes to get a hold of host. He did finally send someone out to clean. After traveling for eight hours was not a good way to start your stay. Had to wait on cleaners to get there and then had to wait for them to clean.

Thanks of your review. Our check on time is at 4PM and unfortunately we could not accommodate your early check in request. Carrie yes somehow our crew missed cleaning due to an oversight of the calendars , none of this should have been there but once I got to know the issue (within 30 mins)- I was able to send my crew. As I mentioned in my message, this is not the experience we want our guests to have, it was an anomaly and my sincere apologies.

Worst support ever

First property was no deep clean, owner stuff was at the balcony with no organization,We found trash between the beds sheets, not enough towels But the worst experience was the check out, we were taking our luggage’s to the car to leave, and we forgot my purse ( with wallet driver licenses and credit cards inside the bedroom) and the passcode expired so we got no access, we stated using the chat to get a temp password to Tia my bag out, and it still time that the owner has not responded, we tried everything we called vrbo customer service 3 times and no one was able to reach the owner, we went to the front desk they tried to reach him as well and never never responded yo can see my chat history and he never replied , this type of experience is unacceptable I would like to request a partial refund of my rate , we never got any support at any level
