The treehouse also features an outdoor kitchen so you can cook your favorite camp style meals while still enjoying the seclusion of the forest. In addition to the kitchen, the firepit has a grate on it, allowing you to use charcoal or wood to grill. We do not provide utensils, pots, and pans, or a hot plate/burner; those are things you will want to bring if you need them!

About Glamping

Glamping - Going camping, but with glamour. A combination of the two words. It's like regular camping , but with nicer things than usual, being warmer, and more comfortable. Glamping isn't done by usual outdoor types who climb mountains.


You should probably avoid treehouses if youā€¦

1. Donā€™t enjoy temps outside the normal range of your home.
2. Donā€™t like walking back into the woods to enjoy your treehouse.
3. Donā€™t want to walk to your private locked bathroom a short walk away.
4. Donā€™t like the idea that creatures sometimes sneak inside the treehouse, as it is not completely sealed.

If you enjoy the woods, nature, being away from city noise then you may just enjoy a stay in Riverbright.


There is not running water in the treehouse. We do not provide drinking water. Please bring some.

No amplified sound equipment can be used outdoors between the hours of 10pm and 8am Sunday - Thursday and not between the hours of 11pm and 8 am Friday and Saturday.

Please be aware that you will be receiving a link to our booking contract via text within 24 hours of making your reservation. If you do not see it come through, please let us know as it must be signed. We are happy to answer any questions about its contents.

Cozy, private and peaceful. The view is everything, we opened the windows and could hear the river. Everything was very clean and exactly as described. We have stayed at one of Joniā€™s properties before, sheā€™s an excellent host. Will definitely stay here again, we love this area.

Kayaking trip

Another great stay at this property. Easy access to the Toccoa and it was 10 degrees cooler than the city. Always a pleasure staying with this host. Treehouse was in perfect condition. The AC keeps it nice and cool. The staff at Suches Vacation Rentals are good folks. Very responsive and accommodating with their customers.

I loved staying here! The place was adorable. Know what you're getting into: you're essentially camping but with a bed, bathroom (detached), and wifi. But as long as you're into that, you'll love it! It's tucked in the woods, right along a creek. The water sounds are so relaxing. The mountain roads all around are gorgeous. Genuinely cannot wait to go back!My only two complaints: the tub jets didn't work (but I still had a relaxing bath) and unless I was being very dumb there was no way to lock the cabin when you left for the day. There was a chain on the inside to lock it when you're sleeping but I did feel weird about leaving my stuff all in there unattended when I was out. But I guess that's also similar to camping, it just felt a little different because I had brought a laptop to write while I was there.Already planning my next stay here!

Treehouse on the Toccoa

Great location. Great view of the river from the large window of the Treehouse. Very cool spot for a getaway. Property manager was superb with responding to any questions we had.

We loved the comfort and coziness of the treehouse. We were looking for a night of camping with benefits and this was the perfect spot. It is rural with no ATT service, but the WiFi works. The bathroom is a short walk from the tree house attached to the main house in front of it. It is literallly on the river with a fire ring and outdoor kitchen between the treehouse and river. Basic utensils are provided. Bring charcoal if you wish to grill. There are fishing poles there as well should you want to fish. It is about a 45 minute drive to either Dahlonega or Blue Ridge, so stop on your way in for the things you might need. No refrigerator so a cooler would be recommended for perishables. 5 out of 5 from me.

Most everything was as advertised. Beautiful view, quiet, peaceful location. Jetted Tub did not Jet, no lights for the stairs from the treehouse. We heard what sounded like a mouse the 1st night. I located a nest under the floor of the treehouse & message the host about it. Was told they couldnā€™t come out & set a trap because they had to use the exterminator which wasnā€™t scheduled to come out for 2 more days. So I ended up getting the trap myself & caught the mouse myself.

Treehouse getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at the treehouse. The nature around us was spectacular. The treehouse had everything we needed for a quiet stay. We enjoyed the privacy and seclusion. You might consider better instructions for turning on the heat. We were only able to get the AC going. Not a complaint, just a suggestion. Loved it.

Charming cabin in a beautiful location

This was the quiet, peaceful getaway that we needed. The property is right on the riverbank, and close to an access spot to walk down and wade in the river itself. (I recommend Tevas style sandals for this.) There is no cell signal, so no distractions from the beauty of the location. The outdoor kitchen is perfect for making simple camp meals, and the fire pit is a relaxing spot to sit and enjoy. It's private without feeling too remote or creepy. My suggestions are to bring a lantern or candle to use inside the cabin at night, since the lighting is sparse, and be very careful on the stairs. They are a bit uneven and very slippery after rain.
