HD-Fernseher oben und unten und WIFI. Dieses Haus ist zu Fuß zu Fun Shops, eine leckere Bäckerei, viele gute Restaurants, Whole Foods und Lady Bird Lake. Amazing!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property. We came to Austin to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday with another couple (4adults in the home). This house is gorgeous and in an EXCELLENT location. You feel so comfortable - like you are staying with family. Every part of that home tells a story about the owners and Austin. Gems and surprises at every turn. Speaking of the owners, they are kind, generous, and accommodating. We never felt lost or alone in any way. The views from the home in the evening are spectacular. In truth, I was hesitant to rent a home in lieu of a hotel, but moving forward, should I ever find myself in Austin again, I will surely be asking to stay here! It is a MUST.

Great location, great views and attentive hosts

Lovely home - a combination of personality and interest and comfort. The kitchen/dining/den area is particularly nice spot to spend time. We were here for my Mom’s 90th birthday celebration and family that had travelled were able to stop by and visit here, have a bit and spend some time. Perfect setting.

Amazing!

Mark and Jeannie were perfect hosts. Their house is full of wonderful surprises around every corner! The listing and pictures only provide a snapshot of how much fun this house is. They clearly are collectors of unusual objects and they know just how to perfectly upcycle them and display them. It is also clean and well stocked. The location, walking distance to restaurants and markets, could not be better. We hope to come back! Laurel

Home Away from Home

The Hopper Hideaway provided an amazing and excellent home for travelers coming from the northwest pacific and south Texas tropical 🌴 This home exceeded our expectations. Beautiful house and perfect location

Six of us stayed here for a 60th birthday celebration , and it couldn't have been more perfect. The house is large with a well stocked kitchen, beautiful backyard and numerous decks to enjoy a glass of wine or two! It has comfortable rooms with beautiful, unique art decor. It is within walking distance to downtown, whole foods, restaurants and beautiful lake walks. The owners, Mark and Jeannie were quick to respond with any questions and were and so accommodating. I would highly recommend this house for your next visit to Austin!

Hopper Hideaway Was Heavenly

A couple of friends and I recently stayed at the Hopper Hideaway and could not be more pleased with our experience. It was the perfect option for SXSW instead of staying at a pricy hotel. Mark & Jeannie were so welcoming, they even provided a gift basket and stocked pantry! The house was immaculate, spacious, and in the perfect location to get around town. I highly recommend Hopper Hideaway.

Wonderful location. Stunning view of downtown Austin. Plenty of places for gathering and privacy.

A group of 5 women in our 50’s and 60’s rented the house for a 4 day girls trip. Chosen mainly because of the location in an interesting near town neighborhood, we were blown away with the eclectic decor, the garden, and the beautiful views of downtown Austin, especially at night from the second floor balcony. There were multiple spaces to both gather all together and to get privacy. The owners left wine, cheese, fruit, etc. in a well appointed kitchen. We were delighted with our stay!

Adorable hideaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this rental home! It was the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of SXSW but still walking distance to adorable shops, restaurants, and a quick ride away from the action. Lovely neighborhood and hospitable hosts....we loved their charming home. Thank you!

Beautiful and Artistic Retreat

My husband and I stayed here with another couple for Austin City Limits, and this is the most warm and creatively curated home we have ever had the pleasure to rent. The gorgeous garden kept us entertained with bird and squirrel action, and there are interesting things to look at all through the house. We were welcomed by an outstanding basket of goodies upon arrival as well. We walked home from the festival each night after getting a pedicab lift to the Congress Bridge, so it is a great location for the festival especially.

Comfortable, easy, - and breathtaking to boot!

My coworker and I stayed here during the SXSW festival this year. It was absolutely perfect. Aside from just being stunning, the house was immaculate - the owner even left us a welcome basket! I wanted to live there as soon as I walked in. Quick list of why we loved it: clean, safe, quiet, easy distance to downtown ($6 Ubers! for SXSW, we had no trouble going back and forth.) There's also a strip of restaurants even closer, which we unfortunately just did not have the time to check out. The beds are super comfortable, there are decks and patios galore, complete with a stunning view of Austin. It's clearly a chef's kitchen, with every appliance or item you'd need. Dana and the owner made booking our stay, getting in, and completing the reservation seamless. We'd go back in a heartbeat!

Outstanding and listing description very accurate.

From the minute we walked through the front door, I felt I was in a magical place. The phone booth right inside the front door is super cool. Both bedrooms were fantastic, beds comfortable and after playing with the upstairs shower nobs, very refreshing. Dana left us a nice welcome basket and great instructions to start our long F1 weekend. Saturday night we enjoyed a refreshment on the upstairs patio and saw a magical sunset. We took cabs out at night to downtown and had no problem with cabs finding the location. I want to go back again soon!

The owners are Texas natives, but migrated to Austin after 25 years in San Francisco. One is a house stager and the other an engineer, which is why this house is so beautiful! The 2nd story, and master suite, is a new addition added to the Hopper Hideaway just a few years ago.
