Hi Barbara, Thank you for taking the time to leave your review and we apologize the cleaning was not up to your standards, however, please know it was thoroughly cleaned prior to your arrival. Given the "off season" is upon us, a deep clean has been scheduled, as well as a full assessment of any repairs that need to be done after a busy summer season! Hey Julia - thank you for taking the time to leave your review, but we must admit we are a bit confused by your statements. The pictures of this unit were just taken late April 2024, so they are VERY up to date. When looking at the exterior shots, the unit is to the left of the staircase - and there are NO palm trees anywhere in that section?!? We are sorry that the cleaning was not up to par - we send a text right after you check-in (and again mid-week) making sure all is ok and we would have been more than happy to come make that right for you - but heard nothing during your stay. Our guess is that you didn't want us coming out b/c you had brought your dog with you (even though the property description clearly states "Small dogs are CONSIDERED between LABOR DAY and MEMORIAL DAY. They are NOT permitted during the peak summer months which are June, July and August"). We received numerous complaints about the dog being left for extended periods of time, scratching and barking - which lead to us having to contact you. I can't help but think the 1-star rating came from that...

Hey Christine - thank you for taking the time to leave this review. We are so glad to hear you enjoyed the view and beach access of this unit - and sad to hear that you had a few issues during your stay. The palmetto bugs, unfortunately, will always find a way in when it rains (if using those beautiful back doors to access the porch). These units are sprayed by the HOA once a month during those busy months and I'm glad to hear the spray was working. I'm a bit confused on the rest of the review, however, because I just read the text thread that we had with you during your stay and see where maintenance went out and fixed all of your issues (and where you thanked usu for that in the text thread)?!?
