Cabin 3: Very first container home at Grand Lake for vacation rental! 2 Bedroom

Cabin 3: is a two bedroom 750 square-foot home . Master bedroom has a king bed and attached bath. The second bedroom has a twin trundle bed. The kitchen has a microwave, coffee maker, countertop oven and 2 burner stove, and a refrigerator. The one bathroom is small, but it does its job. It has a fenced front yard and a large deck on the back facing the common area with a private hot tub. The property sits just adjacent to the lake about two minutes from downtown Grove. It sits on a lot covered with trees which makes it 10 degrees cooler. we also have a mist system for those hot days.The common area offers a barbecue area, outdoor dining, hammocks, horseshoes, and our converted hippie movie van. It’s sit on property and will accommodate 4 people. Enjoy the evenings at our fire pit, practice driving range, outdoor dining or simply relax on a hammock. It's a safe and entertaining place for you and your family to enjoy when you're not on the lake. If you have a boat there is a safe place to park/charge your batteries in view from your cabin. The ramp just 2 minutes away.

Cute/cozy fun little cabins in Grove!

We enjoyed our stay here very much, it was a quick trip for us this time but we will be booking again when we come back! The host was amazing and there for anything we needed! Definitely check this place out!

Charming rental

The owner Jeff was super accommodating. The rental is part of a little community of newly built container homes. The property had a fire pit, lounging area, golf putting, and even a little arcade game out on our deck. 2 minutes into the town of Grove that has all the amenities you’d need. We’ll be back.

Unforseeable events

The cabin we rented had a water line break while we were driving up there. The property manager was super helpful and tried to set us up in another cabin. It was super cute and clean, but didnt suit the needs w has as we had the dogs with us. We werent able to stay that day and he made everything right. We will try again later this year.

Construction not complete, Not Clean

This place had no doors on ANY room including the bathroom! Place had not been cleaned, floors were filthy. Coffee table had fingerprints, rings from drinks, dust, clearly not cleaned. Cobwebs on the stove. Spare bedroom only has 1 full-size bed, listing said 2 queens. That full bed was not even made, no linens on it at all! The photo of the blow up slide is not even there on the property. Hot tub didn’t work, swimming pool was green. The picture of the bathroom, is not even a picture of the bathroom in the place we rented. All of this after owner asked us to give him an extra hour after check in time to “make things perfect” for our arrival. This place is misrepresented on the listing and was dirty.

Stormi, In the several text that we Exchanged I made you aware of the fact that the unit wasn’t quite ready because of it being new construction, but I would do whatever I could to get it ready for your arrival. Yes, you’re correct that it wasn’t up to our standards on your arrival. I did, however, try to accommodate you to the best of our ability.. To be fair, I think most of this is coming from the fact that I was not accepting you bringing your pitbull due to the fact of safety of our other guest. I’m sorry you feel this way. Here at Creekside cabins we go over and beyond The expectations of our guest and set a very high standard for our units.

Very friendly Owner but property not as described

The owner was very friendly and easy to communicate with the entire time. But once we arrived in the property we noticed lots of differences between the listing and the actual property. There is no pool, the hot tub was not up and running, the tvs were not usable, WiFi was either not available or password was not given, they had a movie van but no way to watch movies, the ac did not work well, there was no key to the building so we had to just leave it unlocked, the floors leaked, there were flies everywhere and a few roaches, the trundle bed had no fitted sheet to sleep on, the master bed was not a king size but a double, etc. The home itself is very cute but not very functional. The owner was also on the property and working on the building the entire time, painting as we came up, fixing the fence as we came home that evening (so we had to leash our dog to take him out instead of the gated yard promised) and trying to clean out the hot tub. It did not feel very private.

Candi, it was a lake cabin you rented, not the Ritz Carlton with all due respect. I was on property during your entire stay and not once did you address any of these issues.. The tv is brand new and works, the Wi-Fi works, if you didn’t get the password you could have asked me the 5 or 6 times you saw me. Not sure how a floor would leak so not sure what to say about. Walking you dog to go potty is part of the dog owners responsibility. After reading your review it seems extremely exaggerated and unnecessary and again, none of these issues were brought to my attention, which should’ve been now I understand the circumstances of you being here, but it doesn’t give you the right to write this type of review.. it seems Orchestrated or planned. You were the only one that rented that unit that had any kind of complaint for anything. I pride myself and providing a safe clean and comfortable unit. I’m on property 24 seven making sure my guest are well cared for. I’m sorry you felt this way but again these issue were never brought to my attention, if they were I would have taken care of them. Unfair, untrue and uncalled for
