After a day of exploring the vibrant culture, sights, and tastes of Western North Carolina, come home to the privacy of your own space to relax in the hot tub then plan your next day’s adventures around the gas fire pit. The space
The home was recently updated with a new kitchen and 2 new bathrooms and is outfitted with quality furniture to provide an elegant oasis for your next trip. The over 2,000 square feet open concept floor plan and large back deck means you have plenty of space to spread out and relax.

Location: The home sits on a hillside just off a small, private drive. It is centrally located 15 minutes to downtown Asheville, 10 minutes to downtown Black Mountain, and 8 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Less than 5 minutes away in Swannanoa you can find several local restaurants and a large grocer (Ingles).

Kitchen: The updated kitchen is equipped with granite countertops, full size stainless steel appliances, and everything you need to prepare all your favorite meals. We provide pots and pans, knives, dinnerware/silverware for 8, mixing bowls, cutting boards, and various other utensils. We also keep the pantry stocked with an assortment of spices, olive oil, local honey, coffee and teas.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms: Your master ensuite is complete with a king bed, sliding barn door to bathroom, walk-in closet, and bathtub/shower. The other two bedrooms are furnished with a queen bed and 2 twin beds and share a full bathroom equipped with bathtub/shower.

Kid Friendly! To accommodate our littlest guests, and make it much easier for you, mom and dad (we know!), we have provided a sound machine, baby monitor, baby bath, night lights, pack-n-play, booster seat, plastic dinnerware and cups, and an assortment of children’s books, toys, and puzzles.

Outdoor Space: The expansive deck is ideally suited for spending cool evenings outdoors in the heart of Appalachia. Grill out on your stainless steel gas grill and enjoy eating around the outdoor table with umbrella. Soak in the 4-person hot tub while listening to your favorite tunes on the portable Bluetooth speaker. Then continue conversations around the gas fire pit.

Indoor Common Areas: In addition to the modern kitchen and cozy bedrooms, your hideaway has two great rooms for games, conversation, or catching up on your favorite shows and movies. Both rooms are equipped with large HDTVs with a suite of streaming services. The living room offers a beautiful cloth sofa and two classic wingback chairs. In the den is an elegant, large sectional with chaise lounge, leather recliner, and gas heater atop a quaint rock hearth (closed in summer months). Finally, adjacent to the kitchen is a small reading nook/work space. Whether you want to conquer a couple novels during your trip or need to knock out some work, this space provides a peaceful environment to support your needs.

Other Amenities: The entire home is centrally heated and cooled to provide the most comfortable and relaxing environment for you as possible. You can also enjoy highspeed Wi-Fi access from anywhere on the property. Although we hope you do not need to do any laundry while on your vacation, you will have a washer (including detergent), dryer, iron, and ironing board.
