You cannot ask for a better view and a better place to stay. Carlos, Jimmy, Jennifer and Jalene made our stay amazing. We felt like they were family. The pool and the view are spectacular. As for the food, we felt like we were eating the whole time we were there. Jennifers pico, guac and homemade chips are the best I ever have had. They taught us how to make empanadas and even shared the recipes with us. Now let's talk about convenience. I did not have to life a finger for any planning of excursions. Carlos connected us with all the right people. It took one email and I had transportation and all the excursions handled for me. Also convenient is the home has a nice van that was able to take us to the beach and to Coco Beach. This was also amazing as we did not want to rent a car. Hands down, this was my families favorite and most relaxed vacation. We cannot wait to be back and look forward to another fun stay here. Pura Vida! I miss Jimmy's amazing drinks and Jennifers amazing cooking.

There are not enough positive adjectives! Absolutely amazing! We had our family vacation at the villa, 11 adults and one 2 year old. When I was searching for a place and had questions, Carlos was very responsive. We had no idea what we were in for...we arrived and the villa is gorgeous! But it was the staff that made our family feel like royalty! Jimmy became part of our family. We miss him dearly. The chef and her assistant had us waiting in anticipation for every meal. We loved sitting together as a big family and enjoying the most delicious cuisine. The housekeepers were constantly working in the background...they kept our "home" spotless! We only left twice...once to visit the rainforest, another to the beach. I can't say enough..oh Jimmy, we all miss your smiling face and your "good morning family".

We had a fabulous stay at this villa over New Year’s with our family of 14—it was truly the best family vacation. This was our third visit to Costa Rica, and this experience stood out as one of the best.Jimmy, the house manager, took incredible care of us. He went above and beyond—driving us, picking up groceries, and making the most amazing cocktails. We will truly miss him. The cooks were also fantastic, and every meal was outstanding.The house itself was very spacious, easily accommodating all of us, and conveniently located just a 5–10 minute drive to the beach and Father Rooster’s. Carlos arranged an unforgettable all-day boat trip on his boat, which was a highlight of our stay. He was also extremely easy to communicate with and very helpful throughout the planning process.We coordinated airport transfers and an incredible volcanic zip-lining adventure with Ever, which was seamless and so much fun (Ever@thebestdayever.com).One note for future guests: during the week of New Year’s, there was no sun on the main pool deck area. If pool sun is important to you, it’s worth checking on. There is a lower deck that gets sun from about 9:00–1:00, which we appreciated.Overall, we highly recommend this villa and can’t wait to come back again!

Amazing!! Highly recommend staying here. I went to Costa Rica for my 60th birthday celebration with my husband and 9 of our friends and couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The rooms were spacious, the pool and the view was amazing, and the howler monkeys were entertaining in the trees next to the pool.The owner/host Carlos was always quick to respond with any questions prior to arriving. He checked in often and even went out of his way to pick up a charger when we were desperate for a wireless phone charger, due to an unfortunate water mishap with one of our phones. He helped arrange our airport transportation and gave us guidance when selecting excursions. Jennifer the chef, along with her assistant, made 3 amazing meals and snacks for us each day and they were very accommodating with our dietary restrictions. One of my friends is gluten and dairy free and another is a pescatarian and they accommodated every meal for them.Jimmy, the bartender is incredibly kind. He always had a smile on his face and was quick to make us whatever we wanted to drink and he never disappointed us when we said, "surprise us". When we arrived we were greeted with a welcome drink and snacks.We made so many fond memories and we hope to come back here again someday.

Villa Preciosa is a beautiful house with spectacular views. Best part is Carlos and his hospitality. The outdoor space with the views of Playa Ocotal are my favorite. Food and service were outstanding. Great place for large groups. Highly recommend.

Amazing Family Vacation!

We recently stayed at this property with family that included 4 kids. I can't overstate how great this trip was from pre-planning till the day we left. Carlos was extremely helpful and responsive from beginning to end including helping us book tours, transportation and being very accommodating to food allergies. The staff were great as well and every meal we were served from breakfast to dinner, was top notch! We would definitely come back to stay at this beautiful property again in the future.

Amazing Family vacation

We had an amazing stay at Villa Preciosa. Carlos was so helpful, responsive, and assisted with all of our vacation needs. The staff is excellent. Jimmy, Jose, Guadalupe, and the rest of the team made our stay perfect. The house is absolutely beautiful with amazing views but the service and food made it complete. We will definitely stay again. Fabulous Time!

From the moment we booked Villa Preciosa, we were taken care of with royal treatment. The Villa is beautiful. The chef and staff were top-notch, nourishing us with fresh, delicious food. Carlos organized exceptional excursions with a great tour company. Jimmy made us feel so welcome and comfortable for our stay. A spectacular place in a spectacular country! Pura Vida!!

Great Experience, Amazing Staff & Yummy Food

We were a group of 10 women and we had so much fun in Costa Rica The views were so beautiful from this home. All bedrooms have ocean views and the staff was so in service:) The meals were amazing -- We had space to dance and sing at night and swim during the day on the pretty lanai. We also rented the boat and had a super fun experience with lovely snacks and dolphins swimming next to the boat on our return.

Paradise

Cannot overstate how perfect our vacation has been! The villa and pool is spectacular and the views are amazing! But the best part was the staff. Carlos took care with all the details for a worry free vacation and outings. The meals were such a delight and they were all so friendly and accommodating! Thank you Jimmy, Jose, Guadeloupe. The villa was kept spotless by Carol and Blanca! Best vacation ever!

Unbelievable house and view. The staff was fantastic and all the food was great. Carlos was easy to communicate with before the trip and helped us with excursions. Jimmy in the house made the best drinks and really added to the overall experience, helping us with whatever we needed. Couldn’t be happier about it all

When I moved to Costa Rica from Spain, I thought about buying a small hotel but what I really wanted was to offer to my clients a very personalize service, a great place, very private and with an excellent service and food where they could stay during their vacation in Costa Rica and not have to worry about a thing beside enjoying their vacation. Then it came out the idea of buying Villa Preciosa Resort, a large and luxury house with all the potencial to make a memorable vacation to my clients.
