The Bears Den is a quiet cabin 30 miles from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, TN.

The Bears Den has 3 bedrooms, 9 beds, a queen sofa bed. The Master has a king bed and a set of bunk beds. The Queen room has a set of bunks with a Queen on the bottom and a twin on top. The third bedroom has two bunks with a total of 4 twin size beds. We are 4 miles from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, and a mere 30 miles from Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge and Sevierville, Tennessee. The front porch is very large and has a beautiful view. The yard is very big. There are walking trails up the mountain and through the Cherokee National Forest. We provide sheets, towel & washcloths, shampoo, shower gel, toilet paper, paper towels, central air/heat, pots and pans, plates, cups, utensils, coffee maker, Keurig, an air fryer, microwave, stove, refrigerator, baking supplies, outdoor grills, charcoal and lighter fluid, a fire pit with wood to burn, some water soda and snacks, and games for the kids. We even have a few things there like toothbrushes, toothpaste, charging cords, combs, in the event you forget something. There are hiking trails up behind the cabin through the mountain. Come visit us in beautiful Tennessee.

This was one of the most welcoming places we have rented. We stayed here for a night on our way to Alabama. There was so much thoughtfulness and attention to the little details that make your stay welcoming. Every room was well thought out and family oriented. Cabin was adorable, pictures do not do it justice. The property was peaceful with lots of dpace for the kids and dogs to run around and play. The hosts were amazing and had everything you could need in the cabin. We will be mamimg this cabin a part of our yearly trips for sure! The kids were begging to come back next year.

This place is great. After a long day on the road we just need a place to rest and make a hot meal. We got so much more. This home was inviting, exciting, and really a treat. It had everything we could have asked for. Owners were very timely with communication. The deck looking out over the lawn and trees was superb. Decorations were fantastic. The best cabin

We loved everything about this property! The cabin was so cozy and felt like home away from home! We planned our stay to host our wedding and couldn’t have imagined a better location! Quiet mountain escape

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy cabin tucked away from the main tourist spots. It was comfortable with many extra food items, snacks and other little extras that made being away from home feel more like home. Beautiful area and not too far from all the places you'll want to visit. Excellent value for what you get.

The comfort of grandma's

We enjoyed staying in this home. The place was clean, comfortable, and reminded me of staying at my Grandma's home. The hosts were so kind and generous. They not only accommodated our request for an early check-in, when we entered the home we were welcomed to cold drinks in the fridge, snacks, and a welcome gift! We would stay again in a heartbeat if we ever travel to this area again.

Quick family trip

We had a great time! This was large enough to cover 11 but had room for more. There was a fast turn around with communication. The place was quaint and quite and perfect for a short or extended stay! I loved that they went out of their way to make their guests feel so welcomed! The location is perfect to keep close to Pigeon Forge but not have to fight that traffic! Loved it.We make several trips a year to the area and definitely will be reserving this unit again in the future. Thank you kindly to our hosts!

Quiet Place in the Woods

We needed to stay just one night so we had a place to crash after a family wedding when we arrived we were quite surprised. We use VRBO’s a lot and this place by far was the best we have stayed for awhile. Everything was fully stocked from food, snacks, and a binder explaining everything. Very clean and quiet but yet close enough to all the attractions in the area. I would recommend this spot to anyone coming to the area.

Amazing quiet cabin

Me and my family had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin out in Newport Tennessee. They provided so many amenities that I've never seen anywhere else I have stayed before! Just like staying in someone's actual house. I regret we couldn't make our stay longer but maybe next time! The only thing I could say has room for improvement is the water pressure kind of goes in and out but other than that it was perfect.

Little piece of heaven

This was such a pleasant surprise. There is literally nothing the host hasn’t thought of and provided for a wonderful stay. Secluded, clean, beautiful. Plenty of room for lots of people, games, fire, everything. I will absolutely be back. Couldn’t ask for more.

Absolutely LOVED Our Stay!

The pictures online don't do this place justice. It's absolutely beautiful and we LOVED our stay. This home is such a great family friendly and friendly oriented place. The owners were absolutely amazing and so sweet. It was so homey and welcoming. Already planning our next family vacation to come stay again. Highly recommend anyone who's looking to stay here to do so. We had 10 people total. It was my husband and I with our 8 kids (ages 19 down to 3) and we ALL loved staying here. Thank you again for everything!!!

Bear’s Den 😉

Came up from SC on Wednesday to find a nice place off the beaten path with good host experience from having amenities that are always forgotten such as chargers and cords for phones, etc. so many small amenities that were well thought out. It was 4 days of enjoyable family time that I wouldn’t trade for anything! Thanks to our most gracious host! Hope to see the “Den” again in the future!

Well supplied Den

The property is near I40 so easy to get to. Secluded but things close by. The owner has lots of extra stuff like pancake mix, eggs, sodas, all the spices and condiments. Lots of beds. We were not sure where the 4 bedroom was but we figured it was the one with fireplace. Nice deck and porch. Love it!!
