Perfect location and easy beach proximity!

Perfect lodging for the quick weekend getaway. Very short walk to the beach, and we had a wonderful time. Could have maybe used an extra quilted blanket to pad the futon, but other than that... it was affordable, very clean, the host is extremely kind and attentive, and we would not hesitate to stay again.

Great stay

Very clean and cute place. Owner was great. Location to beach was perfect. Unfortunately some surrounding restaurants are still closed but the place next door is great. Owner provided chairs and beach towels so very convenient. The only recommendation would be adding fire table or heaters for the cool nights and morning. We loved it.

Perfect for us!

We loved the idea of staying in a cozy motel. Judy was a kind hostess and the room was so clean! We loved the quiet and calm neighborhood…and fell in love with the restaurant next door.

Best accomodations on the West Coast

Clean, comfortable and affordable efficiencies. Right next door to beach and public parking. The owner, couldn't be more accommodating, thank you, Judy! Loved staying here! Redington Shores is the best beach around and has been our go-to beach for over 37 years!

Wonderful stay great location

Location is great for walking to the beach and nearby restaurants. The property was very clean, nice, and up to date. Everything you need for your stay is provided (including beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, etc). Judy was really nice and provided fresh towels when requested. The Carousel Motel is a hidden gem and I can’t wait to return!

Great Place & Affordable

My sister and stayed here for a kid free extended weekend get away to the beach from Wisconsin first weekend in May. Was absolutely great place to stay for a relaxing weekend and couldnt beat the price either. Beach was a minute walk and with the restaurant right next door made for a quick easy lunch or dinner. The room was perfect and clean, and the sitting area right outside the door was great for just sitting outside if you didn’t want to walk to the beach. The owner was great, super nice and fun to talk with. Would definitely recommend and hope to go again. Thanks for everything!

Great location

Judy is an excellent owner and lives on site. Many units are rented fro weeks at a time so folks get to know each other and are very friendly. The location if excellent. Once block from beach access and stores and restaurants in walking or easy driving distance. Highly recommend.

This property is close to the beach. The property provides numerous beach needs (chairs, umbrellas, etc.). The property manager, Judy, was friendly and professional. The property is showing its age, but it was fine for the price.

We felt our room and some of the furniture could be updated. Particle board furniture is falling apart. Acouple of standing racks in the closet would be helpful for suitcases. Just needs some updating!

Perfect Beach Getaway

Wir waren sehr., sehr zufrieden. Die Besitzerin Judy, ist sehr liebensvolle Frau, die App. sind Tipp Top sauber, zum Strand 2 Min. Sonnenschirme, Strandliegen, Strandhandtücher wird von Judy bereitgestellt. Wir sagen DANKE an Judy, wir waren 1 Monat da und sehr genossen. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen.

Carousel Motel

Some simple room repairs are needed. I would have preferred the sleeping area be more private. I had the room closest to the 4 lane street so lots of traffic noise and I could hear people talking as they walked by on the street. Also, my room location looked out at the parking lot instead of the green area, which is deceiving from what you see online. **One week before I was to arrive I was informed my room was overbooked and that created a length of stay issue for me. I booked for all of February and was contacted and asked to only stay for 3 weeks, to Feb 20, or cancel completely for a full refund. I said that was unacceptable and it needed to be fixed. My stay was then offered until Feb 26, which I accepted. I left 1 week early anyway because I simply wasn't happy with the accommodations and wanted to return home. Jitka is a very wonderful and pleasant person/hostess/manager of the motel. She was always available to speak with and was very prompt in requests for needed supplies.

Just what we needed

This little studio had everything we needed! Cute little court yard and a good bar n grill next door and the beach is just steps away. Best of all, it fit our tight budget for an spontaneous 5 day Memorial Day weekend trip. Definately one of our new favorite beach places!

Nice, low key, quiet, clean, no frills and right by the beach

We really enjoyed our stay - the place was just as pictured and very clean. For more than two adults and a child, this would be a tight fit but we were fine. Kitchen well equipped - even wine bottle opener! A/c was a large window unit but more than cold enough for area. Beach towels and chairs were available for use. Right next door is a perfect little bar and grill for dinner. Parking in front was a little tight but go around block to back and parking much easier. Management was pleasant, very hospitable and unobtrusive. Super short walk through parking lot of beach access area - with showers and restroom - and you are on the beach. For the price, this cannot be beat.

Clean and comfortable

The room was perfect for what we needed. While the room could use some updating, it was very clean and comfortable for my husband and me. We had everything we needed. The beach was a very short walk and there were restaurants located near by. The owner was very nice.

Excellent location!

We had a wonderful month here! Location is perfect - two minute walk to the amazing beach. Judy was very helpful, so friendly - couldn't ask for a better owner / manager. Very clean, full kitchen allowed us to prepare all our meals, comfortable bed! What more could you ask for for a month of Florida sunshine! Thank you!!

Clean, affordable beach stay

This was a nice little affordable place to stay for the two of us to be close to the beach. While it is not right on the water, it's just a short walk across a parking lot, with no need to cross the main beach road. Our room looked out on a beautiful courtyard garden. The room and the property was clean and well equipped for cooking our own meals. Beach chairs and some beach toys were provided. We liked that the motel was in a tiny neighborhood, surrounded by homes and parks. Every evening we were entertained by the beautiful colors of the setting sun. Judy was a wonderful host. We would and will stay there again.
