"Mountain Laurel Lookout" is a beautiful chalet with AMAZING views of the Smoky Mountains year-round and located in the stunning Gatlinburg area. The chalet offers paved roads all the way to the cabin with parking for 2 cars comfortably. This adorable chalet is a 2-bedroom 1-bathroom that will sleep 6 and is 2 stories. You will be amazed when you step inside with all the amenities you could ask for in your home away from home.
Entering into the Living room to be ready to be taken back by all the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the breathtaking mountain views. The living room will give you natural lighting to enjoy while being astonished by the mountains feeling right in your lap, just kick back on the comfy couch or loveseat after a long day of sight-seeing and take in all the mountains have to offer. On those cool winter nights curled up in front of the electric fireplace while watching your favorite show on the flat-screen TV. Just off the living room is a lovely porch for those mornings or evenings where you just want to sit and take in nature around. Take a dip in the ready to go Hot Tub to soak all your aching muscles. Adjacent to the living room is the fully equipped kitchen and dining for 4 guests. There is also the washer and dryer tucked away nicely in a closet on this level. Just through the living room is the main floor master King suite with an ensuite bathroom featuring a jacuzzi tub and a walk in shower.
What would be better than waking up every morning looking out at the mountains? In the upstairs loft, which is open to below, you will find the 2nd bedroom. In this bedroom, you will have a Queen-size bed with mountain views that will make anyone smile. "Mountain Laurel Lookout" encourages relaxation and family time both inside and outside. Enjoy your morning coffee while sitting on the front deck taking in the views. If you enjoy cooking out, there is a Charcoal grill for your use, just bring your favorite food to grill and then you're ready to go. Loved our stay here! Had issues with the door code when we arrived but were able to call and get it resolved very quick! The location was perfect, the view was amazing, the cabin itself was clean and very roomy.

Great Place

The overall experience was great! The view is wonderful and we certainly had everything we needed. Cosmetics of the house were a little unexpected, however, I should have expected this given it is a cabin still after all!

Nice house

Had a few issues at first with the toilet and the deck support is sketchy, but overall a good cabin to stay in for a family of 4.

Outside door was broken & unlocked, hot tub- jets wouldn’t come on, bedroom door frame off & wouldn’t lock. No special details- no working batteries in candles, no hair dryer, driveway was dangerous at night bc no lights & 110 degrees turn. This was our honeymoon very disappointing, 300 a night????

Everything was great!

The property was very clean. It rained several days while we were there, so we did not sit out on the deck much, but we still used the hot tub every day. The only thing I didn't like was that there is only one bathroom, and it is situated off of the master bedroom, so family members have to walk through the bedroom to use the bathroom. Not a major problem, just a minor inconvenience. Lastly, the driveway is pretty steep (which is not uncommon for a mountainous area) so make sure your vehicle can handle that.

Best for a party of 2

Cute, quiet and great proximity to town. Has room to sleep six but is much better suited for 2 people. 2 rocking chairs on the deck. Hot tub will only seat 2 people. Access to bathroom is through the bedroom. Downstairs bedroom could use a new mattress. Great solid wood dresser but the rails need a good waxing to make opening and closing of the drawers way easier. Property owners need to address the leak under the bathroom sink. Placing a hand towel under the leak as they have causes a lovely musty smell when walking into the cabin. Gutter downspout by the side door needs its missing part replaced. Sliding glass door needs to have the handle secured.
