Unsere Kabine verfügt über 4 Schlafzimmer und 2. 5 Badezimmer, die problemlos für 12 Erwachsene geeignet sind - Erdgeschoss mit 3 Schlafzimmern (jeweils 1 Queensize-Bett), einem Hauptbadezimmer und einem eigenen Badezimmer; Im Erdgeschoss gibt es ein größeres Schlafzimmer (1 Queen-Size-Bett und ein Etagenbett), ein halbes Badezimmer und ein gemütliches Familienzimmer. Nach einem langen Abenteuertag können Sie im Whirlpool entspannen (5-7pp), sich an einem Kamin aus echtem Holz aufwärmen, Billard (8 Fuß Schiefer) und verschiedene Brettspiele spielen oder einen Film in einer 51-Fuß-Wohnung anschauen Bildschirmfernsehen mit ROCKU im Familienzimmer oder Smart-TV im Erdgeschoss. Setzen Sie sich auf das Deck und entspannen Sie sich, indem Sie verschiedene Vögel und Wildtiere (viele Hirsche) beobachten und lauschen oder einfach nur etwas Zeit genießen.

- Der HICKORY RUN STATE PARK (kostenlos, 15 Minuten entfernt), der sich über die Pocono Mountains erstreckt, unterstützt viele Aktivitäten, von denen einige saisonal variieren. Während der Sommermonate können Sie im Sand Spring Lake schwimmen, der teilweise von einem riesigen Sandstrand (Duschen vorhanden) gesäumt ist. Hier finden Sie Grünflächen für Spiele, Picknickplätze, einen Food Court, viele Wanderwege und Wasserfälle. Im Winter kann der zugefrorene See zum Eislaufen genutzt werden. Saisonale Jagd ist in vielen Bereichen des Parks erlaubt, mit Weißwedelhirschen, Schwarzbären und Eichhörnchen im Wild, die legal gejagt werden dürfen.

-Towamensing Trails Gemeinschaft Annehmlichkeiten bieten einen 190 Hektar großen See, der einen entspannenden Sandstrand mit Rettungsschwimmbereich, Bootsverleih, Volleyballfeld und Spielplatz sowie einen Outdoor-Gemeinschaftspool, Community Center, Spielzimmer, Deck, Pavillon, Basketballplatz hat und Tennisplätze und der Yachthafen. Im Sommer können Boote und Tretboote gemietet werden (für das Angeln ist ein PA-Angelschein erforderlich). Der Außenpool ist zwischen dem Memorial Day und dem Labor Day geöffnet. Unser Ferienhaus ist 3-4 Autominuten von den Gemeinschaftsanlagen entfernt.

The cabin is gorgeous. It was very clean & cozy. This was the perfect place for my roommate & myself to just get away from everything & relax. It is also very family friendly, so we definitely would love to come back with some of our loved ones. We enjoyed the pool table in the basement/family room. The hot tub was very well maintained & was awesome to relax in while looking at snow resting on everything around us. The deer often walk around by the side & front of the house. The host was always very polite & got back to me right away to answer any questions or concerns I had. Highly recommend this cabin because it really was a great weekend vacation for us.

Enjoyable stay!

The layout and offerings at this property were perfect for our family of 4 for a weekend trip. We enjoyed having access to the outdoor patio areas as well as the hot tub and pool table. The house is far enough from the neighbors to have a private escape.

Perfect getaway

Great place at a perfect price. Everything was as described and a dollar store about as close as it could be in the Poconos for anything forgotten. We enjoyed our weekend and could have invited more guests to join us, this house has plenty of rooms and beds.

The house was perfect and more spacious than the pictures show. There was plenty of room and beds for our group, with room for more if needed! The hot tub was very relaxing and a huge plus. Would definitely return as the place was super clean and cozy.

The best experience (10/10)

We stayed for a long weekend, a last-minute decision on our end. The host was very responsive and made the process seamless. The property was fantastically well-maintained and clean. The house had a space for everyone: an open-concept floor plan, a screened-in porch, and a hot tub, among other amenities. The neighborhood was centrally located to all the activities the Poconos have to offer. The area was safe and quiet, perfect for a getaway. We often use vacation rentals, and this house was the best in terms of organization, instructions, and layout for vacation rentals. I did not have to spend time figuring out how things work. We are very happy with our experience and would highly recommend this property.

Exceptional Getaway from NYC for NYE

A group of friends and myself spent our NYE holiday in this cozy cabin in the Poconos. I have to say that the photos definitely don't do this house justice. Plenty of space for everyone and enough to keep us entertained for 3 days. Neighborhood was very quaint and conveniently located amongst some of the Poconos biggest attractions. Couldn't imagine bringing in the New Year anywhere else, while being so close to NYC.

Quiet, Family Retreat

Our family had a great stay at this house! From the moment we booked, the host was incredibly responsive and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The house itself was immaculate and had everything we could possibly need. The game room was a hit with everyone, especially on the rainy days, and we loved spending time on the screened-in porch enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The detailed instructions left by the host made check-in and check-out a breeze, which was much appreciated. The house is situated in driving distance to community amenities, however it is in a quiet part of the community, offering the perfect retreat. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and will definitely be returning!

Nice house in the woods

I was drawn to this property not only because it was nice, but because I liked the set up. I also liked that I was able to bring our dog with us. This place offers 3 bedrooms with Queen beds (with a space downstairs for more adults or children.) Which was perfect for 3 adult couples. The neighborhood is quiet and well maintained. My only small complaint is that you have to bring your own linens and towels if you don't want to purchase them separately. We were also only 10 minutes from Pocono Whitewater Rafting. Overall, this house was perfect for what we needed!

Wonderful weekend getaway!

This was the perfect property for our weekend getaway. We stayed with 4 adults and 6 kids (from age 5 to 12) and the setup was perfect. The downstairs was a great spot for the kids, and all 6 of them were even able to sleep together in the downstairs bedroom. With only 4 adults, there was definitely room to spare. Upstairs, the kitchen had all the necessary amenities that you're used to having at home. The livingroom was a great place for the adults to relax on the couches and enjoy the real wood burning fireplace. The hot tub was a must for us, and it was perfect to use on those cold February nights. The host was very pleasant to chat with, and she responded quickly to the messages I sent her through the VRBO app. Overall, we had a great weekend at this property, and we would definitely stay here again! Dear Bianca, I am pleased to hear you enjoyed our property itself but I am very sorry to hear weeks after you departure that you had issues dropping off the trash at the community's trash drop off center and that the person working there was nasty with you. I wish you could have called me to find a solution for the trash or call the community's security (our local police) to file a complain regarding that person as it is part of the community's jurisdiction. Our community is strict about the trash for many reasons and homeowners have to fallow these rules. Also our property is right next to a huge woodland therefore we don't want to attract any dangerous wild animals to our door steps by keeping trash at the property. Sorry this rule made you uncomfortable. I wish I could have helped you out when you encountered the issue at the end of your trip and make your trip 5 stars worth.

So pleased!

My family and I were looking to get away for the weekend and came across this rental. From the moment we reserved until leaving the rental place we were very pleased! Melinda was consistently responsive to my questions and concerns 👍Very impressed on the cleanliness and how the kitchen was equipped with pretty much everything needed (pots, pans, dishes, etc)to prepare our meals. Just bring your groceries and you are good to go! The grill in the backyard was good for our burgers, etc! The adults enjoyed the hot tub! Everyone had fun playing pool! The kids loved keeping an eye out for deer! I loved going out early in the morning to the screened deck to read a book and hear the birds chirping away! We watched movies on TV with Netflix, etc! We got to enjoy the beach, pool and playground, included with the rental(about 10 minutes away by car)! The men and kids went fishing(bring your poles)! Ultimately, we even had a Sunday morning worship meeting with the family...in our prayers we asked God to bless the home and Melinda/family!... and those that will also enjoy the home just as much as we did!!! ——Then to top it off…I mindlessly forgot some items in the top drawer of a dresser and after reaching out to Melinda, she and the housekeeper made sure to ship them to me(naturally my fault, my expense👍). Thank you again, Melinda!

Winter Weekend Getaway

The property is adorable, just as advertised. Sitting in the hottub while it was snowing was amazing. Location was perfect, central to the Casino, hiking and horseback riding, all things we did on this trip. The property manager was sweet and there when we had a question. We can't wait to rent the house again. We highly recommend this property.

STAY AWAY. Not even worth 1 star. Host is incredibly rude and unreasonable.

The host is extremely rude and unreasonable. Read what the host posts in response to reviews with less than 5 stars, and take it as a warning to how this host behaves. When we arrived the stove was missing a knob & the light in the bathroom was missing a bulb. I messaged her to be sure I wasn’t charged for the light & stove knob, but figured I can deal with those things. When we arrived the fridge was beeping an error sign & seemed warmer than it should be so we changed the setting from 7 to 9 (making it colder). I figured the fridge would now be working properly as this is a normal change. The next day the fridge was continuing to beep & all our food spoiled because the fridge wasn’t working properly. I reached out to Melinda who sent a handyman who measured the temperature 10 degrees below FDA standards in both the fridge and freezer, yet still claimed it was working fine. The host then told me that MEAT can be left out at 72 degrees for 2 days, and that supermarkets stored their raw meat at 72 degrees. If I listened to this host my whole party would have food poisoning. All I wanted was a refund for the $300 of food that spoiled because of her faulty fridge after spending a lot of money on this home but she never answered me. I asked again due to no response from her, & she claimed it was suspicious that I wanted a refund. What is suspicious about wanting a refund for money lost? Still no answer from her besides accusations. I asked again after no response for 6 days after leaving & said I would give until the end of the week to handle this situation before I’d write my review. I wanted to give her time to take care of it since the stay was not resolved. She then accused me of threatening her, which this was in no way a threat & was actually me being very nice & reasonable. She didn’t answer for another 3-4 days and then came back telling me I broke her fridge & they had to buy a new one because it was faulty & now she’s trying to decide if she should be nice or charge me the cost for a new fridge because I am a “scam artist”. What!? The only scammer here is this host, & I wouldn’t recommend staying here even if it was the last house available within 10000 miles. STAY AWAY. I’m sure the host’s response to my review will also be very telling so look for contradictions and accusations and be warned. And stay away from VRBO, they couldn’t care less about their renters. The competing app is wonderful and where I’m taking my business from now on.

Weekend Getaway

The house was perfect for a ladies weekend getaway! The long dining room table was perfect for our meals together(there was 8 of us). The hot tub was so relaxing during the chilly nights. The house was very clean and was just like the pictures. I would definitely stay again!

Not as advertised

Out of 4 bedrooms there was only window unit air conditioners in 2 bedrooms and the living room. 2 adults slept in heat. The dryer was broken. There were 2 propane tanks for the grill, both were empty. The lake is not in walking distance. The carpeting really needs to be replaced. We enjoyed the size of the yard to be able to hang out and the hot tub. Extremely disappointed about not having the air or dryer since we needed to bring all of our own linens and towels and not able to clean and dry them

Dear Dawn, I am really sad to find out after your departure that you had issues during your stay. I am sorry, but it is pretty obvious that you did not read the description regarding the property nor the instructions provided about the property. Maybe you were initially looking at another property and a mix up happened?!. Who knows? Anyway, our property is clearly depicted on the VRBO map - we are 2 miles from the beach which is driving distance; we don't have a check mark in the listing for providing linens or towels but we can provide for extra charge or they can be rented of needed; for safety purposes we recommend our guests to bring their own propane container (the container on the premises is free to use but needs to be filled up if it is empty) and I kindly ask our guests to contact me upon check in if something is not acceptable so we can find a solution. Unfortunately the dryer broke down (the belt needed to be replaced) but I wish you would have contacted me because we ended up replacing the dryer with a new one and we could have easily done it during your stay and avoid any unpleasant situation. We professionally cleaned the carpet many times during the Summer 2020 as we had a lot of back to back rentals and many spills, but unfortunately we couldn't professionally clean the carpet after each rental. The good news is we will be replacing the carpet with easy cleaning wood floors in the main areas of the house. Also we are getting central air for the whole house. I cant wait for Summer 2021! I am at least glad you fully enjoyed the backyard and the hot tub.

Let’s go Pocono

The house is perfect for a number of reasons: closed in porch for eating and playing if it is raining. 3 bathrooms, large dining table with benches which is great for kids, nice outdoor hot tub, nice deck and patio, pool table, air conditioned and big enough for several children to play and run around.

It was Amazing !

The House Is Amazing In General ! But the Communication with the owner Was Even Better ! Everytime i had a Problem she helpend me to fix it ! My family Was So Sad That we have to leave such a amazing place , coming from someone that live in the city !

My family and I had a wonder stay here. My 6 and 9 year old enjoyed the outdoor tub very much. This home is fairly secluded and quiet. A family of dears frequently walks across the backyard. The sunroom and deck was very comfortable and spacious. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Melinda was very responsive and helpful. Thank You

Close to all!

Owner was a pleasure to deal with. Property was neat, clean and equipped as promised. Location was excellent for getting to nearby attractions, ie: skiing, tubing and water parks.
