Great Lake House

Reasonable price for a Great Lake location. We rented pontoon boat for multiple days and had freedom of docking it right out back. House itself was suitable for 5 people.

Peaceful, Relaxing and FUN

Our family enjoyed a week at Eric’s lakefront home. It is lovely and had everything we needed and more. We spent lots of time on and around the dock - launching kayaks, paddle boards and docking the pontoon boat we rented. The game room is a blast and the decks are perfect for coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. We gathered in the upstairs living room for family game nights and walked to Patrick’s Pub and The Beacon for dinner. The location is perfect to enjoy the lake and surrounding area. House was super clean and Eric was very thoughtful and responsive.

Great Vacation at Lake Hopatcong

Family gathered for a long weekend vacation and our first time to Lake Hopatcong. We had a great time and the house was very comfortable and accommodating. The owner responded quickly to any questions we had. Having 2 rooms with king size beds was a big plus. The kitchen provided us with everything we needed and there are notes everywhere telling us where things were, saving us lots of time having to hunt for things! The house is on a sheltered part of the lake which makes it nice and quiet with calm waters! It is centrally located which made it very easy to go just about anywhere on the lake. Going to dinner by boat is something we thoroughly enjoyed. Visiting Byram Cove on a weekend day is very busy and enjoyed the energy. It's always fun to get an ice cream treat from the ice cream truck but it does not compare to having the Ice Cream boat pull up to us for a cold treat on a hot day!

Everything I hoped for

The property was perfect for our friend reunion. We all grew up in Hopatcong. The property checked off all the boxes we sought. There were a ton of nice touches by the property owner. Multi port chargers in every room, condiments and coffee available in the house. kayaks and a paddle boat to enjoy. Campfire and tiki torches down by the water made for some memorable moments. It rained two days and there was a pool table, shuffle board and darts to entertain us. Later we saw there were a lot of games in the closet. Everything was clean and that made us very comfortable. Also there was bluetooth speakers in multiple rooms and the materbedroom had streaming apps already loaded on the TV. The owner put a lot of thought into the comfortability of its guests. He was available via text during our entire stay. He is awesome. I would absolutely use this property again The only bummers were that the dishwasher didn't work and the AC kept tripping and we had to continue resetting the breaker. Small inconveniences and very minor when compared to overall great experience I strongly recommend this property
