I was lucky enough to book this little carrot patch months ago so that all 34 days of my Fayetteville visit were relaxing. This beautiful cul-de-sac home, with gorgeous backyard trees, became my home away from home. Mornings spent on the backyard porch were so nice - as I watched the birds and squirrels high up in the trees. Having access to the on-site laundry was convenient and the game room is really cute. The Carrot Patch host is friendly and easy to contact and surprisingly - even the neighbors are friendly. Such a great Fayetteville visit - thanks to the Carrot Patch!

Clean, nicely decorated, lovely home!

This lovely home was ideal for our stay in Fayetteville. Accommodated 2 couples and a young child comfortably (with indoor basketball game and foosball table...perfect!) Home was clean and decorated pleasingly. Our host checked to see how we were doing, so communication was good. All-in-all a stellar stay!

Great stay

Fantastic, clean, quiet home in a phenomenal area close to restaurants and shops as well as Cape Fear Medical. Neighbors are friendly and the pups were in love with the backyard…they made sure to leave many “messages” for the next lucky pups who stay. Host was extremely responsive and abundantly helpful. We will definitely come back to the Carrot Patch for our next Fayetteville stay!

House was very clean & updated. Only negative was the couch appeared to be low end...not comfortable & the fence had an opening so furbabies could get out.

Thank you so much for your review and for your 5-star rating! We truly appreciate your stay with us and are so glad to hear you found the home very clean and updated. We do our best to ensure every guest feels safe and comfortable. The fence issue was caused by our landscaper accidentally running into it, but it has since been repaired back to normal and is once again safe for all fur babies. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to hosting you again in the future!

Recently needed to travel to Fayetteville due to unexpected loss in the family. Carrot cottage was great. Definitely was very comfortable and suitable for my family and in-laws. Perfect for my 14 month old twins. Clarence was very responsive and truly appreciated him checking in on us during our stay. Recommend this place and will stay again next my family visits.

Staying in Fayetteville, NC

The Carrot Patch house was beautiful. My boy's loved the fact that they had their own rooms with television. The beds were so comfortable that we didn't want to leave. The hosts were very accommodating. Super friendly. When we go back for the birth of my first grandchild, we will definitely be giving them a ring!!!!

Great Stay

This property was very nice, and accommodating. Smelled clean however I saw traces of hair inside both bathrooms. I always clean the bathrooms when I go places anyway so this wasn’t that big of a deal. Besides this everything else was great, neat and very accommodating 😊

It was a lovely home in a great location. The only concern that I have is that there were not flat sheets on ANY of the beds. The cleaning instructions said to remove all sheets but leave the comforters. This is typically done if the host re-uses the comforter and does not wash them between guests. It makes me worry that we were all sleeping in someone else's used bedding. There were also spiders and roaches in the home and the air conditioner leaked into a bucket in the laundry room and overflowed on several occasions flooding the hallway.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re truly glad you enjoyed the home and its location. We’d also like to kindly clarify a few things to provide future guests with a full picture. Our cleaning team consistently goes above and beyond to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and comfort. We inspect the home after each guest’s departure and prepare it thoroughly to ensure it’s a welcoming, home-away-from-home experience. Additionally, we reach out to every guest during their stay — including yours — to check in and ensure everything is clean, safe, and comfortable. During your visit, we did not receive any mention of the concerns you’ve shared here, though we absolutely would have addressed them immediately had they been brought to our attention. Our bedding process includes professionally laundered linens between every stay, and flat sheets are included unless otherwise specified due to the bed setup or guest preference. We’re proud of our consistently high reviews and the many guests who’ve had great experiences at this property. Should any guest have an issue, we urge them to communicate with us during their stay so we can resolve it right away. This allows us to deliver the quality of hospitality we’re known for. We do hope you had an enjoyable overall trip and wish you the best in your future travels.
