Lovely home in Yachats

Initially surprised to be staying on East side of 101 but turned out to be a beautiful short walk to the beach and town. Great comfortable and spacious home for us and small dogs. We had such a great time! Thank you for hosting us

Outstanding relaxing time on Oregon coast. We also live in an Oregon coastal town yet still enjoy the unique experience a yahchats had to offer as well as this beautiful rental house.

Boys trip 2024

Great little place just outside of town within walking distance to the ocean. Little bit longer of a walk into town but still a good location. House and amenities are in good shape and working order. We will definitely look for this property on our return visits.

Home Away From Home

We felt instantly at home. Everything we needed to be comfortable was there. It was perfect for our dog Bailey! There was even a dog bed in the garage. Wi-Fi wasn't very good but even that was a bonus. We played games and watched some old classic movies in the evening and took some amazing walks on the beach.

Love this little town, and the house was perfect. I appreciate dog friendly, the shower was amazing.

Went to the art show, spent quite a bit of time at Neptune playing on the beach and the rocks, walked the 804, went to the Sunday market, hunted for agates. Did not want to leave.

Nice place but bill me once please

Beautiful grounds, easy location, worked well for our family. It’s just an older place and smells a bit musty. Regarding the reservation, I’m not sure why Ocean Odyssey needs my credit card information twice, and if I miss the second payment my reservation gets canceled. Why not just bill me once please?

Charming cottage, clean, comfortable, attractive.

My spouse and I went for 5 days. We loved this place. The view of the ocean from the kitchen window is a plus, and it’s only about a 5 minute walk to the shore. Because it’s right on highway 101 it is noisy unless all windows are closed, but the tasteful furnishings are so clean and comfortable and cozy. We would stay there again.

For flower enthusiasts!

My 2 friends and I are all over 60, in pretty good health. There are two short stairways to manuever up with luggage, which was somewhat difficult. The house is fabulously furnished, with a well-appointed kitchen. Overall, a wonderful vacation rental in lovely Yahats!

Well-equipped kitchen

Above average vacation kitchen with nearly all the equipment most cooks could want: coffee grinder, blender, slow cooker, large assortment of utensils and kitchen tools, etc. Nice little sunny back deck for windy days. FWIW, the VRBO map location is a bit misleading in that we saw the cottage on the beach side of 101, but it is across the road. Beach access is just across 101 and a very short walk south where you will see a path to Yachats Ocean Rd. Very enjoyable and comfortable cottage!

Very nice house

The instructions for finding the home could've been more complete. There are 3 homes up this driveway and this home has no number that's visible from the driveway. The home is very nice and comfortable. Very nice art, furniture, comfortable beds, well eqipped kitchen, nice partial view of ocean. The fenced yard in back is great with lovely flowers. The home is not really within walking distance to anything so you need to drive to everything. Overall it's quite nice!

Just ok

The property was fine but the cleaning folks left the broom out and other things out of place. Ice trays in the sink. There’s a sign that says don’t put the knives in the dishwasher but you can’t even cut cheese with those knives they are so worn out. The baking soda box expired in 2021 according to the penciled in date. So why bother? I can’t get the dishwasher to start to save my life. I probably would not sta here again.
